Good morning you beautiful witch! Witchcraft and spells donāt have to be exclusive to night time, you can do it when you wake up too! Thereās a few different ways to incorporateĀ witchcraft into your morning routine from your morning shower to your first cup of coffee, or tea. Some of these are quick and easy, so you still have time to beat morning traffic, while some need a little bit more time.Ā
Meditate While Showering
If youāre anything like me, you donāt always want to wake up even earlier to meditate. Doesnāt make you a bad witch at all, but there is a way to incorporate into your daily shower time. Unless of course you missed your alarm and are opting for the dry shampoo (weāve all been there itās okay).
Time: However long it normally takes you to shower.
What To Do: As youāre going about your normal shower routine, take time to meditate your negative energy going away. As you wash your hair imagine all your negative thoughts washing away as well. When washing your body imagine all the negative energy washing away as well. Relax each body part as you scrub over them. As the water rinses you off, along with all the soap, imagine all that negative going down the drain as well. Imagine the water is positive energy flowing into you. As you exit the shower and dry off, imagine the towel locking in all that positive. Just like that, youāre meditation for the day is done, you may notice youāll feel a bit more relaxed, clean and awake!
Stir Your Intentions into Your Coffee/Tea
That cup of joe can be crucial in the morning, but you can also add some magical qualities to your coffee, or tea. Also, may help improve that boring old coffee youāve been drinking (no offense).Ā
Time: 2-3 minutes + however long it takes to brew your coffee/tea
What To Do: For coffee, you can brew your coffee as normal or if youād like you can add a few spices to your grounds, depending on your intention for the day. For me, I tend to add a few pinches of cinnamon to my grounds for abundance (and maybe because it reminds me of fall). You can add what you want for the day or whatever you think tastes good. For tea, choose a tea that represents your intentions for the day. For example, if I woke up not really feeling myself, I may opt for a hibiscus brew to bring in a little love to my day. Once youāve settled on flavor and have brewed up a cup, add in what you normally would. Be it, milk and sugar, or maybe honey, whatever you like. As you stir it in, depending on what you want, pick a direction. Focus deeply on your intentions, stir clockwise to bring something in, counter clockwise to keep something away. After your done, take a sip to lock in your intentions. Then enjoy!Ā
Say Thank You to the Sun
Taking some time to go outside in the morning not only helps you feel more awake, but it also allows you to connect with nature and the elements. In Witchcraft, we tend to work a lot with the moon and can forget how much the sun does for us too. Make sure to thank the Sun!
Time: 10-15 minutes, or however long you need
What To Do: This can either be done at sunrise, or early morning. Go outside, you may choose to bring you tea/coffee with you. Find a spot you can sit for awhile, preferably facing the sun (please do not look at the sun). Take a few moments to let the sun touch your skin, allowing yourself to be consumed in itās warmth. If you are sensitive to the sun I highly recommend sunscreen. Take a few moments to think about all the things the sun brings to the earth and to you. When youāre ready, in youāre own words, thank the sun for giving life, light and warmth. You can speak these words aloud or think them. Unsure what to say? Say this:Ā āThank you Sun for the light, life and warmth you bring to this Earth. Thank you for greeting me each morning, and for giving me the power I need to take on the day.ā When youāre finished you may head back inside.Ā
Eat Breakfast
Okay, I get what youāre thinking, but yes, even eating breakfast can be magical. If youāre a kitchen witch, you probably already knew this but, itās all about the ingredients you use. Adding certain ingredients to match your intentions for the day can be a really easy way to add witchcraft to your morning. Get familiar with what ingredients have magical properties and incorporateĀ those to your morning meal. Oatmeal is a really easy way to do this, you can add cinnamon or fruits that represent your intentions.Ā
Morning Tarot Card Reading
This one is also a super easy way to incorporateĀ magic into your day. I like to do a one card pull to see what the day has planned for me.
Time: 5-10 minutes
What To Do: Grab your tarot deck, find a quiet place and focus on your cards. Pull just one card while thinking about the day ahead of you. As you read and interpret the card you pulled, make a note of it. Later in the day, look back on this interpretation and compare to see how accurate you were. This is also good general practice if you are new to tarot!
