I Wasn’t Looking For Anything At All When I Met You. Actually, I Wasn’t Planning On Falling For Anyone

I wasn’t looking for anything at all when I met you. Actually, I wasn’t planning on falling for anyone so soon. But then I met you. And that was it…I guess things just happened. I found you and I found myself slowly wanting to spend time with you. It was simple. It was easy. And I think that’s how the best relationships begin. You’re not looking for anything and then suddenly you realize; you have something.

— I fell hard.

Heartbreak is when you’re trying to move on but they keep popping up in your dreams and say the words you’d wish they’d say.

For the TUMBLR NSFW PURGE

I’m pretty sure everyone knows what I’m talking about but Tumblr staff released an update saying that blogs flagged as nsfw will be banned on December 17th, 2018. Nudity, genetalia, or “"female presenting nipples”“ are all considered forms of posts that can get you banned. People are calling this the Tumblr purge and everyone is freaking out. Tumblr has been flagging accounts under the radar as well SO:

If you don’t know about your blog being flagged or are worried about someone else, if you go on this site postlimit.com you will be able to search your blog name to see if you’ve been flagged for being nsfw. Your icon will be blurred out and there is a section (that I highlighted in blue) that will tell you whether or not staff considers you nsfw. You can ask for an appeal, however at this point and considering how in the rules and guidelines ED related blogs are not allowed I would be careful. Tumblr staff might be drawn to your blog if you ask for an appeal and just might straight ban you before December 17th even hits. But, if you’re desperate and don’t care because you’ll be banned anyways, go ahead and try, it might be worth a shot.

Here is what you’ll find if you scroll down after typing in your blog name or someone else’s:

For The TUMBLR NSFW PURGE

If your blog is marked to be banned by d17, your icon will be blurred and there will be a red ‘yes’ by the explicit section! However, remember you can appeal.

I really don’t like how society demonizes crying. You’re seen as weak or manipulative if you shed any tears at all about anything. People look down upon you if you cry, or think you’re “faking for attention.” Even in the media, a character learning not to cry is considered good character development, and a character who does frequently cry is portrayed as weak or cowardly.

The truth is, crying is one of the healthiest coping mechanisms humans have for stress. It’s been scientifically proven that the chemical composition of emotional tears (compared to basal and irritant tears) purges stress hormones from the body and produces a relaxing effect at a biological level. It’s also nonviolent (more than can be said for the more socially acceptable anger response). Humans evolved to cry for a reason.

If one isn’t allowed to cry (if they would be shamed/abused for it), the stress hormones will build up and cause illness later on. They will have to force themselves to cry because their first instinct will be to repress the tears. They wouldn’t be able to cry in front of people anymore, either.

Go ahead and cry if you need to, for whatever reason. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.

“I don’t know where stand with you. And I don’t know what I mean to you. All I know is every time I think of you, I want to be with you.”

Eat healthy foods because you want to nourish your body, not because you want to change the way it looks.

Move your body because you want to keep it strong and healthy, not to change its shape.

Love your body fiercely, and let that love be what drives you to treat yourself with kindness.

As someone who has been living with severe suicidal ideation my entire life I wanna tell you all something, you don’t have to stay alive for yourself. People will say it’s a bad idea to live for external things because they’re temporary, and it’s true living for yourself is ideal but if you’re not to that point yet that’s ok too.

I’ve lived for my dog for the past 4 years, before that I lived for my snakes, before that I lived for my cat. You can live for whatever needs you and whatever matters to you. Live for your best friend, live for your plants, live for your pets, live for your animal crossing town. Live for whatever keeps you alive and the day will come when you can live for yourself.

It frustrates me so much that I’m not allowed to talk about my trauma’s to anyone from my family. Only because it puts them in bad lighting. But no shit they are being put in bad lighting. They are the reasons i have some of these trauma’s. They should have thought about this before traumatizing me, right? Not my fault that they look bad when I talk about the things they did to me that made me struggling with these trauma’s.

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way than this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.”

— Pablo Neruda, excerpt from Sonnet XVII (I Do Not Love You…)
