Satoru's mother hates how overly affectionate you are to her son.

Your mother-in-law, the lady of the Gojo Clan of the Great Three Sorcerer Clans, would throw endless "tsks" and "tuts" at you whenever she catches you red-handed spoiling her son. You'd argue that it wasn't really spoiling but more of being an attentive wife.

Satoru was a lovebug, after all. An honest to goodness, "Oh, this man is obsessed with his wife" kind of guy. He was always going, "Where is my WIFE?!" "Wifey!" "My wife!", and wasn't at all embarrassed to express just how much he loves you. You, in turn, never shy away from reciprocating his affection, whether it's by returning his crushing embraces or calling for him through the rooftops so he could hear where you were, regardless of who else could hear you. He didn't give two shits what his family thought of him, but his relatives and servants have lost count of how many times his piercing glares have sent a chill down their spines whenever they made even the slightest attempt to comment on your behavior.

They would catch you two in the strangest of situations. Strange in a sense that your affection for each other is so foreign to them. You, running your fingers through his silver hair, helping him out of his clothes... You being the first thing he seeks out whenever he arrives home. And him bringing you countless pretty and sweet things to fill your shared bedroom...

Your mother-in-law often tells you to stop coddling him, that he isn't a child to be babied— ("He's the strongest sorcerer of your generation, for crying out loud!" She'd always say...)

"He may be the strongest sorcerer of our generation, but he's still my dearest husband. And in our home, he is that and that alone."

Then again, Satoru has always been an odd bird himself, so together, you two made a lovely feather duster.

CW- obsession, stalking, implied murder

Saint!Reader who is raised in a monastery after their healing abilities are discovered. They are kept away from the rest of world and hidden deep in the inner recesses of the monastery. The monks are not the most talkative company so they mostly keep to themselves when they aren’t healing people.

Saint!Reader who heals a wounded man that came to the monastery. His violet eyes are sceptical as you press your finger tips lightly to his right leg. You don’t mind his scepticism, many people doubt that you have an ability to heal but they are quickly proven wrong.

When his leg is healed his eyes are wide with disbelief. You just smile at his shocked expression and ask him if anything else hurts. He just shakes his head and walks out.

Saint!Reader who after that day feels eyes on them at random times of the day. It is an uncomfortable feeling that you bring up to the head monk. He reassures you that you will always be safe if you are in the walls of the monastery. The old sigils in its walls are designed to keep out spirits or demons.

You feel safer after that conversation.

Saint!Reader who sees a man with the same violet eyes and black hair from before, but in monk robes this time. They suit him and you can’t help but stare at him. He introduces himself to you as Suguru Geto.

The two of you get along very well.

Apparently before he came here he travelled the world. He has been all over and tells you stories about the places he has been. It is very different from what you have always known so you are always asking for stories. And Suguru always indulges you with a fond smile.

Saint!Reader who is devastated after the Head Monk goes missing. He had practically raised you himself so to find him gone one day sends you spiralling. You pray for his return every day but as the days roll on a new head monk is chosen.

Suguru, despite only being there for a few months, is chosen as the new head monk. He understands your feelings and holds you as you cry. His calm demeanour helps you through the mourning period. It is hard to pull yourself out of your grief but when you do, Suguru is by your side.

Previous drabble

During the first few months of your stay at the cult, you leave often.

Suguru was not a fan of this but tried to let you do what you wanted. He needed to let you drop your guard more, he needed your trust so he could keep you here with him and the girls forever.

But after two weeks of you leaving every other day his resolve snaps.

You are getting ready to go out with friends, the ones that were left anyway. His heart did soften as he saw your smiling face. Then he resolves himself to gently guide you in the right direction.

He doesn’t want to have to scare you like this but sadly some lessons have to be learned.

You only make it to the marble stairs when you feel something wrong. It was a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. Looking around you try to see if the spirits you thought were gone are back.

A garbled noise has you looking down to see a figure of a mangled woman clawing up the steps to you. She is covered in blood and is a mess of rotting flesh.

A scream tears out of your throat as you run back into the cult. Your heart pounds in your chest as you sprint to the one person you know can help you.

Suguru comes into view and you practically fling yourself into his arms. He was in his night clothes but you were too scared to pay any attention to it. He looks distressed by your tear stained cheeks as if he wasn’t the one to scare you in the first place.

He hugs you to his chest and rubs soothing circles into your back as you sob out what happened.

