hello!! so i’m not sure if it’s only me but in the past couple weeks i haven’t been seeing people push the narrative that asian lives matter when they do.

also happy asian american and pacific islander heritage month, i’m not either one of these but it is very important to respect these cultures especially with past events of the 6 asian women being killed in march. after the shooting, i haven’t heard as much uproar compared to blm. as a black women, i will. make sure that your voice is heard on my blog. we need to stand for them as much as they stand for us, there was uproar for a week but nothing more. thats bullshit. the way that black lives matter, asian lives matter. because of the pandemic a lot of people cannot find ways to support and show alliance, there wasn’t even an event or protest to show alliance, every social media has been very quiet about this topic... i’ve noticed in the music industry, asian americas and asians in general are overlooked or just simply not cared for, despite kpop, in mainstream music, people of asian descent are scarce. i have created a playlist to help support more asian artists, if you would like me to add more artist please let me know, i stand with asian lives.
