MangaSuna Week - Day 4

Day 4 - Adrenaline

It was just a normal day of hero training, and you would think nothing of it. Yet Setsuna's feelings became un-normal, and she became a little worried...

It was a few days after he confessed to her, and she soon noticed how much of a gentleman he was more and more by the day. It was when she saw him that her heart beated faster, and when he worked-out she figured that she might as well woman-up and either ask him out or pass out.

But throughout all her younger years of considering people foolish for their giddiness towards another, she finally understood that it was much easier to create the whole "ask-you-out-and-the-ship-sails" scenario in her head, than it was to actually execute it.

She figured that she could pass out - therefore she would be able to control her feeling much easier in her sleep. But the thought of him crouching over her to aid his classmate made her instantly reconsider the thought.

Thus, there was only one option left.

Be a woman! she thought to herself, even though her legs threatened to make her stumble; she pursued the walk anyway and went over to ask him out. This was either life or death. And with the way her feelings made her feel, she didn't care or which she got.

"Hey, Manga, can I talk to you really quick?"

Manga looked over, and the tension worsened when all his friends went silent. They nudged him in the shoulder teasingly.

Ignoring his childish friends, he stood up and nodded, "sure."

He walked by her side as they went into a more secluded area, and Sestuna's subconsious blackmailed her to stop or it would activate self-destruct.

But no, she wouldn't stop. She had to do this.

"So, I know it's been a few days since you told me that you liked me-"

"Cut it to me straight, please!"

"I like you too!" Sestuna felt a painful regret, but also a comforting relief.

But now it's life or death, remember?

Oh, wait.

Setsuna smacked her forehead, causing Manga to panic. "Setsuna, what the hell?! Don't hit yourself!" Manga rubbed circle's on Setsuna's forehead with his thumb.

Setsuna smiled to herself; he already liked you, idiot, it wasn't life or death. Well, it was, but probably for him anyways. You were panicking for no reason...

The two were silent as they walked back to join their classmates, holding one another’s hand - their love was in the air...

Heroaca Art Dump? I fell sick again for the 5th time this year, and I thought, maybe I should try drawing while getting well. Now I am almost convinced I can draw in any situation. (ง •̀_•́)ง Fight on!

So, like, nothing today, folks. I’m dead tired, but that’s pretty much it.

Prompt 4- Injurues

Melissa took in a deep breath; walk in, and don’t say anything, you’re just going to make Deku worry.

She opened the front door and took a st-

“Melissa!” Izuku rushed over to her, examining her visible injuries. “What happened?!”

“Just an experiment gone wrong, no biggie,” she assured. Izuku gave her an unsatisfied look. She wanted to avoid the fact of how reckless he was whilst preparing for her experiment, shame and embarrassment folding over her neighboring emotions.

“Come on, let’s get you cleaned up,” Izuku gently took Melissa by the hand and took her to the bathroom.

“Deku, honestly- it’s okay-”

“No, it isn’t, Melissa. If it was, I would’ve let you take care of this on your own!” He growled.

Melissa nodded glumly. He was right. She was being foolish. She took a seat on a stool as Izuku rummaged though drawers.

“Hey.”

Izuku cupped his hand under Melissa’s chin and raised her head, he smiled softly. “Listen, it’s okay to get hurt sometimes; mistakes happen. But it’s not okay to reserve yourself from getting the help you need.” He pulled out disinfectant from one of the drawers.

Melissa winced as he dabbed some onto her cuts, the sharp stinging pulsating where they were located. He rested his hand on top of her head.

“Don’t come home and give me a heart attack like that.”

Melissa tried to smile, “I’ll try not to,” she began, placing her hand on top of his. “No guarantees.”

As you can see, I probably got the whole prompt wrong and did what I wasn’t supposed to do, but that’s okay. I should warn you that you should always expect those type of things from me.

Anyway...

I kept it short for today, because I had no other ideas for “injuries,” so I used 100% of my brain power of the last remaining brain cell in my head to try and come up with something decent.
