“You act as if you’re obsessed with me, Jake,” you point out, eyes playfully rolling back at him, the absolute bane of your parent’s existence, your boyfriend.

The dim lighting of the empty corridor only does justice to Jake Sim as he glows, hair slicked back in his all black suit that made him look like Lucifer himself. And it’s utterly ironic, how he tempts you like a sinner then treats you like an angel.

“I am though,” he grins, not a single hint of embarrassment evident in his voice, “sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night screaming your name.” It’s a whisper, yet it’s loud as his words resonate in your chest, sending chills down your spine.

He bends down, your back plastered against the cool marble wall of the fancy hotel that you should know the name of, yet everything is fuzzy as you come face to face with Jake. His effect on you is everlasting, just like it was when you first met him.

Out of the many rules imposed on you, one was written in bold, highlighted in fluorescent, and drilled into your mind — never ever befriend or even talk to a Sim. They’re rude and manipulative, taking every single opportunity to drain you dry for their own gains.

“Jake,” you whine, pushing him away with great effort before glancing around to see if anyone was watching. Jake thinks he might go insane just looking at you, swollen lips and pretty face as you stare at him in slight disappointment — but how could he ever control the urge to kiss his pretty girl.

You watch in adoration as you observe your Hufflepuff!boyfriend, Jake Sim, retreat off of his quidditch broom with a slight hop added to his step; subconsciously bumping his best friend’s fist out of triumph—all regards of his cheeky smile directed towards the quidditch match that he had won against the opposing Slytherin team.

“My love!” Jake calls out to you sweetly before pressing a quick peck to your cheek. “Please tell me you saw me catch the snitch…” he continues enthusiastically and a bit worried.

You had been so entranced by his bright eyes and by the sheer after glow of his match that shimmered across his smooth skin that you realized you hadn’t uttered a single word to your anticipating boyfriend.

Shaking your head, you zone yourself back into reality, gripping firmly onto your boyfriend’s big arms. “Of course I saw, Jakey! You did so amazing out there as always, my love.”

The boy intertwines his hand with yours as he begins walking with you out of the quidditch field bounds. “Mm, you may say that…but your wondering eyes during the match tell me something different.” Jake remarks. “Something been on your mind, Y/n? Anything you wanna tell me?”

Reaching up to cup his cheeks, you soothe your thumbs up and down his cheekbones. “Common now, Sim. You really wanna know?” you ask with a sigh. Jake doesn’t respond but you can tell that he’s itching for an answer.

Shoto needs you to be gentle with him, especially after suffering years of abuse from his father and his complicated relationship with his mother. The poor thing just needs love. Out of all the characters, I honestly see him as the one most in need of affection—a definite little spoon. Even if you raise your voice at him, just the slightest bit during a disagreement, his different colored eyes go all sad. Be gentle with the poor thing.

He really enjoys the feeling of your hands in his two toned hair, so he’ll lay down on your lap while you rub his head. He’s very patient and sweet, but he also gets his feelings hurt very easily—not by most people, just by you, so you have to be careful with his emotions because he has a tender heart.

He needs physical touch—he likes to be held tightly in his sleep. He enjoys feeling compressed against you. His favorite position is when you're behind him, his back facing your chest, with your arms tightly around his waist and your face buried in the back of his neck.This position is perfect for both of you because you can hear each other’s hearts beating due to the proximity. It helps drown out his thoughts. Also screw blankets because due to his quirk his body is really warm (at least the left side anyway).

He likes to buy you things. Every type of love language—physical touch, gift giving, acts of kindness, quality time, and acts of service—he loves them all, both giving and receiving. He needs to be able to spend time with you. A great example of quality time is when he specifically used his name to pull strings after becoming a pro hero, getting you on his crew because he didn’t want to be away from you. Since he knew he wouldn’t be home often, he’d rather be away with you, that way he never really had to be away from home because you are his home, in a way.

He always tells you how pretty you are, how much he loves you, and how much you light up his world and make him happy. Ever since you got into a relationship, the boy smiles so much more.

He also needs words of reassurance because he gets insecure. He’ll buy you presents randomly—necklaces, bracelets, simple but cute ones with both of your initials on them.

