managed to have a decent study day today despite all of the distractions right now; wish me luck on my midterm tomorrow!
making someone a cup of tea as a love language
i was tagged by the amazing Nah ( @a-poeticallychaotic-bee )!! ♡
relationship status: i’ve been dating my partner for a bit over a year!
fave colors: in terms of fountain pen ink colors i’m obsessed with—diamine golden sands (yellow ochre), iroshizuku kon-peki (deep blue), and diamine oxblood (a deep dark red)
3 fave foods: milk tea with boba (is that a food?), poke, and vegetarian lasagna
a song stuck in my head: thillana in sindhu bhairavi by bombay jayashree! absolutely amazing. here is a link for you because you need to listen as well
last song I listened to: i’ve been listening to a lot of harmonium music lately, so probably something off a generic ‘harmonium music’ playlist on spotify :p don’t @ me i know i’m wack
time: 6:25pm
dream trip: japan or the scottish highlands!! i feel like i’ve seen these places in so many novels and films and photographs and i want to experience them for myself and learn about the languages & culture of the regions i visit within them!
anything I want: my paycheck to come today so i’m not living off $11.48 :’) world peace would be nice, too, but i won’t get too greedy here. maybe more empathy, all around.

Four times the amount of people in Afghanistan have been displaced from their homes by the Taliban in a single week compared to the people of Palestine during the May aerial assault by Israel. Both tragedies are extremely important, but please let people know about Afghanistan too.
Please use the tags and spread awareness.

‘clair de lune’ by debussy but you’re wandering down the halls of your wealthy reclusive uncle’s grand and empty mansion trying to find who’s playing the piano because you haven’t seen another soul for weeks except your reflection in the mirror (youtube)

sad that my winter break ends tomorrow but happy that there were snowy days & lots of reading. this semester i'm taking 2 computer science courses, engineering in society, design II, and greek & roman mythology.
110620. had a (covid-safe) painting zoom with people in my dorm as a study break— paint is a medium i struggle with a lot, but i gave this sculpture of diana by giuseppe mazza a shot. i didn't love it at first, but i'm coming around to it now, i think!
