The rain hit against the glass of the window, and the kitchen filled with the noises of the weather outside. Small puffs of air escaped your lips as you buried your head further into your lover, Jungwon’s chest. Your nose was met by the aroma of honey with a tinge of cinnamon, and as you lingered in his arms, the warmth of his skin allowed the scent you loved so dearly to pervade the air. His delicate but loving hold on your waist held your clingy form against his as you both swayed to his tunes.

Slight vibrations could be felt against your cheek coming from his chest. His humming and vocals filled your ears as you closed your eyes, the subtle melodies of Taylor Swift’s lover abruptly entering the sweet atmosphere. The dim light of the open refrigerator to the right of the kitchen allowed you to turn your face away from the warmth of the other and catch a glimpse of a few of his features that had been concealed by the night's deep shadows.

His eyes were closed, and a few strands of his hair hung messily around his forehead as his plump, pearly-pink lips parted as he sang. His eyelashes were as long as ever, and the light delightfully bounced off of them. His slender nose had the slightest bump at the top of the nasal bridge, and the shadows that roamed around the room shaded the structure of his jawline perfectly. It was times like this where you fell in love with him all over again.

"Are you okay?” The melodies that were once heard are long gone and have since been replaced by the dulcet tones of Jungwon's voice. As he drew your frame closer to his, he spoke with words that were dripping with care and concern.

Nodding, you let out a small sigh. As the warmth of his breath hit against your skin, your heart began to beat faster by the second, and the feeling soon replaced itself with the sweet sensation of a peck against your cheek.

Letting out a small giggle, you looked up at Jungwon, his eyes meeting yours almost immediately. His hands were moving from your waist now to your cheeks as he held your face in his hands, admiring your features. He stared at you with his eyes gleaming with such love and astonishment before bending down and pressing his lips against yours.

The kiss was sweet and tender, and the pace was slow and genuine, as it always was. The slight flavor of his cherry lip balm, which he had applied just an hour earlier, was long gone. His lips, which were now formerly covered in vanilla ice cream, entwined with yours.

Pulling away from the kiss, Jungwon stayed admiring the moment you two just shared; his eyes remained closed as a small smile placed itself amongst his lips. As he slowly opened his eyes to reveal you, the pad of his thumb made gentle, loving strokes against your cheek.

“What was that for?” You asked, smiling at your boyfriend, whom you loved so dearly.

“Because I love you.”

You've been sitting in your car for twenty minutes, trying to get yourself to stop crying. One hand covers your mouth, quieting your sobs while the other gently rubs your tiny baby bump. You're fourteen weeks pregnant, and you just found out what you and Chan are having.

Your phone vibrates in your vehicle's cup holder, seeing Chan's name on the screen. You wipe your tears and take a deep breath before answering his call.

“Hey, baby,” you greet him, smiling to yourself.

“Hi, my baby,” Chan's voice makes your heart flutter. “Have you made it to the studio yet? How did the appointment go? I'm sorry I couldn't go with you.”

You giggle and lean back against the seat, turning your head to look out the window. “It's okay, baby. I forgot you had a schedule this morning. It went well. I have another sonogram photo to show you,” you inform him on how it went, leaving out the part where you learned whether your baby’s a girl or a boy.

“That's good. I can't wait to see our bean,” he giggles into the receiver, making you giggle as well. “We're just about to start filming, so I wanted to let you know that you're free to come in. I gave your name to security.”

You turn your vehicle off, feeling yourself calmer after talking to your boyfriend. “Okay, baby. I just pulled in, so I'll be there in a few. I love you,” you smooch.

“I love you so much. As soon as I have a free moment, I'm kissing you,” he mentions, having missed his morning kisses due to both of you being busy.

You're walking towards the building, and you shake your head. “I'm not going to complain,” you laugh, bidding him goodbye.

You slip your phone into your back pocket, giving the guard your name. He lets you in without any trouble, thankfully, and you make your way towards the room they're recording in.

When you finally reach the place Chan and Felix are in, you notice that they've already started recording. You look through the window of the door, seeing your boyfriend sitting cross-legged on the floor with the twins in his lap.

Tears pool in your eyes as you gently rub your belly, thinking of how it'll be when she's born. “Is this what parent life will look like?” You ask no one in particular, taking a quick glance down at your barely noticeable bump.

You chew on your lip as you walk into the room, the squeals of the girls reaching your ears. Chan's eyes meet yours, and he smiles at you fondly.

You wave at him before crossing your arms over your chest. Felix and Chan's manager grabs a chair for you to sit in, knowing that you're pregnant. You thank Skijigi quietly and take a seat.

The recording didn't last much longer, the two boys having a snack with the twins before they headed out. You stay in your seat when Chan walks over to you, greeting you with a kiss.

“Have you been crying?” He asks, noticing the redness around your eyes. His fingertips gently stroke your skin, a frown etching onto his lips.

“I can't get anything past you, can I?” You chuckle, shaking your head. Chan shakes his head as well, looking around to see the staff slowly filtering out. “It's nothing bad, I promise.”

Your hand grabs his, intertwining your fingers together before squeezing his hand. “The baby's okay?” He asks, stroking the back of your hand.

