happy out of touch thursday
Day one of twitters Shadamy week: movies
I feel like Frankenstien kinda fits shadow and his lore really well.
also probably have to specify that shadow was probably the one who picked the movie.
When my roommate's new kittens get into my lunch I left out:
I'm seeing people post their cards so here we go! How many prompts were there? Because all of these are so distinctive from one another lol!
Doctor Who The Happiness Patrol:
1. "No one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away...The span of someone's life is only the core of their actual existence." (Reaper Man, shortened)
2. "Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?" (Going Postal)
Don't you hate it when your father is smelted and you have to carry his packed remains in a bank vacuum canister?
Also, Susan Twist again! And they know there's no way we could have missed her so many times because the next episode is an old woman following them around menacingly. Who is she, and what does she want?
You guys know that boy who beat Tetris about a week ago now? He's from Oklahoma! (Yes, i'm just now learning this but also: Finally, something good from our state!)
But I've been thinking about this news in relation to that one Sky News reporter (you know the one), and I'm starting to wonder if her hostility was not only because of his age and her lack of understanding about how important and credible video games are to a younger generation, but also because he's an American.
To add insult to injury, he's an American from the Midwest from a town no person in Europe has ever heard of.
He's not from Boston, LA, Tampa, or any other buzzworthy place. He's a boy from a small area whose done this amazing thing, but because of all these reasons, it was beneath her to have to report about such a person.
And honestly if that's the case... she deserves to work at Sky News.
I don't have a lot of nice things to say about this episode, but what I will say is that the first 13 minutes were pretty dang good and them bringing the memory TARDIS from Tales From the Tardis into play was amazing. Every scene in there was absolute gold.
It took me way too long to figure out what this little doll was for.
He tucks himself in at night! He can't sleep, so the little doll is him! Something named Wesley Dodds that can actually sleep while the Sandman is out solving crimes. Adorable.
I loved your Mid-Nite Shade story! It made my shipper brain happy.
Yoo!!! I'm so glad! I was gonna answer your comment today as well! It's so funny because you're occasional Swift/McNider posts are what keep me thinking about them.
Terrible jokes and ramblings and OH GOD, THE PAIN! THE UNENDURABLE AGONY! (howdy)
