I’ve seen a lot of people doom-posting and generally being afraid of Sapo Peta’s message to Quackity, but despite the blatant parallels to Sodom and Gamorrah, I still think our story will have a kind ending.
Why?
Because Karmaland loves its heroes.
Karmaland loves its heroes, even if its heroes are imperfect. They make stupid mistakes, and they hurt the people they love. They’re capable of violence, betrayal, and a hundred other acts of cruelty, but Karmaland knows this and loves them in spite of their faults. It wants them to learn and grow and love and change, which is why it sends people who can help facilitate these changes.
