Macklemore has always been the man. Like same love is the song that got my brother to accept my sexuality and question the church. This guy is responsible for so much growth and love. And know with his vocal support of ending the genocide more people are seeing how great he is.
You know that smut you like? Y’know, the really, REALLY good one? You know that one? Yeah?
An asexual wrote that.
And that really good romantic fluff you like? The really cute one, the domestic fluff? Y’know that one?
An aromantic wrote that.
So before you go to sleep reading fanfiction tonight, be sure to thank all the asexuals and aromantics that are writing your favorite fics!
Because no, we are not the pure little children you think we are.
Everybody say thank you a-specs!
Thank you a-specs!
Alright, I’ll let you go now :3
I saw the last voyage of the demeter and I flipping loved it, I saw it at like 11 at night so that might have added to the horror, but it was so good. Looking here though, I think the general consensus is: if you've read Dracula you might not like it but: if you haven't read it and you're just going for a vampire movie, it's great and you'll enjoy it
Huskerdust is so Linda and Bob Belcher. Like the over the top and weird + grumpy and weird is such a beautiful thing. Like they love each other with all of their being even when they fight, true equals.
Enemies to lovers but it's just opening and closing shift workers
Israel is attacking Rafah rn & here is a list of gofundmes you can donate to. Please hurry!

Socially awkward, self depreciating guys who become besties with talented girls younger than them and live their best lives
There's something there in how during the pandemic people were a lot more politically active in America, there were protests and people made an effort for change. But that was when they had time, and now that the world is "back to normal" there seems to be much less effort. And I think part of that is we're all tired now, we're back to work and to school, and stressed about our life so it's hard to go beyond that and care about others. Not that people don't care, but it takes a lot of effort to actively step for change. There's something to keeping citizens focused on other things, overly worked and chronically tired just to make rent. It keeps citizens down and unable to band together, unable to cause actual change. And I think that that's why there's a difference in people's response to Ukraine vs Gaza. I know part of is surely race for some but I think a lot of it is that private citizens don't have the resources or time to focus on a conflict away from home anymore.
