Actually, here's a drawing I did plan on doing for Varian's Birthday but I didn't end up finishing it. It was basically a redraw version of one of the omori photographs. I started to many projects at once so I didn't end up finishing it 😅

So Book of Life, ABSOLUTE KING OF CINEMA!!! Words aren't enough to describe my love fir this and all the fucking references to Latinan culture (La Muerte is my queen... but here me out on Xibalba-) and I just love the humor and animation (by GOD the animation chat) and wrisbesb3jejdbepawhdjebso!!!!

Maya and the Three... I'm ashamed to admit I pushed it off as a stupid, cheesy kids show trying to cash in on my culture (feel free to burn me at the stake for that) but when I watched it- HOLY FUCK WHEN I WATCHED IT!!!!! Words aren't enough... but I'm sure as fuck gonna try

First, the characters. I can't with these goddamn characters, especially with their traumatic backstories in the beginning of each episode! These writers are after my own heart. Plus the way that the animation would go outa frame during the fights, the fucking voice acting! I just- I can't, I don't wanna cry.

I wish I could say more but I kinda have a mountain of algebra homework to burn through unfortunately.... BUT I SHALL RETURN, DONT YOU WORRY!!!

Hugo birthday idea

I imagine that there would be an episode where Hugo would be explaining that he never really celebrated his birthday and doesn’t know an exact date and when Yong hears this he makes it his goal to throw Hugo the best party. Eventually the day would end with everyone covered in cake and something caught on fire.

dialogue ending idea:

Yong: Hugo, I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean this to happen, I really didn’t. I really ruined your birthday.

Hugo: woah, slow down their kid. Ruined? Seriously? This has been the best birthday I’ve ever had, well the only one, but still!

Yong: really?

Hugo: really. I mean, I get to have the satisfaction of seeing goggles covered in cake,

Varian: hilarious… (sarcastically)

Hugo: and I get to set off explosions with my favourite little menace? If that’s not a perfect birthday I don’t know what is.

literally have spent like half of my day today just screaming about mitsuba and kou from the newest Hanako kun episode. I luv them so much, a true picture perfect arc.

the most annoying thing about being an artist is half the time you have no ideas what to draw but you also have a billion ideas of what to draw it’s just you aren’t bothered to draw those ideas but at the same time you want to draw.

I haven’t decided what dragon design I want for Hugo’s dragon yet, this was just something I made on the spot based off little features I want. :)

Random vat7k thought for the day

something that I feel like would be incredibly interesting if Vat7k did become real is that I feel like parts of Ulla's journal should be animated as kind of old fashioned memories. Like throughout the main story maybe certain episodes have short cuts of Varian reading out the journal and they animate it. (Kind of like how in the Owl House philips journal was animated, but like more animation but keeping the old tones).

Like I imagine that maybe once Varian runs through the portal after finding out hugo was working for Donella the episode would end there and then the next episode would be Donella talking about her past with Ulla. She would probably talk about growing up as childhood friends with Ulla and everything.

Thats just what I think at least :)

(oh and this is my 100th post, cool)

I can’t listen to songs like ‘ready as I’ll ever be’ or ‘nothing left to loose’ from tangled the series without having to get up and act out the whole thing.

like, my art room at school has this loft section and it will basically be just me jamming out to ‘nothing left to loose’ because I can gaze down the railings and stuff (basically perfect acting space)
