Okay, I have an AU idea that could be a lot of fun to write. (＠＾◡＾)

This is nothing serious, I just thought what if this happened, and here I am. ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌

So, this is my AU:

OgCale was a commander of a platoon with whom he formed close bonds.

KRS managed to connect with the team members after JSH (Joo So Hoon) admitted that his father died of old age. The rest of the team (excluding KMA) consoled him, revealing that they also lack close family members.

They offered to be each other’s family, marking their oath by getting matching maple leaf tattoos. (Because the Korean word for ‘one’ [일] can be translated as ‘day’ [낮], and ‘autumn day’ [가을날] can be translated as ‘maple’ [단풍].)

This triggers Rok Soo to spend more quality time with Team 1, subconsciously thinking of them as family.

Simultaneously, an attack by an unclassified monster occurs during the battle in Puzzle City, pushing both Team 1 and the platoon to the brink of death.

The god of death brings OgCale and KRS to his domain, proposing that they return to their worlds and switch bodies. They acept whit one condition: their teams must go with them.

For OgCale’s side, it’s straightforward. The platoon members are easily placed in the younger bodies of Team 1, just before the destruction of the shelters. They receive information about the future situation and their new lives, enough to survive and thrive.

However, Team 1 (+ the Bae family) faces a tougher challenge. All platoon members were born during the war, so they can’t travel to those bodies.

The solution? Create new bodies for them. But there’s a problem: the resemblance to Choi Han.

His mutations in the Dark Forest (because you can’t convince me he didn’t mutate in the 150+ years trapped, surviving with magical beasts and mutated herbs while exposed to lethal poisons and dead mana ┐( ’ д ') ┌) would make him something a little less than human for those who know how to look.

The solution: create non-human bodies that replicate these mutations (bright reflections in black or brown hair, sharp fangs, thicker skin, high resistance to toxins and both live and dead mana, night vision, slightly pointed ears, etc.). This provides a viable explanation for their post-apocalyptic abilities.

Once done, they’re left somewhere between Rain City and Roan’s capital.

Everything up to the start of the journey to the capital happens as in canon, except that Cale’s tattoos (located above his knees) come with him to Nameless 1.

The encounter with the bandits changes everything. In their camp, they find a bunch of cages containing Team 1.

Cale, worried and mentally cursing the god of death, approaches to free them.

Meanwhile, Choi Han is visibly shocked to see a group of Koreans locked in cages (noticed by Cale’s entourage).

Cale frees them using a key he snatched from the leader.

And accidentally, Sejong calls him Timjang-Nim [팀장] (which means ‘team leader-nim’).

Ron asks if he knows them, and Min Ah, carrying her daughter, inadvertently worsens the situation by claiming they’re her clan.

Meanwhile, the knights wonder if this is why Cale brought Choi Han to the Henituse mansion, and they start concocting increasingly elaborate theories.

My God! Like never before, no one thought about how useless the poor soldiers felt every time Cale and his group were present (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ

They surely work to the bone to overcome their own "uselessness" and be able to protect their commander when not even a dragon can do so.

Normal day of a TCF soldier

Today's battle might be my last day. I don't know if I'm going to make it back home to my family. The enemy has mages , bear tribe , lion tribe and even many others dressed in black in their army. It feels like we're going to have a hard time. Well fortunately, our side has the greatest commander who uses his shield and strategies to win the battles; our hero the young master silver shield, Cale Henituse.

He's now standing straight facing the enemy while giving us his back, and he's..... holding a wip? And talking to himself ?? is that ok? Well what do I know I'm just a soldier..... Anyway, the enemy started firing at us and the commander has immediately activated his sheild and water ancient ... Wait a minute since when did he have a water ancient power like that!? AND NOW HE'S ATTACKING THEM WITH THUNDER BOLTS!!! WHAT IS THIS?!! A GOLDEN DRAGON!! WHERE DID HE COME FROM !? WAIT ISN'T COMMANDER CALE COUGHING BLOOD? HE'S DYING!! NOW HIS PEOPLE ARE GOING CRAZY AND DESTROYING EVERYTHING!! WHAT IS GOING ON!?

And the battle is over, the commander has fainted, the enemy retreated and we won .. why am I even here ?

I came across some photos of Nyakim Gatwech and remembering the images of Tasha in the manhwa that I saw, I was very disappointed, why doesn't she look anything like this angel of darkness? She is the definition of black pearl beauty! She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life! So why doesn't Tasha look anything alike?＼＼٩(๑`^´๑)۶／／

I'm the only one who saw the official KRS art and said "someone give this man some African braids" (O⌣O)???

