To make matters worse, the story brushes off her behaviour with Odysseus as a fuckass curse and she proceeds to fall in "love" with 2 minors.
"if you find the calypso/leo age gap icky then what about frazel or solangelo or grover bring technically 35-''
SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP
Calypso is MENTALLY 3000 YEARS OLD
Hazel is NOT MENTALLY 80 YEARS OLD
Nico is NOT MENTALLY 93
Grover AGES SLOWER BECAUSE HES A SAYTR (i know this from what my friends have told me i might be wrong) so he is NOT MENTALLY THAT OLD
NICO, HAZEL, AND GROVER ARE ALL MENTALLY MINORS. CALYPSO IS NOT. THEREFORE SHE SHOULD NOT BE FALLING IN LOVE WITH MULTIPLE MINORS.
I will not explain at length I just want to tell you that I lost a number of my family members after the bombing of our house in Gaza. The pain that filled my heart after seeing them under the rubble is unbearable for anyone. I cannot bear to lose more of my family. All I have left is Lolo, the only survivor. I do not know what her future will be like without her father and her life as an orphan. Please, any amount will save the rest of my family

Hi everyone ...
I am Maram Al-Nabulsi, I currently live in the completely destroyed 🏚🚀city of Gaza, specifically Khan Younis. Since the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, my family - my father Muhammad, my mother Hiba and my siblings Nour, Maram, Mahmoud - have been living in constant fear, crying and suffering because of shrapnel, shells and bullets. We have no food🥘🌯, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools🏢📚, no homes🏚, no cleaning supplies, no clothes🧣🧥🧤. Our house was completely destroyed. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble. Imagine: We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times, and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity💔🙏, with the constant bombing and shrapnel flying above us? My dear compassionate friends around the world, with your generous donations, even if small, you can save 5 people from imminent death, allowing us to start a life outside Gaza full of love, peace, and hope. Best regards from Gaza City....🍉🇵🇸

I am Hanaa, a resident of Gaza City, specifically in the northern Gaza Strip. I am 38 years old. I live with my eight children and my husband in the Gaza Strip. Before the war on Gaza began, I was living a happy life with my children and my husband. We had a monthly income that was sufficient to meet our needs and fulfill our requests. When the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, we lived as homeless people after our entire house was bombed at the beginning of the war. We were displaced to countless areas since the first day of the war. After more than 200 days of the war, one of my sons was martyred and two others were injured while trying to find us food to satisfy our hunger. I became fully responsible for him after my eldest son was martyred and the other two were seriously injured. My children, my husband and I live in displacement camps. We have no other shelter. For the sake of God, help me feed my children and build a home for us. Donate to me, even if it is a little, because I need your help.

Huh, HUH, HUH????
WHAT IF I WANTED TO DIE. WHAT IF I WAS SUICIDAL.
FUJIMOTO WHEN I CATCH YOU
FUCK BARAM. IF HE DOESNT DIE PAINFULLY IVE LOST PURPOSE.
Nader is still young but due to Israel's attacks on Gaza has had opportunities taken away from him that most kids would take for granted. At night he has to hear bombings, and his family currently lives in a tent. Access to food and water is difficult.
This campaign is 47% to its goal and donations have stagnated, so share this post and donate if you can.

Finally, because I'm tired of how the entire fandom, even the comics, specifically the new 52, easily portrays Jason's struggling family as abusive. Because isn't it a good thing that he gets adopted by the richest man in Gotham rather than his shitty.
Willis Todd was a hardworking father who had to deal with horrible circumstances, and Catherine was a sick woman who needed to allievate her pain.
Alright. Willis Todd being an abusive father to Jason is a trope often utilized. Comparing this version of him to Bruce's reactions to Red Hood is fantastic. Lots to analyze there.
However, I raise you. There needs to be more fanwork addressing the classism behind Willis Todd being characterized as an abusive alcoholic. In some version of canon, Willis Todd was a good dad in a shitty situation. He was poor, his wife (Catherine) was sick, and he had a newborn baby he needed to provide for. In this horrid situation, where he has no family to fall back on and no higher education to obtain a decent well-paying job, he tries to get quick money. He's desperate to keep both his wife and son alive.
Catherine turns to drugs because it's easier and cheaper to buy drugs than healthcare. The pain she experiences is debilitating, and she'd do anything to not feel pain for one godsdamned second. Unfortunately, this turns into an addiction.
This ultimately shapes the way that Jason views crime. Bruce, while he may be sympathetic to individuals who resort to crime to pay their bills, will not understand huddling in Crime Alley in the dead of winter as he debates whether to buy food or pay for heating. He won't understand the bitterness, hatred, pain, and resignation of never having enough money to survive as you get chewed up again and again.
If Jason's dad is just an abusive criminal, that not only perpetuates the notion that all criminals are evil, but it will shape how Jason views those who commit crime. Breaking the law doesn't make someone bad. There's plenty of reasons people commit crime, whether to survive, protect someone, or something else. The issue, especially in Gotham, is the system that perpetuates wealth inequality through bribes and unethical governmental practices.
Anyway, I think Jason's Red Hood is more fleshed out if it accounts for him acknowledging the desperation behind goons and small-time criminals because he grew up without other options.
