I just thought of something so FUCKING SAD ok so follow me here-

DC, but they also have Pokemon teams. Some of them just have like a partner Pokemon and never did anything else others have too many because how can they say no to that cute little face??? I saw this joltik and you thought I'd leave him alone?? No. He's mine now he likes my plant.

But so many DC heroes die (and come back) but mainly Jason. First of all let's assume he already had a huge pack/team of undeseriable Pokemon from when he was living on the streets. He's never caught any of them, he will deny being their trainer, but they will all kill for this kid who gave them food or headpats one time.

Then Jason dies. and his pack of Pokemon are LEFT ALONE and the babies MOURN and I CAN'T FULLY FORMULATE THIS IDEA BUT
