Day 2 - New Year’s Day
Nejire sat up with a pounding throb in her head. The room spun for a few seconds before settling down to show a living room piled with heaps of garbage and... was that someone’s sick in the corner? Well, whatever it was, Nejire got up anyway. She felt dead, but put on a smile anyway. Might as well get this room cleaned up in the meantime, she thought, as she began scooping up red plastic cups and chucking them into the garage can. This is definitely going to take a while...
A few hours later, Nejire had successfully took out two bags of trash, cleaned the living room floor, wiped down the tables and vacuumed the floor. A lot could be done once she put her mind to something, and she even shocked herself. Now she stood at the kitchen sink, washing the dirty leftover dishes from last night. And also with great surprise, her headache was gone, too.
“Morning, Neji.”
A tired voice yawned from behind her as their hands wrapped themselves around her waist and pulled her into a back-hug.
“M-morning!” She stuttered, “is that you, Melissa?”
“Of course it is, sweetie.” Melissa kissed Nejire on the cheek and smiled. “Why else would I be so affectionate with you?”
“Um... I... I dunno.” Mumbled Nejire, “cause you’re my friend?” Nejire immediately wished she hadn’t said something so stupid. Melissa grinned.
“No, silly.” She said, “because we’re girlfriends!”
“Girlfriends?” Nejire’s heart leapt.
“Yeah, don’t you remember? You confessed to me last night when the clock hit twelve. Well, you actually kissed me, but same thing.”
Oh, right... thought Nejire, smiling.
“I guess I do remember...”

"You'll know who truly loves you Shouta, it's the little things we don't often notice..."
His mother used to tell him that while growing up, one of the many life lessons he would here from her. Comes with the territory of being raised by a single mother. She taught him everything there was to know about navigating this wild ride called life.
She taught him that love is kind and patient, it doesn't want anything in return. She told him that intimacy is gentle and compassionate, it doesn't need to be rushed or forced. But the one thing that really stuck with the man, was when she told him about marriage.
His father was always a distant man, only really appearing for his life milestones: Graduations, Birthday parties, he even showed up at his wedding.
His mother once said: "Marry for love, and it will be all you need".
At the time when she said that, Shouta was just fresh out of the hero academy. He wasn't even thinking about things like love or marriage. But now, looking at his husband Toshinori, sharing a bed with him while being the big spoon...
It all suddenly made sense.
He held Toshinori close to his body, like a child with their favorite stuffed animal. All those things his mother taught him, he finally understood what it all meant.
Everything will be okay.

Day 4 - Costume Upgrades
“Aaaaaaaaaannnd.... done!” Melissa exhaled tiresomely and slumped down in her chair, exhausted. “You can open your eyes, Neji.”
After half and hour of keeping her eyes tightly shut, Nejire opened her eyes to see a whole new Nejire-Chan. “Whoa... it’s so tech! No wonder it took you so long!”
Nejire examined her new appearance closer in the mirror, turning back to front. “It’s like I’m one of those FPI people in America!”
“FBI,” corrected Melissa, chuckling quietly. “Want to know what the upgrades do?”
“Heck yeah!” Nejire slid thick goggles off of her head, “tell me what these do first!”
“Okay,” Melissa took the goggles from Nejire’s hands, put them back on her head and switched them on.
Nejire’s interest spiked as the room became illuminated with emerald-green color with squarish, yellow text analyzing objects and people around her - including Melissa.
“This upgrade helps you analyze your opponent’s weakest spot so you can find the best point to shoot your quirk at them.” Explained Melissa.
“Ooh...” awed Nejire, “now these!” She held up her hands to show two thicker gloves than the ones she had before with two small buttons on both of the outside sides of the gloves.
“Those just amplify your power.” Said Melissa, “it’s not as cool as the first upgrade, but I thought it would be useful-”
“Lemme test ’em!”
“Wait, you don’t know how-!”
Before Melissa could protest, Nejire switched the upgrade on and blasted her quirk forward; smashing the mirror and then the window in front of them.
“To use them...” Melissa sighed painstakingly.
“Whoopsie, that’s my bad.” Nejire looked apologetically at Melissa, “am I gonna have to pay for that?”
Melissa stayed silent.
“I’ll take that as a yes...” Nejire switched off the gloves, took them off and handed them to Melissa.
“Better keep these out of my reach, honey...”

I think I’m losing my ability to make a good plot and write longer prompts, but oh, well. I still had fun writing this, though! I especially liked the ending.

I tried to make this one wholesome, but I don’t know if I did a very good job, but anyways...
I also semi-managed to make this one a bit longer because of how short the other ones were, so... yeah.
Anyway, I really hope you all enjoy this, and feedback is always appreciated!

Day 6 - Free Day
“But going back to what I was saying earlier,” Melissa took a big gulp of her hot chocolate, “ when rain falls down from the clouds, it freezes due to the very cold temperature, given that it’s winter.”
“Huh...” Nejire also took a sip of her drink, “I guess you really do learn something new everyday.”
With the trigger of the cliché bell ding, the café doors opened for a new customer, and a chilling block of air wafted towards Melissa and Nejire, the both of them shivering in response.
“I’m not really used to this cold,” said Melissa, “it never snowed at I-Island.”
“Bummer.” Replied Nejire.
“Bummer?” Melissa perked up, “how?”
Nejire took another delightful sip of her beverage. “Well, for starters,” she began, “you can build a snowarmy.”
“A snowarmy?” Repeated Melissa, “don’t you mean a snowman?”
“No, a snowarmy.” Nejire took another sip, “they’re good company to have around, and are very handy in snowball fights.”
“How so?”
“They can be used as barriers,” explained Nejire, “and also as good suppliers.”
Melissa became hesitant, “please don’t tell that I’m thinking what you’re thinking.”
“Hm? How? Anyway, you can take a good chunk of snow out of them whenever you run out of the snow around you.”
“But they’re protecting you! Don’t you think that’s unfair for them?”
“It’s called a snowarmy for a reason. Every soldier dies while fighting for their country, or in this case, their ruler: me.” Nejire drained the rest of her drink, “I would go on with the list, but I think you get the point I’m trying to make.”
Melissa nodded, also finishing her drink. “That conversation we just had didn’t make sense at all.”
“It only doesn’t make sense to you, because you didn’t choose to understand.”
“Right...” Melissa started to zip on her jacket, “I don’t think that’s how it works, but okay.” Melissa and Nejire both made their way out of the café, the snow outside was falling ever-so-slowly.
“Oh, and another thing.”
Melissa looked at Nejire, “yeah? About what?”
“Y’know, the cool things about snow? Well, it isn’t really about snow, but about winter in general.”
“Go on...”
“Well, if your hands ever get cold, you can always hold someone’s hand to warm them.” Nejire took Melissa’s hand in hers.”Or in other words, I just gave myself an invitation to hold yours.”
Melissa smiled, “invitation? Who said anything about you needing an invitation to hold my hand?” Melissa gripped Nejire’s hand affectionately, “you’re always welcome to hold my hand, Neji.”