“Come on.” Suguru says in a soft tone and a gentle expression then leads you to his room.

In your tearful state he pulls you into his bed and has your head on the open part of his robe. The skin to skin contact grounds you.

After a while your sobs have faded into small whimpers as you are curled against him in bed.

“I warned you about those spirits that are after you.” He scolds you with an air of sadness, “They can only get to you when you are outside of these walls.”

“I am sorry for not believing you.” You sniffle and look up at him with a soft expression.

“You don’t have to apologise for learning a lesson, Angel.”

You fall asleep in his arms shortly after.

Good thing Suguru is the one to help you because any one else might take advantage of your trusting nature.

Nerd!Gojo who has never really been interested in girls, not that they were interested in him either.

His personality, copious amount of digimon shirts and his condescending attitude has sent every girl sprinting in the opposite direction. Any girl who showed any flicker of interest because of his looks learned quickly why the others steered clear of him.

Nerd!Gojo who never minded that until he saw you. You were a transfer student halfway through the spring semester. The professor had introduced you to the class in the usual monotone he lectured in.

You had smiled and taken the seat next to his at the front of the class. He had blinked in confusion at you choosing to sit next to him when there were multiple other seats open. You didn’t talk to him though, just began to take notes as the teacher lectured.

Nerd!Gojo who is naturally gifted when it comes to his classes except for history. He can do math problems in seconds but can’t really tell the Nara and Heian eras apart.

You, on the other hand, know all the answers to every question. The pride that he had cultivated from his constant ability to know things suffers when he can’t answer the teacher but you answer with practiced ease.

Nerd!Gojo who, for the first time in his academically gifted life, tries to study. He does his best but something about it just isn’t sticking. He can answer the question after he studies but they slip his mind as soon as he is next to you in class.

You must be throwing him off somehow.

Nerd!Gojo who blushes bright red with frustration and something else when you help him understand a term in the textbook he has been glaring at for the past fifteen minutes. You just smile kindly, not knowing how you frustrate him.

Nerd!Gojo who decides to just ignore you, if he doesn’t talk to you long enough you will find another seat and stop frustrating him. You catch on to him ignoring him three days in. This doesn’t seem to effect you much and you just keep to yourself.

Nerd!Gojo who comes to a horrifying realisation a week into his plan, he likes your attention.

You and Yuki had grown up together.

Her father had a thriving farm and supplied most of the town with food. She was brought up under her mother’s care and guidance but always had that rebellious streak. It was cute in the beginning but soon she was uncontrollable, the exact opposite of what a lady should be. So her mother had the idea to introduce the two of you at the age of ten.

Both of your mothers, who were old friends, had hoped to bring you out of your shell and to give Yuki a proper friend besides the cattle on the farm. You were a shy little thing and Yuki was wide eyed and curious. So she had poked and prodded you out of your shell.

After that the two of you were inseparable, neither of you were seen without the other. You got more confidence but Yuki still was as wild as ever. She would drag you out of your embroidery lessons into the fields and creek that ran through it. You would come back with mud on the hem of your skirts and a wide smile on your face.

You spent six wonderful years with her but not all good things last.

You turned sixteen and a marriage offer came your way. It was crushing because you wouldn’t be able to see Yuki that much anymore. But the kicker was that your parents were sending you to live your Aunt back east for a year to “ready” you for the marriage.

Tears had filled your eyes as Yuki rode her horse beside the train to send you off, tears running down her cheeks and a sad grin on her face. Oh what you would give to stay in her arms for even just a minute longer.

The year was long and hard, your Aunt was an unforgiving woman. Summer turned to fall then winter then into spring then finally summer again.

Soon you were stepping off the train onto the platform to see your mother. She looked so relieved to see you but the black dress she wore and the red under her eyes told a different story.

“What happened Mama?” You ask panic welling up in you.

“The Tsukumo farm burned to the ground two weeks ago, they are all dead.”

You had ran all the way up the path to that farm, tripping over your skirts multiple times to get there. Your heart had shattered upon seeing the charred remains of the farm you had practically grew up on.

The only thing that you found of Yuki was a small necklace with a heart shaped pendant. Holding it to your chest you feel both a sense of loss and hope.

Because if her body isn’t here then maybe she made it out of the fire somehow.

I should just add yearning in big bold caps when Outlaw!Yuki is involved, her love is so soft and patient.
