reblog drrr shizaya izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima soultiio i saw the tie one a few days ago and was like soultiio drawing things and shizaya?? i meant to tag about it but had to find the time to sit down for it your tags on the shizaya ball reminded me though thanks for that i appreciate them very much :> but woahhh i just noticed now that i've missed a lot more from you though and this one super caught my attention so yo is this a spanish quote i looove how the pencil on paper adds to the roughed up texture of shizuo's damage and like the murbling misery feel i get from it murbling is just a word i made up to articulate the vibe i envision because idk the words love how you drew izaya here he's got such sharp defined edges like the lines of his cheek and shoulders and HAAANDS i love how it gives off like angle of bones i really like the look of his fingers like seeing defined bones because the implication is that *those* hands that shizuo could snap in a heartbeat are what brought such hurt to him and i like that they're just kind of hovering over his face opposed to like caressing it so many vibes to it like hands gently framing their work not wanting to touch it symbolic distance between him and the blood like it's his doing but indirectly also i like the potential hand gesture of izaya flatly patting one side of shizuo's face and angling his other hand around his neck like i can envision this motion and it feels like a very izaya way of handling shizuo's face to observe it

durarara shizaya be the change you want to see in the world izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima i made a thing a cheap imitation i've been holding off on posting these here for so long whoops i'm so shy... check out my lemonade guys i've been very motivated to make various things for this fic as a result of this book club i've been hosting for my friends i actually made the first image (not the video) like two years ago? back around when i first read the fic and started being annoying about it to my friends never posted it though because the shizuo i drew was ugly!!! and the shizuo i drew for the second image this time around is still ugly!! unfortunately :( well anyways if it isn't clear the images are both for chapter 19 while the video is for chapters 28 to 29 and a little bit of 30 lol also i know izaya's actual problem isn't fucking shizuo but kissing him lol but it was funnier to keep it like this you can check out more of this deranged behaviour over at my twitter of the same name i know not everyone wants to go there though especially with the current situation... so i'll try to bring over the more memorable stuff to post in batches over here which i think is the stuff i did any art for since i've made a lot of multimedia type things dedicated to particular chapters as “marketing” for my friends but i'm not sure they'll make much sense out of context so my plan is to compile all of everything i've made for the fic during the book club into a powerpoint that i'll try to keep for posterity because ngl i feel i went kinda hard with certain things that maybe only two people will appreciate but i'll do it for those two people out there also it's a whole book club for aci!! *i'd* want to see what some random people have been up to with a book club for this fic side note i wonder if having so many fucking tags on your own post is a bad look... idk it's so much clutter but i have too many things to say!! i look back at my own previous tags and i physically can't bring myself to read them ahhhh i hope anyone's enjoying them anyways

reblog drrr shizaya pathologic izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima shigaeru aaaaaaaaaaaaaa this is so tender i can't this time i haven't got context for p2 but i wish i did because gh th th the dialogue sounds so pretty and agh i've thought about bachelor!izaya grappling with the fact that he's just a scary clown doll based on p1 but thiiiiis shizuo gently taking in izaya's non resistant (and is that trembling with some blood on it) hand?? um um shizuo's furrowed brows they're very endearing izaya's worn expressions and body language have him looking so so brittle the most ever the way shizuo cradles izaya's hand in the most gentlest grasp and it just curls in on itself oh yeah i love the shape of your hands here so much and the flow of each of the shots and dialogue without actual panels ughuuuhhhghgh i adore this with my entire being anyways whoops i maxed out the tags for the last post so now i'm dumping the rest of my thoughts on the au as a whole (based on p1) here i just loooove the whole set-up with the town and whatever is going on between the bachelor and haruspex i had too many thoughts bachelor!izaya in way over his head trying to find immortality or whatever in this silly little town getting clowned right back on by the locals as they make his job impossible and really tax his patience for all of humanity then there's the dangerous weirdo who seems to be going around killing people and works in folksy methods actually idk how you'd characterise him on that front but either way izaya doesn't get him so you know the drill meanwhile haruspex!shizuo is just there's a lot i can't put into words at the moment but you were right the parallels are so there oynon... flea i've read a few of their exchanges with each other and they're amazing hsdhsdgh i'm invested in the characters themselves now too now allow me to suggest the boys committing crimes and breaking the other out of prison yyyeaahhhh i am in desperate need are you still thinking about writing this ever because oh boy would i read it

reblog drrr comic he looks so good shizaya those eyes im a coward that's so good a cheap imitation shigaeru ''haha you have people waiting for you back home?'' laugh it off all you want buddy i really like the pose and general composition of that chess piece panel and the misaligned shading of it looks really good ''you're only human!'' shot of shizuo hhhhh and what a shot of shizuo i can hear the ominous swing of that panel ahh the jagged layout of these panels how your eye follows the action really quickly and oh the flow of the entire slash page goes straight through the guy's throat then takes a sharp turn towards izaya's horror tinyzaya clutching the knife with his bleeding hand the man has finally shut up but at what cost the raw distress of his looming form well yes but also no ghhgghh the blood all over the saw and the cuffs and the chair love that attention to detail but also ow ow ow ow ow thinking about him pitifully cringing in pain as he applies pressure to the saw in eerie silence but bearing through it anyways because he used that hand to kill
