DSAFtober & Cringetober Days 5&6: Neko, Oranges&Aubergine

I didn’t skip a day, Day 4 is on my instagram linked in my About Me. But this day especially was a lot of fun and a bit challenging. Especially since I don’t really draw cats all to often. I’m definitely improving with this new pixel style with every piece I draw.

I think even once the month is over I’ll still continue doing the prompts until I finish the list, that sounds fun :]

Rosetta is a fluffy orchid/spiny mantis and is based off a stilt walker. She also has an abdomen but it’s just not included in the ref.

I imagine before entering the virtual world she was a single mother and now treats the other characters kinda like her children because it just feels right, even if she doesn’t know why.

DSAFtober Day 1: Sign the Contract

Figuring out how to shade with my pixel brush!! It’s so fun to use and easy to color line art. Really enjoying using it :] can’t believe I was so hesitant to use it at first. Just goes to show, experimenting in style every once in a while might be worthwhile.
