Its 2am

So I remembered how I haven't done anything here on Tumblr in a while so I thought to do this. Yes I am alive and Yes I will be posting on here again soon hopefully sooooo yeah :/

Also just wanna mention my ankle real quick cause 1. it's obviously doing much better than when I last mentioned it and 2. it wasn't even my ankle that I had broken, nono folks it was actually MY LEG, it was a comminuted fracture which means it was broken in MULTIPUL PLACES, so anyway yeah its doing much better now lolz

no one cares about my wttt/hetalia crossover fic but I am incapable of not spoiling my own shit so what i have so far is under the cut if anyone wants

Alfred yawned, blinking the sleep from his eyes. He looked around, still adjusting to the new light. Between the cheap faux-leather chair, the large round table, and the fluorescent lights swinging slightly above; great, he had fallen asleep in a meeting again. He couldn’t recall for the life of him what meeting, but he half expected Ludwig or Arthur to appear, scolding him for falling asleep again. 

The light turned off for a moment, but quickly flicked back on; “I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize someone was still in here” 

Alfred looked to the doorway, a man stood there. He wore a navy blue suit, and light blue tie, his hair and beard were dark and a bit long but neatly trimmed, Alfred took the US flag lapel pin to mean he was government… he swore he had never seen him before though, and Alfred knew everyone. 

“Gov, I need to talk to you about–oh hello.” Another man came up behind the first, his shirt and tie were both loud, and looked like something a man fifty years older than he looked would wear, more importantly though was the white coat. What was a doctor doing here? 

“Hi” Alfred said, offering an awkward smile, “I fell asleep, think the meeting that was in this room ended without me. Who was in here last?” 

The two men looked between each other, a new air of nervousness permeating the room. “We were, but you weren’t here…” the dark haired man opened a file flipping through it, clearly looking for some hint of who Alfred was. 

“You might have just missed him, there were more states than usual in the meeting today” the doctor (?) commented. 

The other nodded carefully, weighing the possibility; “I’m sorry, who are you?” he looked over Alfred, his focus shifting to the flight jacket, “Are you Air Force? Did we arrange for you to come today?” 

“Air force…?” Alfred got up waving his hands, in a negative way, as he crossed the room “No, let me restart.” He held his hand out for a handshake, the dark haired man taking it hesitantly, “I’m Alfred F. Jones, The United States of America” 

The two men glanced between each other, then broke out laughing, “Very funny,” the dark haired one commented, accepting hand sanitizer from the other without even thinking about it. “Civilians really aren’t supposed to be in here, but since one of the states set you up to this don’t worry about it. Exit is at the end of the hall.” 

He didn’t budge from where he was standing, “A. I’m not a civilian, B. No one put me up to anything, C. Haven’t told me who you two are.” 

“I’m the Federal Government, this is Center for Disease Control” 

The other pointed to the other them himself, “Gov and CDC for short” 

“Yeah no, you two are the ones pulling my leg, I’m both of those things.” he stopped looking into the distance for a moment, “Actually, I know I’m one of those things, never really asked about federal agencies…”

I have Jersey headcanons and gosh darn it, it's a tad long, so I'm only doing like one page at a time, I'll post the other ones later probably...if I remember. ANYWAY HERE!!

New Jersey

Constantly moving, either tapping his foot or moving his legs, always dancing too, if there’s music he’s moving

He also tends to sing whatever song is on his mind, whether it’s English or not

He knows all of the states comfort foods

Controls the entire StateHouse garden, and is the reason there is a flower garden, if you want a flower in that garden you talk to him to figure out where said flower needs to go and what conditions it needs

He and New Mexico managed to convince Gov to let them have a pool at the StateHouse

When he was learning the south’s comfort foods, he managed to convince Texas to teach him how to make a brisket, yes it’s not really any of the south’s comfort food but it’s a southern thing so of course he needed to learn

When angry he’ll switch into different accents, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, and surprisingly to some, southern

South Jersey is pretty southern, one of his comfort foods is grits

When he hosts NE dinner at his home, he makes sure to add in dishes that are shared favorites

Any and all produce that can be grown in NJ climate, is grown in his back garden with all the accommodation they need

Mafia boss, he doesn’t partake anymore and technically the guy he was is dead but still, the power remains

Used to be a show boy, occasionally still is with Nevada

Just mildly obsessed with roller coasters

During the summer, if he’s not at the shore then he’s most likely at Great Adventure

While it’s not his favorite game, he LOVES to play Just Dance

His room is actually in the south hall instead of the north, he’s between Texas and Oklahoma, he switched with New Mexico because he would have had to be between Penn and Mass and he would rather die than be between that warzone

Has lots of animals on his farm but his favorite are his horses, a few of which he was given by Kentucky

Taught Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio how to play poker and blackjack, the only thing is, is that Jersey taught them how to cheat without them knowing

Jersey never actually cheats in card and money games, he just knows how to play

Stopped talking to Nevada in the 80s because of Atlantic City, Nevada understood it was because they were rivals and also the mafia but it doesn’t stop Jersey from feeling bad about it

Despite what everyone tends to think, Jersey likes to keep to himself and is relativity quiet for the most part, it just so happens that he is normally around people that he either likes (NY, NM, NH, Cali, Rhode, Del) or has strong feelings about (Mass, Penn, NY, Connecticut, Virginia), which makes him loud

I'll say more about it later because I wanna actually think about how all this would work but..........Superhero AU :)

What states do you headcanon play hockey, and what positions do they play?

