this is going to tie into a self-indulgent post i’m working on but i think that the pla protagonist would choose to go back. i’m in the minority(?) thinking that lucas/dawn does NOT experience amnesia (for the longing angst) and that they’d eventually go back using arceus’ help as barry and whoever isn’t chosen is anxiously searching for them.
after readjusting to the modern life, i think the pla protag would pursue a career in sinnoh history now that they have first hand experience
if the pla protagonist goes home or not, they suffer either way. lose the friends they made in hisui, or be forever trapped in the past.
sorry for the reblog spam i REALLY like pokeprotags
my designs for timeskip versions of brendan and may (specifically oras) may's the champion and brendan is a professor !!
hey guys??? did we forget about guzma?? guzma? guys?
Listen I know the gimmick of getting isekai'd into the past also includes amnesia. But I just think it would be incredibly funny if a British boy and Spanish girl got sent into past France and immediately decided to use the opportunity for clout

The trailer where they revealed red and blue for alola was SO unnecessarily dramatic. truly a staple of pokémon pop culture if you ask me. they were totally waiting for gay marriage to get legalized in the US to drop that one
