so now sj thinks he's being courted and he shows signs that he's accepting. he sits closer to sy when they're meeting, invites him to his peak, and is much more pleasant.

The Irony about Amen's Fear of Pain is so crazy to me

Now I'm not the biggest fan of Amen but this update really proved that he's much more than the typical "red flag LI." People who romance him are right when they say he's a complex character and here's why:

Amen's quest for revenge against Shesmu ironically makes him a persecutor of his own kind, as he is one himself.

Amen's fear of deep, soul crushing pain contrasts sharply with his ability to inflict such pain on others without hesitation. His actions reflect a projection of his own fears, suggesting that he tortures others to cope with or mask his internal vulnerabilities.

The duality of Amen's attitude toward torture relishing the emotional reaction but disliking the physical messiness adds a layer of irony. It reflects a separation of his actions, where he disconnects his empathy from the cruelty he enacts.

Amen's fixation on avenging his parents perpetuates a cycle of violence and suffering, turning him into a mirror of the very killers he despises. The irony is that, in seeking justice, he becomes a source of injustice and pain himself.

Seen SVSSS fics where Shen Yuan is transmigrated as a disciple or plant baby that Shen Jiu raises and just keep thinking of Bingyuan reunion and aftermath in that verse.

Because of this music he has become much more Handsome.... And i imagine him dancing in pilot suit under this music

I was thinking about an AU where SY and SJ met each other through the Qiu manor and instead of SJ studying under the demonic cultivator he escapes with SY. SY and SJ struggle and finally get to Cang Qiong where SJ gets into Qing Jing and SY goes to the Beast peak [not very imaginative i know :') ]. They both move through the ranks and reach peak lord status. I like to think its a slow burn and they both end up falling in love. SY and SJ both helping each other heal. I'm not a good writer sorry I just really love the idea of SY/SJ. And I also wanted to practice on my two favorite brushes.
