Here it is! I wanted to try doing a short comic based on all of the prompts this year. Some of the prompt usage may seem abstract, but I tried 😅 This is Office AU canon adjacent, meaning it’s based off of my AU but isn’t necessarily something that happens. It was just a thought I had to make them trapped in a closet with heightened tension~~~

SVSSS AU where Shen Yuan is not able to harden his heart and push his white lotus Binghe in the abyss resulting in his death.

Devastated by the loss of his beloved Shizun, Binghe takes off with his body and is constantly on the run. He is young and he is not that strong spiritually but he is trying his best to keep Shizun’s body intact and get his soul back into the body.

He stumbles into the demon realm and essentially, his entire character training arc takes place but this time with SQQ by his side (even if it’s just his body) this happens all the while he is fending off Liu Qingge and other masters from his (former) Sect who want to take away Qingqiu’s body from him.

And then Binghe does succeed! He does get Shizun’s body back to life!!

But the soul is not Shen Yuan’s but Shen Jiu’s.

Shen Jiu’s soul had been dormant this whole time but he had been passively watching the actions Shen Yuan had done using his body and he is simultaneously pissed at him but grateful too (for mending his relationships with other leaders)

He also somewhat feels grateful to Luo Binghe for giving him back his body so he tells Binghe the whole truth: that he is NOT the Shizun Binghe had learnt to love and the man he wanted back is truly gone but fear not! He will help Binghe to bring him back because he does not want to stay indebted to him or Shen Yuan. (He still hates Binghe. He’d rather die than stay in his debt)

So!!! Shen Jiu and Binghe set off in search for the Sun Moon Dew Mushroom. They end up successfully bringing back Shen Yuan in this new mushroom body

And now for some reason, Shen Jiu is fiercely protective about Shen Yuan but that’s a story for another day :)

Seen SVSSS fics where Shen Yuan is transmigrated as a disciple or plant baby that Shen Jiu raises and just keep thinking of Bingyuan reunion and aftermath in that verse.

Just Luo Binghe being back and suddenly has all the peak lords attention on him.

Do they care he's a heavenly demon no not really, what they do care about is that their nephew is being courted.

All the peak lords absolutely adoring Shen Yuan. Shen Jiu has on numerous occasions had to fight other peak lords to stop them from stealing him as a disciple.

(The collective we have known Shen Yuan for a day and a half and if anythings happens were killing everyone in this room and then ourselves)

Just Luo Binghe having all his courting attempts blocked by numerous peak lords and also so many shovel talks.

He is getting very tempted just to try bridenapping Shen Yuan... but of course the peak lords are waiting and he keeps getting bridenapping-blocked.

Even Shang Quinghua has threatened him...he thinks, Mobei Jun kinda did it on his behalf (Shang Quinghua is very protective of his baby cucumber bro...he has utilized his little bros puppy dog eyes toi get other peak lords to listen to him and do their paperwork many times)

Shen Jiu giving all the death glares at little beast following little disciple Shen Yuan astound like a lovesick puppy. the other peak lords telling him to relax it's not that bad.... and then all the other peak lords freaking out when demon emperor Luo Binghje shows up wanting to court Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu just screaming 'I TOLD YOU SO!'

Back on my bullshit (reading SVSSS fanfic instead of sleeping) again.

I think one of the best tropes in the SVSSS fandom is that Shen Yuan, no matter who he is, who he transmigrates into, what form he takes, is destined to be with Luo Binghe. Binghe will somehow be there and will fall in love with him. Shen Yuan can be a handsome cultivator, a monster from the Abyss, a spoiled prince, a street urchin, a random ass cattle farmer, a dragon, or even a sentient mushroom, it doesn't matter. What matters is he loves Binghe so much that Binghe has to find him and will love him back.

In conclusion, yes Shen Yuan, Luo Binghe would love you even if you were a worm.
