This man needs therapy, i genuinely don't think he knows how romancing someone works and how to deal with wanting to "have" someone for himself, like obviously he probably knows the basics of it but the way he's trying to flirt with her was probably unfortunately influenced by how people always acted around him

And then he's also trying to rush the romance because he fears he'll lose Maomao or she will be taken away from him

And then the fact that she's basically making all these grossed out faces around him and is treating him like a normal person - he probably feels safe around her
