I just cannot wait for the day Lindy Ruff is fired.

I am tired of having the tiny hope I have be taken away every damn game.

I am tired of seeing the players, who are clearly just dun not in the sense that they aren't trying but in the sense that they have gotten used to the disappointment that is this season, be exhausted every game, especially when players like Daws, L. Hughes and literally anyone else who is showing signs of stress clearly aren't playing in tiptop shape.

I am tired of Lindy sounded disappointed any time he is on screen, no matter if we do well or not that game, it's consistent disappointment and disinterest when I hear him talk and it sucks.

I am tired of New Jersey somehow finding a way to be a joke even in the sports world with our ONLY major professional, this team is many people only knowledge of Jersey and yet we are STILL a joke or something to just not be respected.

I am tired of every game where everyone is sure this just HAS to be Lindy's last game and yet somehow he is still there the next time we play, that somehow someway he probably won't be fired till the end of the season and EVEN THEN who knows if he actually will me.

I am tired and over it but I'll still be watching the games, I'll still be there when we lose once again, I'll still be there talking to Sky saying shit about how much I hate Lindy and how he is running this team into the ground, I'll still be complaining about Ruff to my parents because they have to know everything wrong going on.

I'll still be here because just because a team is doing shit doesn't mean you should drop it just because of that, that just shows you weren't actually a fan in my opinion.

I have far too much state pride for my own good because I genuinely love this state and love this team, so I'll stick through the good and the bad, continue to be slightly angry with myself for not being able to get into hockey last year when we were badass.

And I'll still be watching and eventually buy more stuff for the Devils because let's be real, the second that sales drop and the Devs aren't as popular the club isn't stay in Jersey, so might as well support the bastards ya know?

And hey, who knows, maybe one day we shall see Lindy gone and this team flourishing, but until then I'll just keep being sorta upset that we aren't doing as well as we can and drinking my problems away (this is a joke and I promise it's just water, Liquid Death specifically).

I drew the lovely Miss Ariana Griande (completely by accident mind you) and I gotta be honest, I might just start drawing her more because wemon are pretty and nice to draw (I drew this on my computer btw so the style is a bit different than normal)

It's my birthday today! Which I am happy about, I'm 17 which...not so happy about but whatever.

I don't really feel older, honestly I'm kind of just out of it. I suppose it doesn't really feel like my birthday much at all, that happens when you get older right? You feel it less and less? I don't know man I'm spitballin here.

I'm going swimming in a little while, which will be fun, hopefully we're getting OutBack since we haven't in forever and it's my birthday damn it. I originally wanted to go skating today but with me staying up all night and poppy needing to work it just didn't work out, maybe that's why I'm out of it, who knows (I sure don't).

After today the only thing I'm looking forward to is the beginning of the NHL pre-season because OH do I have plans for that AND the season it's self, it's gonna be real fun (so long as I keep up with it).

Anyway, y'all have a good rest of yer day, I'll have a good rest of my B-day, byeeee!!

The New Boys(TM)

So I actually drew them yesterday but didn't end up posting it cause its on a bigger WTTT page. It started out as just Jersey but then I wanted to draw New Mexico as well, and then I somehow had all four of them on the page.

I have the slight headcanon that they are all related in some way, like NJ and NY are brothers and NM is NJ's cousin but not NY's and NH is NY's cousin (or brother idk) but not NJ's. I don't know it seemed like a funny concept to me.

I saw this idea floating around that NM was raised by the NorthEast and I love that idea so like that is probably why NJ and NM are cousins...probably..ya know I hadn't actually thought too hard about it lol

I'm going skating but I decided to whip this up before I left sooo ENJOY!!!

New Jersey-

Play Fights

Every region has their own thing that they do as a fun competition. The West Coast does comedy nights, where they see who can make the most people laugh. The South has what they call Hunt Offs, to see who’s the best hunter. And the Midwest likes to do cook offs, with the South being taste testers.

The North Coast has play fights, multiple rounds through the course of two days, normally held on a weekend. This includes Maine all the way at the top of the North Coast, all the way down to Florida, which allows for a larger roster.

It started as just a thing the New Netherland area did, over time it expanded to include the whole of the North East, then Delaware wanted Maryland to join and soon it spireled to the whole North Coast.

Of course it started out friendly enough, everyone tended to go a bit softer on Georgia since he isn’t nearly as rough as everyone else. Then North and South Carolina would make a bet when they fought, which had Pennsylvania open up a proper betting pool. The play fighting weekend always ended up with everyone sore to all hell and back, saying to themselves to never do this again and specifically never go up against New Jersey again.

Jersey was strong, while it didn’t visibly look like he could pretty easily lift 400 like it was 20, he could. However he often forgot just how strong he was compared to everyone else, it wasn’t like the rest of the states were weak but when compared to them, Jersey was like a powerhouse.

He isn’t too sure as to why he’s so strong, especially since he normally comes off as looking like a twig, however he did believe it was most likely something demon related. He knows his own demon, not father, father is no slouch in the strength department, and Jersey also knows that he could easily get his strength up more. 

It’s not like he wants to hurt the others, he really doesn’t, sure it’s a bit funny to have Northie pinned down after five seconds of fighting and sure it’s amazing to be better than Yorkie, but it doesn’t make up for the fact that he’s hurting friends, people who are basically his family.

Despite him being significantly stronger than the others, he never has actually won before. He always gets in his head when up against Yorkie, always ends up hurting him the worst, always dropping out after and just watches over the betting pools. 

It’s basically tradition at this point for Jersey to tend to everyone’s wounds after this, whether it’s early in the games or he and Yorkie were in the semi finals, it doesn’t matter. 

Jersey has a big heart, a big heart that can’t bear to see him hurt his family, so he’ll try to make up for it. Cooking for everyone involved, taking care of their wounds if Rhody brought a knife again (seriously he has got to stop doing that), just generally being a nicer person for a good week before he starts to go back to normal.

The next time the play fighting happens, the same thing will happen again, a vicious cycle that Jersey can’t snap himself out of.

Howdy yall, today I come with sad news, ya boi broke/fractured his ankle. So Im going to hospital in the morning but in the meantime Im playing minecraft (enough though I should really be resting my ankle, minecraft is my comfort game). So anything on here might be a while, gonna actually finish Hermit-A-Day-May during this but yeaaa. Im broken lolz

I am not liable for any sort of feels y'all experience with this one :D

I was just sitting in the snow for the past hour-ish, came back in about 20 mins ago. I would have stayed out longer if it wasn't for the fact that my other earbud died and I didn't want to check if the other was charged enough, and if my fingers hadn't started to get uber numb and my butt was totally soaked.

Would totally recommend BTW to sit in the snow like its a lawn chair, I was doing so with my legs bent and woah boy was it comfy. 10/10 I will do it again when I can!!
