Stars and Planets over Portugal : The mission was to document night-flying birds – but it ended up also documenting a beautiful sky. The featured wide-angle mosaic was taken over the steppe golden fields in Mértola, Portugal in 2020. From such a dark location, an immediately-evident breathtaking glow arched over the night sky: the central band of our Milky Way galaxy. But this sky had much more. Thin clouds crossed the sky like golden ribbons. The planet Mars appeared on the far left, while the planets Saturn and Jupiter were also simultaneously visible – but on the opposite side of the sky, here seen on the far right. Near the top of the image the bright star Vega can be found, while the far-distant and faint Andromeda Galaxy can be seen toward the left, just below Milky Way’s arch. As the current month progresses, several planets are lining up in the pre-dawn sky: Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn. via NASA
"So by pedigree, not by Hemospectrum..." Stelle explained further, "All Trolls, across the multiverse, have different colored blood."
She went and pulled out a small fold out diagram. (links to a Hemospectrum explanation).
"The colors not only determine rank, but inherent abilities... However, I am not on there. My kind have been extinct for thousands of Sweeps before Her Imperious Condescension's rule. She has lived beyond any known Troll of her world, an Empress. She has been putting pressure on Harmonus to open trade and... I don't know if this will be dangerous..."
Taking a deep breath, Stelle asked, "I hope you may have insight, Your Excellency?"
The Lone Moon was lustrous in its ocean of sky. Stelle stood at a long pool of still water, gazing into the deep blue. Gilded fish swam about, some bobbing up at the surface.
The Pierrot Troll picked up an ivory dish, laden with pellets. She tossed pellets to the water, watching as the lazy fish sprang to life.
It was lonely here. Were there Dreamers out to see her?
“You are at Lone Moon. A safe place. I am Stelle LaLune.” Stelle gazed at the mosaic, “You have questions, I take it?”
Stelle kept up her examination of the mosaic, “As a Pierrot, I will be your guide. Oh, thank you for this compliment…. I take this job seriously.”

This was no typical dream. The air was cool with the scent of rain. Marble halls stretched forth, many paths to be taken and explored.
On the floor was a mosaic of a grand tree, stretching its branches.
There was the sound of soft dancer's footsteps, and a Troll dressed as a Pierrot stood.

Soldan: Don’t worry, I know exactly what I’m doing. Everything is going to be fine! Stelle: How can you still say that? Soldan: Because sometimes, when things get tough, denial is all we have.
Soldan: Someone will die. Stelle: Of fun!
"...It's my blood color." Stelle paused. "Dreamers who visit here cannot harm me. But if I dare go back, I will not survive."
The book had illustrations of the bizarre traits of the Spectral Trolls, including crystal-like protrusions on the horns.
"Soldan, you may not be able to find this book on Alternia. It is rare. But Harmonus has it, I know they do."
(lone-moon-pierrot) The stars were lovely on Lone Moon, the sky a midnight rainbow of galaxies. Stelle had something for Soldan to see. "Friend, hello."
"Stelle! Good to ssee you again!" a smile, cheerful as it usually was. Soldan walked and stood beside her, an inqusitive head tilt to one side. "I do apologize for being busy, It'ss getting a bit chilly where I live. Sstocking up and whatnot, tiring work!"

Stelle went quiet. She watched the Egret a little more, before taking Edgar to where they were to go next.
She did not complain, only doing her work. Seeing how important this door looked, she took a crisp, white cloth from her pocket to open the door.
It was a grand throne room, the one Edgar would know very well.

"Hmph, who are you?" Mydaas hissed.
Rennoh shrank back, but perked when he heard a familiar name. "You... Do you know Stelle?" he asked.
Mydaas glared, "Go away. You have no business here!"
Rennoh slipped away, ready to start his foraging. He was shaking, afraid of Mydaas and the hunters.

Stelle had entrusted her friend to check on her brother, a Troll living on Harmonus.
Harmonus' main metropolis was a dizzying whirlwind of color and co-existence, fed by many worlds and universes with Trolls.
The train would take Soldan to a more rural place, and the manner of folks on the train went from enthusiastic tourists and locals on daily errands to farmers and sorts that seemed... ...Shady.
Subdued Subjuggalos, other Highbloods that seemed to be ready to hunt, exchanging money with a farmer to "Cull the Wilderwood."
Weighing in at up to 700 pounds, the elk stands as one of the biggest deer species on earth. But don’t think that just because an elk is large that it’s slow. A mature bull can run as fast as 40 miles per hour – they’ve even been able to outrun horses in short races.
