James: *literally running for his life*

Regulus POV

As he turned the corner, Regulus saw James standing there, in the moonlight, staring up at the stars. He looked so peaceful. Slowly, he turned to leave, but the other boy called out, “stay.” And so he did. He would do anything for James, no matter what, which was why he was here in the first place.

To say goodbye.

“James,” regulus said, his voice coming across normal, even though he felt like a raging storm inside, messy and strange, but empty. “Regulus,” James replied, turning to face him, “I haven’t seen you in ages.” Regulus realised that this was a bad idea, he couldn’t do it, but he was here, so he spoke, “I know. I just wanted to say goodbye.” James went to speak, opening that beautiful goddamn mouth of his, but regulus kept talking, “I wanted to say that you were the only thing that brought me true happiness, that you were the reason I believed in love, and that I still love you. So much James, so much.” He could feel tears forming, but he fought to keep them from falling. “Reggie, whatever you’re going to do, don’t.” Said James, taking a step towards regulus, his face broken into a million pieces. Oh, he could always tell when something was wrong, when stuff just wasn’t right, hopefully he can find someone who appreciates that just as much as regulus does. “I can’t James,” he said, trying not to just give in and run towards him, “I have to.” And then, he apparated away

James’ POV

Suddenly, regulus was gone, leaving James standing out there, in the cold, confused, sad and broken. It hurt to see him, his darling regulus, after all those months, but he still shone just as brightly to James. Something was wrong though, that much he could tell, and he knew he had to check on him. So James went back inside the flat he shared with Sirius and found the one thing he kept of regulus’, the one object that was so familiar to both of them, that they would know it even after death, a golden snitch. He grabbed it and whispered a spell, and it started tugging him in a direction.

James ended up at the entrance of a cave, the treacherous waters crashing against the rocks, this had to be the wrong place, but the snitch kept tugging, only this time stronger, so he followed it. It got to a point where he had to conjure a boat, and sail through the water, towards an island, where he could see a silhouette of a person being dragged down by cold, mutilated hands, and he jumped out, running towards the other boy. “REGULUS,” he shouted, “REGGIE.” He got to the body, and dragged it out of the grip of the creatures, but it was limp and cold, his lips blue and his face deathly pale.

As James cradled the body of the boy he loved, he sobbed, and screamed, the sounds tearing themselves out of his throat. Why had he done this? Why had his beautiful, darling, lovely regulus done this? Later, much later, he would find out, and his already broken heart would break even more, but he didn’t know that at that moment, so he kept screaming, and sobbing, and holding his one true love.

It’s always “regulus fell first but James fell harder” but what if James fell first and regulus fell harder?

Regulus, not sure why James potter, popular, bold and loud, was interested in him. Regulus feeling things he’s never felt before and wondering why he felt like that. Regulus realising that he loved James, his love for James becoming all consuming, him being scared because he’s never felt like that before, nor has he ever had someone feel love for him that James potter did.

Regulus loved James so much he gave the ultimate sacrifice for him, but he didn’t realise that James loved him just as much as he loved James, he didn’t realise that what he did would affect him in the way it did. Why would he even think about it? No one had cared about him before. But James potter loved regulus black more than anything, and a part of him always would.

I just wanted to say that my page is a Drarry hate area. Drarry? Horrible. Draco? Disgusting. Dumbledore? Hell no. Snape? Yuck.

(Jsyk, I honestly don’t care if you do or don’t like these characters and this ship, like everyone has their own opinions, but I’m always up for a fun little debate :) )

Marauders & co. at an airport/ on a plane

James: Looks in every shop at the airport, is really hyper up until he gets on the plane, then he’s pretty chill

Sirius: Terrified of flying on a plane (will fly on a literal broomstick but can’t even think about flying in an enclosed space). Brings his skincare to do on the plane.

Remus: Forces everyone to get to the airport early, packs the night before, is at least 20 people’s airport crush. Reads the whole plane ride

Peter: Brings snacks, magazines, games. Gets lost but makes friends with some random person who he’ll never see again

Marlene: Goes into every shop with James, will not chill out on the plane (always asks the flight attendants a million questions), is that annoying person who claps when the plane lands

Lily: Helps Remus rangle everyone into coming to the airport early, has her whole suitcase organised, sleeps on the plane

Mary: Forces everyone to get to the gate early, first in line onto the plane, gets really stressed (especially going through security)

Regulus: Looks chill, but he’s actually really scared of planes (like Sirius), has monogrammed luggage, listens to music on the plane. Sits on the aisle seat

Pandora: Is actually super chill, has the “we get there when we get there” mentality. If no one dragged her along to be early she’d turn up as the gate was closing. Brings her latest craft project onto the plane (not like messy stuff, like crochet or embroidery or smth)

Dorcas: Makes sure no one gets lost, is at least 20 people’s airport crush (like Remus), is willing to put people on one of those backpack leash things. Talks to people on the plane.

Evan: Tired™️. It doesn’t matter if the flight is at 1pm, he’ll still sleep at every chance he gets. Goes crazy when the airport has a Lego shop. Sleeps on the plane (obvi)

Barty: Is extremely annoying. Won’t be ready when everyone has to leave, definitely forgot something at home, is super annoying on the flight (will be that person that “asks questions” when the flight attendants are doing the safety thing), claps when the plane lands.

We like to think Lucy was going to be the perfect ideal accepting cute mom we want for Simon, and that she would open her arms selflessly to his boy's boyfriend and bless their union. And she is, she totally would. But I bet she would be a little shit about it, and she would DUEL Baz on a football match to prove his worth of Simon's hand. She would ruthlessly take down this kid who claims to be her son's true love. "Let's see, Basilton Pitch, if you are good enough for my son. Break me in a football match, no magic, and then you can attempt to propose to him. Salisbury's don't play games boy, we win them!" Simon would shout in embarrassment 'mooooommmm' and Baz would be compelled by Old Family blood manners to accomplish, only to be ugly beaten by his mother-in-law. Like, very ugly beaten down in the football pitch. (Of course she just does it for the fun and bless their union anyway, and she would bond with Baz over sports, team sports, cars and old magic. She would never shut up about how Baz is not 'strong enough for her son' but she does it jokingly and Baz just rolls his eyes in fondness. Simon never stops yelling 'moooommmm' everytime Lucy brings it xD )

remus: you can’t.

regulus: i can’t.

remus: i know. they never let you be famous and happy.

remus: i’m going to be the first.
