Here’s the orbital period of our solar system’s 8 major planets (how long it takes each to travel around the sun). Their size is to scale and their speed is accurate relative to Earth’s. The repetition of each GIF is proportional to their orbital period. Mercury takes less than 3 months to zoom around Sol, Neptune takes nearly 165 years.

the other night i tried to make a curry and i got chilli burns all over my face, so i thought to myself ‘hang on, doesn’t milk soothe chilli burns? it does’ and i couldn’t google because i couldn’t see so i just had to blindly feel my way to the fridge and pour out a bowl of milk, and then plant my face in the bowl of milk, anyway at that point the rice cooker went off and triggered a power surge which turned my electricity off, which i didn’t notice at first because i had my face in a bowl of milk and when i did emerge from the dairy prison i thought i had gone blind with chilli burns. so no i don’t really cook much.

Just had an idea for a horrible art game

One artist draws something, and then makes it a silhouette, gives this to another artist who doesn’t know what the actual drawing is, and they have to make a drawing within the silhouette based on what they think it is 

Then the original and new version are compared 

gf: “what are you thinking about?” me: “oh, nothing.” me, internally: “if Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny were both on Baby Looney Toons then why does she have to introduce herself in Space Jam? Shouldn’t they have known each other since they were children? Could the Looney Toons Universe subscribe to the multiple worlds theory where Bugs and Lola never met? but how far does this, for lack of a better term, rabbit hole, go? Elmer Fudd was on Baby Looney Toons as well, which means that he and Bugs are roughly the same age but as an adult he is Bugs’ primary antagonist? The lifespan of a rabbit is 9-12 years and Elmer is clearly an adult. How can that be? Could Bugs bunny be immortal?”