Morning Walk
Morning walks, especially in nature, give you a chance to connect with Mother Nature. As a witch, we work with nature quite a bit. Itās good to spend time in nature to give thanks and appreciate all it does.Ā
Time: 20-30 minutesĀ
What To Do: This can be in your neighborhood or on your favorite nature trail. In the early morning, take time to walk through nature. Really focus on whatās around you. The shapes of leaves, animals you see, things you may see on the ground. If safe and possible, walk barefoot and really connect with the earth below your feet. Thank nature for all it does and allowing you to work with it. If you find anything you wish to take home, ask nature and if allowed take good care of it!
There are so many things you can do in the morning to incorporateĀ your magic. Donāt be afraid to come up with your own ways and routines! Blessed be!

If youāve been on social media the past few years, then you know the topic of birth charts has sky-rocketed in popularity. Iām sure youāve been asked once or twice what your birth chart is, but what on Earth does it mean? Your birth chart, also known as a natal chart, is a guide on your personality, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities for growth, and the best timing for important moves.Ā
Your birth chart consists of 12 different signs and houses. Your birth chart is based on the date, time and location of your birth. It tells where the planets alignments were when you were born. These all play a part in who you are. Your basic zodiac sign is your Sun sign, this is purely based off what day you were born. When someone asks your zodiac sign you most likely default to this one. You have 11 other zodiac signs that give insight on you as a person.Ā
Each one of these 12 signs in your birth chart have their own meanings. They are:
Sun: Yourself, your main personality traits
Moon: Your heart
Rising: How you look and appear to others
Mercury: The way you thinkĀ
Venus: How you loveĀ
Mars: How you deal with life and problems
Jupiter: You luck
Saturn: The way you discipline yourself and your responsibilitiesĀ
Uranus: How unique you are
Neptune: Your imagination
Pluto: Your transformation in life
Chiron: How you feelĀ
North Node: The way you develop in your current lifeĀ
As I stated before, knowing your date, time and location of your birth is very important, this allows for your birth chart to be more accurate and allowing you to see more about you.Ā
I will further discuss the 12 houses in another post. These also play a big part in your chart. Most people can discover basic information just from the 12 signs, but looking into the houses will give a bit more insight.Ā
These are many websites you can use to find out your birth chart, I find the most accurate site is here. If you are unsure of your birth time, you can check your birth certificate or you can contact your state's Bureau of Vital Statistics. You may also use 12 noon as the time, but you may not receive the most accurate results.Ā
Tips and donations are always appreciated! Message me about tarot readings!Ā

Unfortunately, sometimes we canāt avoid certain family members at social events. Especially with the holiday season approaching. Luckily, there are ways to protect yourself and your energy when they try to bring you down. Hereās a few things I do to protect myself. All of these are discreet and donāt scream to your family that youāre a witch.
Wear enchanted jewelry š
What you need
- your favorite piece of jewelry or something you wear daily
- whatever you like to use to cleanse
- a quiet space
What to do
1. Cleanse the piece(s) of jewelry you would like to enchant.
2. Take as much time as you need to meditate with your jewelry and set your intentions to protect.
3. When you feel ready wear your jewelry!
4. After the social event remember to cleanse your jewelry again to remove any negative energy it may have picked up!
5. Optional: Rub the jewelry in essential oil correlating to your intentions. For protection I recommend Lavender, Peppermint or Orange.
Protection Satchel š«
What you need
- a satchel or pouch deep enough to hold everything
- rosemary, peppermint and lavender (however much you want to use of each)
- amethyst
- piece of paper
What to do
1. Take a moment to hold the pouch, concentrate and think of your intentions. You may also do this with each ingredient if you so choose.Ā
2. Keeping your intentions in mind, add rosemary, lavender, peppermint, and your amethyst to the pouch. As you add each ingredient, repeat the phraseĀ āI am protected from all harm that comes my way.āĀ
3. Once ingredients are all added, take the piece of paper and write either an affirmation or a sigil for protection. Fold this piece of paper as many times as you feel needed. Hold this piece of paper for a second and think of your intentions once more. Then drop it in the pouch.Ā
4. Finally, once the pouch is made, place this somewhere you can keep close throughout the day i.e. a purse, a bag or your pocket.Ā
Wear a Sigil āØ
Wearing a sigil doesnāt need to be obvious. This is something you can wear while keeping it discreet. There are a few different ways to wear one. You can draw one somewhere on your body using marker, or draw one inside your wrist using a perfume roller, or even with your daily moisturizer. The most important thing is ensuring you charge it before wiping it away. You may also opt for just using a piece of paper and keeping it in your pocket.