HIA, it hasn't been 2 days, what are you talking about? Anyway I got them all down finally, I'm not gonna say they all make sense but most of them have a team so it's finneee...probably?

HOCKEY STATES WOOOOOO-

Jersey: Defense, left-wing

New York: Forward, center

Massachusetts: Forward, right-wing

Connecticut: Defense, right-wing (doesn’t play anymore)

Pennsylvania: Forward, center

Gov: Defense, left-wing (barely has anytime to play but tries to when he can)

Rhode: Defense, right-wing

North Carolina: Forward, left-wing

South Carolina: Defense, right-wing

Alabama: Forward, center (only plays roller hockey, college football offseason)

Missouri: Defense, right-wing (only plays roller hockey)

Tennessee: Defense, left-wing (doesn’t play often)

Arizona: Forward, right-wing

Colorado: Defense: right-wing

Minnesota: Forward, left-wing

Oregon: Defense, left-wing

Montana: Forward, center

I feel like most of these are self explanatory, like NY Jersey and other NE states, but others I may have to explain I think...oops?

Okay so, the Carolinas playing isn't really THAT surprising, they have a team (I don't know which state the team belongs too and I am perfectly fine not knowing lol), same with Tennessee, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, and Missouri.

Now Alabama on the other hand, football offseason, literally only roller hockey, besides ya know...violence. Hockey can be a very southern sport when you think about it.

Gov plays because once again, North East, but also because I have a feeling he would be very into the Washington Capitals. It isn't like he gets the chance to play often but when it's a slow winter day he can and will go and play on a lake somewhere with the NE states.

Connecticut doesn't play anymore because he is dramatic (RIP the Whalers, you will be missed until Carolina pulls out the jerseys again), and probably because of injuries or something, he's mainly just dramatic.

Anyway won't lie, this list is mainly off of vibes and whether or not they have a team. For example, California has three teams and yet it is impossible for me to see that man play any sport except maybe beach volleyball. Meanwhile Rhodey is on here and yet he doesn't have a team, I can just see him using hockey as a way to remove stress, it's therapy but WAAYYY more expensive.

May i ask about your headcanons for states as kids, just whatever you want come up with, I'll share mine

I think a lot of the states had accents speaking English as kids

Florida would definitely just combine the weirdest food, if there's a weird food that every state is eating it's because Florida found a really good one and made it a trend

I personally imagine texas would sleep(or try to) in a pillow nest, his hair would also be very unkempt and his hat would be oversized

Gov has been overly professional forever and has made a fool of himself, i imagine the states were adults already and whenever they even slightly take him seriously they remember the ridiculous things he said as a kid and laugh

They all definitely commit violence upon each other, especially after Christmas with the bonk stick

YES YES, them as kids is such a fun thing to think about

States as kids

Mass and Penn were bitters, you get too close and you got 50 unknown viruses 

Jersey is a forest rat

York and Jersey would swim in the Hudson, no one knows how they are still alive

Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Oklahoma would go hunting together, yes they were about 8, what about it?

If Jersey talked too fast he would stutter or switch to either Dutch or Swedish, he wouldn’t notice the language switch until York told him

Florida and alligators, need I say more?

California was very food picky, most times Texas would cook something for him

York and Jersey would go between each others homes for dinner every weekend, York’s grandparents loved to introduce Jersey to different Italian foods, Jersey’s mothers would do the same to York but with Dutch and Swedish foods

Penn and Virginia would have other states watch Gov during the week, with Mass, Vermont, and Maine watching him on the weekends

Jersey and Del weren’t allowed alone, they would go onto boats and try to take them over, just two probably 7 year old's successfully taking over a British ship

Minnesota and Michigan would trick Wisconsin by swapping places, like the parent trap but with a fellow child and it’s just that child that would fall for it

Florida and Jersey would refuse to believe that English was a real language, when Louisiana came along, he too refused to believe it was real, Jersey was never able to convince Del that it wasn’t real but he was close

York and Jersey were inseparable when Jersey first met Mass and Penn, Jersey couldn’t really understood the English they spoke because accents so York acted as a sort of translator, translating English to different sounding English

I'll be honest, I could probably make this list way way longer but I think this is long enough, might do another list to get more of these down
