Anxieties! Attack!

Imagine if Danny didn't even know he was the 'heir'. Vlad 'what's proper/informed consent' Masters would just go ahead and do that. Announce it to the world. Everyone would know. Except for Danny and his friends. He doesn't pay attention to whatever the fuck Vlad does on social media platforms unless it has to do with Phantom. He has it tagged so he gets notified, but otherwise doesn't pay attention.

Now the Bats? Who have Vlad tagged as 'extremely suspicious definitely hiding something' notice. And now the kid's showing up with an evil smirk to watch their battles, generations in the making? A plot. They must look further into this.

Family Traditions

The Mansons and the Waynes always had a...rocky relationship. Starting with Alfred facing off against Ida on the battlefield during his time in the British secret service. And cursing when the girl scurried out of his sight.

Although they no longer wanted to kill each other (maybe, they had children to take care of), their rivalry prevailed, and they could start fighting over anything. It was one of the reasons Ida attended to the Wayne Gala and only the Wayne gala. Just to upset the butler.

And this didn't just stay with them, Pamela HATED Bruce Wayne (and the feeling was mutual). They attended galas since they were kids and he was the most fucking annoying person she knew. She couldn't believe how he fooled everyone with "the playboy Brucie", he was obnoxious. And smarter than people gave him credit for. (Also, Pamela was pretty sure he was gay anyway)

Sam didn't want to follow this family tradition but when Damian Wayne tried to stab her with a cooking knife (after she kindly gave him an advice, taking responsibility as the eldest between them), the war begun, again.

Danny started attending those galas only to see things explode after being told this piece of information by Sam. The entire Manson family knew about it but the Waynes had no idea why the Masters heir was there. He even brought popcorn!

Sam works as an investigative reporter for the Daily Planet. Clark is terrified. That woman has even worse self disregard than Lois. One of these days Sam is going to get caught by some criminal ring or evil millionaire.

Clark, vaguely panicking: Uh, so, a really important part of being Superman is to care about everyone, right?

Kon, with stars in his eyes: Right!

Clark: And that extends to helping people out, with like, day to day, non-worldending things.

Kon: Right!

Clark: So I've decided, to help you on your path, you're going to do something that I did. Something incredibly important to who I am today. I would not be the same Superman without this experience.

Kon: Awesome! What is it?!

God, I am IMMEDIATELY fascinated by the idea of Clark being faced with someone who is just undeniably and completely above his weight class, but said someone thinks HE'S the ideal to aspire to and wants to be JUST like him and thinks he's this insurmountable ideal who can't EVER be matched or beaten. And like, not to be an asshole here, but how many times in his life has Clark actually met someone he KNEW he wasn't stronger than who wasn't, like, a Doomsday or a Darkseid? Someone he KNEW that he couldn't just physically force into submission if shit went wrong; who could never really actually HURT him? Much less been around someone like that for extended periods of time?

Much less someone like that who wasn't even full-grown, and therefore was probably only going to get STRONGER?

Like, really. How many times?

Clark, internally: This kid already has all my powers after roughly thirty seconds in the sun and could LITERALLY crack the planet in half with that TTK of his but sure, sure, I'M insurmountable. This is fine. This can't possibly end poorly. A MORE POWERFUL version of me who was BORN with those powers and who doesn't understand people's falibility or imperfections or shades of gray and thinks I'm PERFECT, and wants to be just LIKE me. Who didn't grow up with anyone like Ma and Pa, but in a TEST tube. Right. Yeah. This will end so, so well.

So obviously letting this kid fly off to Hawaii with minimal supervision and ethics that were installed by morally-dubious scientists who wanted to mind-control him is just NOT gonna work, but what, is Clark supposed to tell this kid who's mostly a stranger who he IS? Explain Clark Kent, and how Superman isn't perfect; how it's just a persona? A face he puts on so he can help people, but not its OWN person? Not something real or sustainable?

Unfortunately, the Batfamily is used to weird shit, and they presume that some magic user made them forget Danny. Cue epic quest to reverse the spell and remember their beloved family member while Danny and Jason frantically commit to the bit and try not to get caught.

So imagine danny and jazz move to Gotham wither it be willingly or on the run. And danny becomes good freinds with Jason. And one day while with danny, jason invited danny to dinner at his family's place.

So jason brought danny to the manor and danny is like "bitch if your fam rich why you live in 1 bedroom apartment in the worst part of town, make it make since". Anway jason and danny sit at the table with the other batkids. The other batkids look at danny kinda funny, jason forgot to mention he was bringing a freind lol.

So then Bruce entered and sat in his chair. He looked at his children took a bite of his stake then his head snapped back up and looked at his kids again. His eyes honed in on danny.

"Who are you?" Bruce asked looking at danny

Danny looked at Jason uncomfortable

Jason looked at Bruce and let out a exaggerated gasp "bruce have you brought so many kids home you forgot about one of your kids!? And my favorite brother no less"

Bruce raised a brow and Damian yelled "what he isnt one of us!" Pointing at danny

"La gasp, demon brat you forgot about him too, even after everything you both have been together, dick talk some since into these heathens!!" Jason cried his hand over his heart.

"Um sorry I uh dont know who this kid is either" dick says fidgeting

"FOR SHAME, SHAME ON THIS FAMILY!!!" Jason yelled dramatically

Everyone was looking at him and Danny, "kid look can you tell us your name" bruce asked looking at the halfa

And danny being the little shit he is goes "you dont remeber my name?! Your jokeing right dad???!!" His eyes wide crocodile tears threatening to spill from his eyes. Everyone In the room is silenced looking at Danny in confusion and guilt.

"It's ok lil bro I'm always here for you" jason says placing a hand on his shoulder "let's go to place for ice cream ok" Jason says to danny gently, Danny sniffles and nods. Jason then leads them out of the manor.

The rest of the batfam is left thinking what the hell, did they really forget about one of their family members, bruce is like "I'm a horrible father, I forgot one of my babies!!??"

Bonus if to commit to the bit danny goes out on potroal with jason and they meet up with the bats and batman is like "who are you" and jason and danny are like "what the hell dad, you forgot Danny's vigilante persona too, you really are a sucky dad" and like leave.
