because he believes his son is worth ALL the effort and doesn’t deserve for his son to only get half of anything. Right :D

After ya know, Eurylochus' death, Ody was the one using his big-ass sword, like he keeps Polites' headband. So, not only does he lug around a sword his size, he also gets to fight Poseidon with Eury, his brother-in-law's sword. And he also should be able to give it to Ctimene, his sister, and Eury's wife.
Zeus: "If you don't end him now, you'll have no one left to save."
Athena: "Finish it."
Aeolus: "The end always justifies the means."
Poseidon: "Ruthlessness is mercy."
Hermes: "You can be hurt or you can beat her. ... I'll help you conquer her."
Tiresias: "I see a man who gets to make it home alive, but it's no longer you."

Hi!!^^
So I wanted to ask about how to pronounce Polites. This whole time I thought it was Poll-ites but then I heard Jorge pronounce it Pole-ites. But when I went back and listened to "full speed ahead" the first time he says it after Polites says "Captain!" he pronounces it like Poll but then when he says his name again he pronounces it Pole. I'm so confused help ;n;
I say it like Poll-ites? (Poe-lites)? Though I think both ways are very very similar? I think the differences you are hearing in the musical might just be the pacing of his name to fit in time with the music? Maybe?
just a reminder that the “creator” @ notmyannabeth is taking fanart of leah’s annabeth and whitewashing it!! do not like from that account
i’m going to look for all the original fan art and tag the actual artists
it's actually surreal that it's done
Maturity is when you realize people can't give you what they can't give themselves, so you stop expecting loyalty from people who betray themselves, stop expecting honesty from people who lie to themselves, and stop expecting peace from people who are at war with themselves.
