Audrey Hepburn vs Eartha Kitt is an actual crime against humanity.
You bastard!
*goes back to weeping over the choices this round*
You're welcome!
All quarterfinals polls are now up:
Audrey Hepburn vs Eartha Kitt
Rita Moreno vs Marlene Dietrich
Hedy Lamarr vs Anna May Wong
Lauren Bacall vs Diahann Carroll
This freak bit my nose about 2 weeks ago. Don't take this post lightly.
Y’know what fuck it.
*projects my desire to bite people onto another character*
Everytime I read one of Lipwig's books, I have to gaslight myself into believing that he was never referred to as Alfred Spangler at the beginning of Going Postal.
"Alfred Spangler? Never heard of him. Now Albert Spangler on the other hand..." over and over again in my brain. Surely it'll stick one day.
I miss my friends so much that I want to rip my hair out and cry and roll around on the ground and bite the achilles tendons of anyone who isn't them.
But I must remain strong.
So years ago I watched Once Upon a Time and had made it through season 3, so I thought I would catch up.
First of all:
I'm in love. Don't even care.
Second of all, and I'm only on episode 4 as I write this so I might be reading this wrong, but how is Mr. Gold going to swear on his son's grave that he's going to do better and still be doing sketchy shit and being secretive. I mean I get it. You can't change all at once. But he can't pick up the phone and tell someone about whatever his relationship with the Ice Queen is about. He couldn't give Emma a call and tell her about Hook's hand situation, which is playing out before my very eyes?
He didn't just promise Neal he would be better, he said he would be the hero and person Neal died believing he could be. Come on man.
There's a really cool point in this if you will bear with me, okay!
Peter Serafinowicz voices Death in the new audio books and in the new The Amazing Maurice, right? He's kind of like the new official Death in productions now like Christopher Lee was.
BUT guess what other show he was on that is a complete tonal shift and I didn't even realize it was him? He was The Tick in the Amazon Prime show!!! I absolutely LOVED this show!
(The bastard hid his britishness)
And now get this!
Sir David Jason played Rincwind in the Colour of Magic adaptation, okay? Well he also played Albert in the Hogfather Adaption!
There were a few other actors that where in both as well.
My point is:
Actors play in different things and everytime I discover this I get really excited for no reason 🙃.
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
The ghost writers chained in his cellar confirmed it when I snuck them some bread.
neil gaiman is this true???
It is true. The yellow-skinned four-fingered version of me from The Simpsons claims not to be able to read.
I know it's super late but when I was in my horror genre class this evening we were talking about subgenres and about actors that appear in certain types of horror movies as certain types of characters. My group got to Justin Long and his many deaths/misadventures. This was all I could think of and I needed to make it.
K goodnight.
Obligatory musical episode I see. Thanks Buffy for solidifying that for every show in existence. At least the cover for the theme sounds cool.
Not digging the Cassie/Jane thing going on though. I'm team Shelly all the way.
4/6 of the way through Good Omens 2. I'm avoiding spoilers, but in the safe places I look nobodies talking about the C.M.O.T Dibbler reference in episode 3 on the Laudanum bottle.
I hope these last two episodes are good, 'cause I am loving this season. Everything about it is so perfect.
(I saw a few other Pratchett stuff, but once I've watched the whole thing I'll go back with a fine-toothed comb)
I finally watched those last two episodes. The series started off strong and ended by using that strength to rip the heart from my chest.
"I hope these last two episodes are good, 'cause I am loving this season. Everything about it is so perfect." I stand by this 100%. it was beautiful, and I'm sure I'll write a huge thing about it later.
10/10 would cry again.
Terrible jokes and ramblings and OH GOD, THE PAIN! THE UNENDURABLE AGONY! (howdy)
