Reblog or Like if You Would Protect This Precious Goat King

To my fellow Undertale fans, I’m sick and tired of people bashing on Asgore because of their shippings and general hatred of him. Truth is that he is not the true villain, in fact, it baffles me is how people are so bitter about him when he’s such a well-written and fleshed out character (among the others).

Just look at him! He’s a misunderstood and tortured soul that has lost so many (including his son) and only wants to do what’s right for his fellow followers to get them back to the above world. He’s desperate and he would do anything to atone!

Now, I’m sure that anyone and I mean ANYONE would be desperate if they were put through the same situation as Asgore here, trust me on THAT.
