The bees, they just flock to him and he does not care if they could “kill” him, they are FUZZY!!!! (Also yes the bee is the state insect, love those pesky things here)

Just imagine, it’s 2am, your just going into the kitchen to grab something to drink before going back to or going to bed. You enter the kitchen and see Jersey and idk Loui maybe, just talking, ‘cept Jersey is straight up speaking tongues and Loui is acting like he understands what is being said (he doesn’t). Just slowly back away without being noticed and decide to never go into the kitchen again at night.

Meanwhile Jersey was just talking about how the strawberry poptart ia aids and the cookies and cream one is the best, looking like absolute death cause of how exhausted he is lol (he is not responsible for whatever he says when tired, it’s nearly started multiple wars at once so when he is tired the states just take whatever he says with a grain of salt smaller than an atom)

Yesyes he loves his babyes and whenever someone even thinks about trying to tell him otherwise…well…they don’t 😊

I picture him to have like- reddish-brown hair like Mass since in my AU they’re twins, but his hair is more on the brown side.

I have Jersey headcanons and gosh darn it, it's a tad long, so I'm only doing like one page at a time, I'll post the other ones later probably...if I remember. ANYWAY HERE!!

New Jersey

Constantly moving, either tapping his foot or moving his legs, always dancing too, if there’s music he’s moving

He also tends to sing whatever song is on his mind, whether it’s English or not

He knows all of the states comfort foods

Controls the entire StateHouse garden, and is the reason there is a flower garden, if you want a flower in that garden you talk to him to figure out where said flower needs to go and what conditions it needs

He and New Mexico managed to convince Gov to let them have a pool at the StateHouse

When he was learning the south’s comfort foods, he managed to convince Texas to teach him how to make a brisket, yes it’s not really any of the south’s comfort food but it’s a southern thing so of course he needed to learn

When angry he’ll switch into different accents, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, and surprisingly to some, southern

South Jersey is pretty southern, one of his comfort foods is grits

When he hosts NE dinner at his home, he makes sure to add in dishes that are shared favorites

Any and all produce that can be grown in NJ climate, is grown in his back garden with all the accommodation they need

Mafia boss, he doesn’t partake anymore and technically the guy he was is dead but still, the power remains

Used to be a show boy, occasionally still is with Nevada

Just mildly obsessed with roller coasters

During the summer, if he’s not at the shore then he’s most likely at Great Adventure

While it’s not his favorite game, he LOVES to play Just Dance

His room is actually in the south hall instead of the north, he’s between Texas and Oklahoma, he switched with New Mexico because he would have had to be between Penn and Mass and he would rather die than be between that warzone

Has lots of animals on his farm but his favorite are his horses, a few of which he was given by Kentucky

Taught Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio how to play poker and blackjack, the only thing is, is that Jersey taught them how to cheat without them knowing

Jersey never actually cheats in card and money games, he just knows how to play

Stopped talking to Nevada in the 80s because of Atlantic City, Nevada understood it was because they were rivals and also the mafia but it doesn’t stop Jersey from feeling bad about it

Despite what everyone tends to think, Jersey likes to keep to himself and is relativity quiet for the most part, it just so happens that he is normally around people that he either likes (NY, NM, NH, Cali, Rhode, Del) or has strong feelings about (Mass, Penn, NY, Connecticut, Virginia), which makes him loud

Y’all we had an earthquake, what a lovely thing to be greeted by when just wanted to shift positions to go back to sleep.

Time to think the whole day that the train going by is an earthquake (that’s assuming that the trainlines continue to run today, we aren’t built for this).

Went Ice Skating (Gone Wrong?)

HEYYYOOOOO, so yesterday and today I went ice skating with my friend Sofia, and its been really fun, I liked the place we went to today more than the other one. I ended up falling maybe 10 minutes before Public Skating ended. Hit my face, nose bled, busted lip, and the funny thing is, is that if I can, I'm going back tomorrow, which I find hilarious.

Did skating today really go wrong? Eh not really, I had a ton of fun and sure it hurt like a BITCH but honestly thinking back it was kinda funny, first time using hockey skates and it's only at the end where I end up wiping out, I just ended up going a bit too fast for my skill (up until yesterday I hadn't skated in like 6 years) and y'know, now I know for tomorrow (if we do end up going that is).

At least I know now for a fact that I am FAR better at hockey skates than I am at figure skates LOLZ

Honestly this didn't start out as my favorite but I gotta say, this drawing has suddenly grown on me, besides is Rado, the BOY!! I think it's his face, the way I draw him is just squish lol

NJ is so pissed that NY is an inch taller and NY knows it :)

It’s fine tho cuz NJ messes with NY all the time and only stops if he goes too far or if Mass or Connie walk in

When NJ first saw NY’s process of making flower crowns with roses, he was lowkey kinda concerned cuz he saw that NY ended hurting himself with the thorns when removing them from the stem, so he taught them how to do it safely so that NY didn’t hurt themself 😭

Mess with one, you mess with the other. I don’t recommend messing with either one.

NY loves play fighting, but especially with NJ. Even though NJ is afraid of hurting him (one of NJ’s greatest fears is hurting someone he loves <3)

NJ spoke (speaks) a lot for NY when NY couldn’t speak English or was too anxious and/or overstimulated to speak. He still does it. He’s the best big brother (after Mass) that York could ask for.

Whilst NY likes pigeons, NJ likes crows. So they both take walks with their bird friends :] NJ 100% gets along with Kraai (NY’s crow friend that I gave him a while ago)

If NJ thinks that NY is being over-confident or if NY is trying to appear intimidating (he’s not-), he’ll sneak up on NY, wrap his arms around him, and start giving him hair pets and head scritches and he ends up reducing NY to a puddle of sleepy purring adorableness. Then he has a problem cuz NY falls asleep on NJ and NJ wouldn’t DARE to move.