It's crazy how true this is (⊙_⊙), for Cale having enough money to support his family must be one of the biggest dreams he's ever had taking into account that being the last survivor and loneliness are his biggest fears {{ (>_<) }}, every gift is like declaring to the world "I'm not alone and I can protect my people" is a beautiful thing and a big part of his character once you break it down (个‿个)

I feel like it's really telling that, when Cale got a lot of money, the first thing he did with it was give Billos a massive tip and tell him to treat everyone in the teashop to a cup of tea. Like, if that doesn't show how casually generous he is.

And the way he tried to play it off as if he was bragging but it's tea, you know? That's an insanely generous tip. And the way he says he'd always wanted to do it. Like most people, if they got a large sum of money, would go on holiday or buy a mansion or, you know, use it fairly selfishly (not a problem really I would too). And here Cale is, spending it on random strangers, most of whom are dismissive at best

And then he buys the bread and gives them very generous tips as well.

Idk what the point of this is, maybe just as always Cale is a better person than me. He never hesitates to buy things for people or spend his money on others. Sure he does sometimes spend it on Ancient Powers but most of the time, when he spends money, it's for other people

The Kingdom of Life

This is an idea that has been brewing in my mind for a while and was confirmed in my head when I looked at the map of the western continent (o_ _)ﾉ彡

You see this, the desert of death and the Kingdom of Askosan are the same size, that means that there is nothing stopping the City of Life from becoming the Kingdom of Life ヽ(・∀・)ﾉ

It has already been confirmed to us in history that attempts have been made to create new cities in the Desert of Death, so it is not crazy to think that if more had been created, it would end up becoming a Kingdom with its own culture.

What's more, in chapter 316 we are told that only a necromancer will be the new king/queen of death because they are the ones who know the most about the pain that darkness can cause and still handle it ╰(▔∀▔)╯

Not only that, the Night's Exultation is a gem that belonged to the Queen of Death and gives us a great clue about what could be the main jewel of a crown or jewel that marks royalty ヽ(；▽；)ノ

Now that I've explained the reason why I came up with this AU, here are my ideas for it:

The divergence began when the Queen of Death founded the City of Life and appointed a family of dark elves to run it when she I couldn't do it anymore.

She designated this family with a magical huadian that would mark who is worthy to rule, so if one day the family were corrupted their right to rule would be eliminated and assigned to some other family that was worthy.

After the final battle againts the Queen of Death and the Church of the God of Sun it became common knowledge that the next King/Queen of Death would only be a necromancer and the most loyal dark elves built a palace in the capital which was sealed only to be opened when their next King arrived.

The ruling family began to rule and was recognized as an archduchy (The highest rank of nobility below royalty) and a branch of the royal family.

With the construction of more underground cities and towns, an aristocracy began to be created that will govern their respective territories, making sure to remain firm in the principles of always being faithful to their people and helping them in every way possible.

When humans began to escape from Dubori territory to the Desert of Death they were welcomed as citizens of the Kingdom of Life.

With each generation the population continued to increase in both humans, half-breeds and dark elves which caused the kingdom to grow and prosper while the culture developed obtaining things such as harem pants, the wearing of veils on the face and hair and hena tattoos

The archducal family remained faithful to the first queen and for generations humans and dark elves mixed, causing that although the most recent generation (Obante and his offspring) were mostly dark elves the percentage will vary.

At some point, Alberu's mother decided to travel the Continent and ended up as King Zed Crossman's concubine, but since they both fell in love, she did not care much about her new position.

Tasha didn't like this very much but accepted it until she found out that her sister was pregnant and immediately went to help her by disguising herself as a maid.

From here everything goes as canon until during a return visit to her native home Tasha ends up rescuing Mary who became a necromancer, the first in centuries.

During Mary's recovery in the capital's hospital someone leaked the information that the future Queen of Death had been born, and the entire Kingdom began to celebrate the arrival of the future Queen.

Due to the social pressure of taking the throne in the future when she is only 10 years old Mary felt overwhelmed and asked Tasha to stay with her.

Tasha accepted and during the time she took a break she and Mary formed a mother-daughter bond which was solidified when Tasha asked Mary if she could adopt her by blood.

Mary accepted and once the ritual was completed she became a dark elf half-blood, maintaining her status as a necromancer.

His web scars turned white due to the concentration of dead mana and he obtained the huadian of the archducal family in the same color.

I imagine that from here things would go as in canon with the exception that Mary would get lessons in etiquette and politics while she travels throughout the Kingdom of Life to meet her future subjects.

Alberu: Are you sure they will be okay? Cale: The children are going to be fine, the one you have to worry about is the lunatic. Alberu:??? Cale: Hopefully he'll be alive when we get back.

Clopeh: Children, people will criticize your dreams. 'You can’t just secretly film every single battle of Cale-nim and broadcast it to the world'. 'Being a devoted Cale-nim follower is not a real job'. 'Stop trying to register Caleism as an actual religion'.

Clopeh: Ignore them. Be real. Be yourself. Start a Cale-nim cult.
