Sebastian: Yes, my lord.

Demon!Ciel: You look completely broken.

Demon!Ciel: You’ve become boring.

Sebastian: Yes, my lord.

Demon!Ciel: Is that all you can say?!

Sebastian: Yes, my lord.

Demon!Ciel: …I hope you know you look like Claude.

Sebastian: How dare you-!

*Cue Ciel looking proud of himself because Sebastian is now ranting about he looks nothing about Claude and how low it was to compare him to said spider demon.

Can you write Sebastian taking Ciel’s soul but make it as sad as you can? I need to cry 🖤

Well, I usually try to write things to make people happy, but if crying will make you feel better, then I’ll do my best. I also write requests in the order I get them, but I’ll get this one out ASAP. I hope you’re alright, Anon 💜

“Where are we?” Ciel asked as they approached the island.

“Somewhere far away from your world. I figured this would be the best place for everything to come to an end.” Sebastian said as he brought the boat to shore.

Sebastian stepped out of the boat before lifting Ciel into his arms. Had the contract still been in place, Ciel probably would have insisted that he could walk just fine and didn’t need to be coddled. However, these moments were his last, so if Sebastian wanted to carrying him, why not let him? Besides, he was so tired.

Ciel buried his face into the demon’s neck and decided to rest his eyes. He wasn’t sure if he was dreaming or not, but he thought he heard the demon say, ‘You’re still such a child,’ before using his free hand to hold the back of his head.

Part of Sebastian was glad Ciel had fallen asleep. There was a bit of a walk ahead of them, plus this gave him some time to think.

Sebastian had already decided he was going to be gentle when taking Ciel’s soul. The boy had done nothing to warrant his last moments being nothing but extreme pain and suffer that no human could even fathom. Sure, Ciel had been a brat, but he had never been cruel. Well, except for when he forbade Sebastian from keeping cats inside the manor, but Sebastian had mostly forgiven him for that.

‘Even without it, I’m still the head of the Phantomhives, and that won’t change!”

‘Stay with me… until I fall asleep.’

‘Sebastian!’

‘You can never betray me.’

‘Stay with me.’

What a child indeed.

“We’ve arrived, Young Master.”

Ciel was awoken by Sebastian voice, just like many other times. He turned his head to look at his surroundings, but kept his head resting on Sebastian’s shoulder. He hummed in response, but said nothing.

Sebastian moved to place Ciel down onto the couch-like stone, but Ciel tightened his hold around Sebastian’s neck.

“Young Master?” Sebastian asked as he straightened back up.

‘Oh no. Please, please don’t start begging for your life now. Don’t make this any harder than it already is.’ Sebastian silently pleaded.

“You didn’t tell me your name.” Ciel said, still holding Sebastian tight.

“What?” Sebastian asked, raising an eyebrow.

“On my 11th birthday, I asked you to tell me your real name and you said that you would tell me when I was older. Well, I’m not going to get any older, so will you tell me now?”

‘Well, I’m not going to get any older, so will you tell me now?’ rang in Sebastian’s head.

“What would you say to one last game, my lord?”

“I like games.” Ciel yawned. Sebastian chuckled.

“I know you do. Do you recall the poem you would ask me to read to you before bed?”

“Do you mean “The Raven?” Don’t act like you didn’t enjoy the poem too, Sebastian.”

“I never said I wasn’t fond of the poem as well, my lord. Now tell me, who was your favorite from said poem?”

“The raven.”

“And what form did I have when I first appeared to you?”

“… A raven.” Ciel answered, his eyes widening a bit. Sebastian smirk.

“Won’t you quote the raven for me?”

“Are you-?”

“Nevermore.” Sebastian and Ciel said in unison.

“Nevermore… I like Sebastian better.”

“That was rather rude of you, my lord. However, I suppose the name Sebastian as grown on me these past few years.” Sebastian said with a sad smile.

Ciel gave a small chuckle before relaxing onto Sebastian once again. Sebastian looked up at the moon. He placed his hand back on Ciel’s head.

“It’s time.”

Ciel sighed and let his grip on Sebastian loosen.

“Alright.”

Sebastian placed Ciel on the couch-like stone and knelt in front of him.

“I’m going to put you to sleep now, my lord. It will be easier that way.” Sebastian said. The ‘for both of us’ didn’t need to be said aloud. They both knew.

Sebastian removed Ciel’s eyepatch and let it fall to the ground. He brushed Ciel’s hair out of the way as he let his magic take hold of the boy.

“Goodnight, ‘Bastian.” Ciel muttered as his eyes closed for the last time. Sebastian felt a stab in his chest at those words.

“Sleep well, my lord.” Sebastian said as placed “The Raven” by Edgar Allan Poe on the bedside table and tucked the newly turned 11 year old into bed. The irony of the duo’s favorite poem for now lost on the younger.

“Good night, ‘Bastian.” The young Earl muttered as he feel asleep. Sebastian brushed Ciel’s hair away from his closed eyes before collecting the candelabra and walking out of Ciel’s bedroom. Tomorrow was a new day with new adventures awaiting them. There was never a dull day in the Phantomhive Manor.

“Sleep well, my little lord.” Sebastian whispered.

This day will forever mark the end of both Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis.

Going back to my mixed feelings on season 2, I love the idea of Ciel becoming a demon and Sebastian being like “Well, shit, I guess I have a kid now” and them becoming a duo.

Anyways, can you imagine them making contracts now? You can’t tell me that it wouldn't be entertaining.

Sebastian: So, you wish to make a contract with us? Very well, what do you wish?

Random Person: Yeah, cool. I just want to pass my math test tomorrow.

Sebastian and Ciel: What?

Random Person: Yeah, so… I lowkey forgot that math was a thing for awhile and my brother bet $10 that I would fail and I want my $10. So can you make me pass or no?

Ciel: Well, back in my day we didn’t make contracts for such pointless things. Don’t you want revenge on anyone??

Sebastian: Not everyone can be Ciel Phantomhive. But, seriously, you’re wasting your life over a math test? Just study.

Random Person: I don’t have enough time. Do you want to eat or not.

Ciel: Kids these days.