He doesn’t like you buying expensive things for him because it makes him feel guilty, but it means a lot to him when you buy him chocolate and treats he likes. He has a soft spot for sweets, and it’s nice to see him excited. He usually appears so monotone, but when he’s excited over you, it’s obvious.

He loves you more than anything, and every action, every little gesture, is a reflection of that.

with a contented sigh, you rolled over onto your back, gazing up at the afternoon sky.

‘aren’t clouds crazy?’ you murmured to the brown-haired boy sat next to you on the gingham picnic blanket. ‘like seriously, there are huge clusters of frozen crystals floating around up there and we’re just going about our lives paying no attention whatsoever,’ when no response followed, you propped yourself up on your elbows to look directly at him.

‘paying no… attention… at all…’ you watched him carefully. he sat not three feet away from where you lay, legs crossed and eyes glued to his phone screen. your words had clearly fallen short of reaching him in any capacity.

‘hey, earth to jungwon? hello???’ you punctuated the words with a prod to his knee.

finally, jungwon looked up. he blinked. ‘huh? oh, sorry, yeah, clouds,’ he scratched his head as he fumbled for the right words. ‘they’re… they’re pretty fluffy-looking. i think i’d quite like to pet a cloud,’ he offered.

another soft blink from those expectant doe eyes, and you had to fight back a smile tugging at your lips. despite giving this resistance your very best effort, you failed.

‘thank you for your insightful contribution to this intellectual discussion,’ you teased, causing his cheeks to flush slightly. ‘what, exactly, is occuring on your phone that’s that more interesting than clouds, then?’

‘erm… well, you.’

his cheeks reddened even more. you shot him a puzzled look. ‘ “me”? how d’you mean?’

in place of a response jungwon simply turned his phone towards you, showing you your own recent instagram post from earlier that day. he smiled shyly down at you.

‘you know, you’re much prettier than a cloud.’

you groaned at the sappy comment, covering your face with your hands, before eventually letting out a little laugh, deciding to embrace the ridiculousness of the whole conversation. ‘i wish i was a cloud,’ you joked.

‘i don’t,’ he pouted, leaning down towards you ever so slightly. ‘i don’t reckon i get to make out with a cloud, you know.’

now it was your turn to blush. ‘oh uh, no, i guess not. i hadn’t really thought about that…’ your voice trailed off as jungwon leaned in further still until his nose almost brushed yours.

‘i’m thinking about it,’ he murmured. before you could come up with a reply he pressed his lips to yours. your lips parted instinctively, moving to kissing him back.

all of a sudden you heard a faint shout from a voice you thought you recognised, and not a second later something came crashing into the side of your leg with force.

the two of you broke out of your kiss abruptly as you let out a surprised cry.

‘hey, watch it!’ jungwon shouted out to the figure jogging over to the two of you.

‘jesus, sorry!’ panted jake as he reached you, stooping to retrieve the rogue football from the picnic blanket. ‘sorry, sorry!! niki booted that one way too hard, totally lost control! i did call out to warn you but you must’ve not heard me,’ he looked down at you, face full of concern. ‘y/n, are you alright?’

sitting up, you nodded. ‘yeah i’m all good,’ you replied. relieved, the boy’s face relaxed.

‘you gotta be more careful jake, you could’ve actually hurt her,’ warned jungwon.

‘i know, i know, it was my bad.’ jake tugged the hair at the nape of his neck, clearly feeling awkward about his blunder.

‘don’t sweat it jake, really. i’m fine, won’s fine,’ you smiled reassuringly at your friend. ‘so no hard done.’ he shot you a grateful smile back, his anxiety seeming to dissipate.

‘y’know, i was gonna come over earlier to see if you guys wanted to join me and niki for a game but you guys looked kinda, uh… busy,’ he grinned sheepishly.

you rolled your eyes, and jungwon groaned, ‘ugh, get out of here already jake!!’

with a wink, and still grinning boyishly, jake turned tail and began to jog away again. after only a few paces however, a thought struck him, and he turned back, about to call your name out again, only to see that the pair of you had wasted absolutely no time at all picking up right where you left off. chuckling to himself, he let the thought go, and headed back.

‘are they gonna come join?’ niki asked as jake approached.

‘nah,’ jake shook his head, smiling. ‘head in the clouds, the pair of them, honestly.’
