I'd truly be the worst person to stick into a timeloop because I'd really just spend the first 5 years catching up on my book tbr, the next 7 on all the movies and shows that've Been On My List for ages, and then another decade on ao3. like sure nothing may stick but my memories will and i can just go into a supermarket to get snacks and wine each day, and i have art to indulge in. like thanks for the hints on how to get out but respectfully, I am busy
Question for people who have played Republic Commandos: will it make me cry or is it just the books that will do that?
These are gorgeous!!!!
The ivory funnel scares me though
It’s the season of mushroom🍂
Does anyone know where I get non black/grey/navy/white Star Wars (clone) fan shirts in oversize (like male XL and bigger)?
Everything is black, black, black. This is so boring and annoying. Give me 501st blue Rex shirt or golden Cody shirt. I don't want black. I want bright and happy colors.
It's a valid fear, but I think the benefits outweigh the possibility of that happening. Reading books from the genre/s you want to write is an excellent way to learn the rules etc of the genre, so then it'll be easier to follow or subvert readers' expectations. Plus, even if you are heavily influenced by others' work, I believe it will evolve and become more original as you go.
I want to read other books in the genre(s) I'm writing in, but I'm also afraid that if I do, those books will end up influencing my own writing too much, and I'll end up writing something that's effectively a copy of something else. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is my fear well-founded?
Bad Batch in a Bubble Bath #3: Tech
My boss: "You seem distracted today."
Me: "I'm fine, don't worry."
My brain: "OK, Scene #237 from a book we probably won't start writing for about five years, Take #4,889,023. Action!"
Me: "Oh God please make it stop."
My boss: "What?"
Me: "What?"
it's okay it's back now 🥳
(that or I have cracked it somehow)