“Yes, absolutely,” you tell him, standing up from your chair. You bring your conjoined hands to your stomach, letting him feel your bump. “She is doing fantastic.”

His head snaps up, a gasp leaving his plump lips. “She? We're having a girl?” Chan whispers, his hands moving to your waist. “Are we really having a baby girl?”

Tears pool in both of your eyes, and you nod your head, confirming. “We're gonna have a little girl,” you cry out, laughing as you do. “You're going to be such a wonderful girl dad.”

Your fingers stroke his cheek, smiling up at him as you wipe his tears. Chan's lip quivers, bringing you into his chest. “I can't believe we're gonna have a girl,” he sniffles, gliding his hands on your lower back. “I hope she looks just like you.”

You pull back enough to look at him, smiling softly. “I hope she has your smile and dimples,” you giggle, leaning on your toes to kiss his lips.

“I can't wait to tell the kids,” he laughs, pressing chaste kisses on your lips. “They were so convinced that we'll have a boy.”

You burst out laughing, combing your fingers through his hair. “Let's go prove them wrong,” you wink, pulling away from him completely. Chan swiftly grabs your hand as the two of you walk out of the room together.

“After we tell them you want to get dinner?” He asks, kissing the back of your conjoined hands.

Your heart flutters in your chest, nodding your head, yes. “I'd love to, baby,” you grin, leaning your head on his arm. “I love you.”

Chan kisses your head and squeezes your hand. “I love you, baby.”

chan fell in love the moment you smiled at him. it’s like a treasure that he would always want to keep and a sight that he would always want to see. he would do everything to see that pretty smile on your face. the way your teeth peek in between your lips or even if it’s a simple smile, his heart can’t rest. one smile from you will brighten up his day for sure. by doing small things such as tucking your hair behind your ears or wiping your lips from the excess food, a smile would creep on them which makes him giggle in return. a compliment will urge you to show that sweet gesture, anything that chan has in mind just to make you smile. 

“you know what,” he said. “what?” you asked, taking a napkin from the small box. “you shine when you smile,” he said, making you flustered in return. 

𝗟𝗘𝗘 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 — when you’re driving  

you passed the driving test and got your driver’s license recently. thanks to minho who managed to keep his patience from teaching you how to drive, it all ended up worth it. he was happy when you were screaming in excitement the moment you entered your shared apartment—and as for rewarding you, he decided to let you drive his car. it was very unusual of him but you promised you’ll do a good job. he finds it hot even when you were still practicing, the thought of you raising the speed and running past through some cars on the road, or even playing with the wheel and setting the roof back on its trunk when you use his convertible. only a smirk would plaster his face seeing how well he did to train you. your boyfriend could only relax on the passenger’s seat. 

𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗕𝗜𝗡 — when you do stretching 

work has been tough for you and changbin during the past few days—him coming home late at night and ending up seeing you do a few stretches on your seat while working on something on the laptop. one of the most common practices is having your back straightened with your arms pointing upward and tilting your head from side to side for neck exercise. a smirk surfaces on his lips before he could wrap his arms around your waist, to kiss your cheek, surprising you every time. “take it easy, love,” he would whisper and start to massage your shoulders. “you look so good stretching,” he chuckled and ended up being cuddled by you, in a few seconds after being flustered.

kisses are normal with you and hyunjin but it would feel different every time when you are the one who makes the first move. random kisses are often given or exchanged yet it happens at most unexpected times or places. just like how you pinned him on the wall for once because you were madly drunk and he wasn’t. you pulled his tie to move him closer while your order hand rested on the wall. he was left dumbfounded and tensed on the spot, it was something hot and bold for you to make. hyunjin didn’t hesitate to have his hands around your waist, pulling you closer as he deepened the kiss, tasting all the drinks you consumed a few moments earlier. 

𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗝𝗜𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗚 — laughing at his jokes

your boyfriend gives corny jokes sometimes and you know that. maybe they are not funny all the time but they manage to end up being witty. it wasn’t only about his jokes but how he reacts after, his laugh is contagious which causes you to laugh with him in the end. they were good enough to have you cackle while smacking a pillow resting on your laugh. jisung would take that opportunity to hear you laugh and watch you as if you are the most beautiful person on earth. you wouldn’t understand how his heart raced every time even if you would deny how you hate your laugh sometimes. but to him, it is one of the reasons why he loves you. 

𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗫 — when you play with his dog 

felix would always tag his golden retriever friend when he has the opportunity to do so. whether he makes it stay in their dorm or in their dressing room, it was always you who take care of it when he’s not available. the pooch was friendly enough to tackle you on the ground, lick your cheeks when he gets happy, or even play fetch, the little guy became fond of you. every time felix comes back from the schedule, he would always find you cuddling with the dog. sometimes urging the baby talks and complimenting it had his heart melt in awe. he knew he chose the right person, and felix couldn’t help but to fall for you even harder. 

𝗦𝗘𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗠𝗜𝗡 — when you sit on his lap

seungmin isn’t the type to engage skinship all the time but he had this thing with you. every time he takes a sit on the couch or on your shared bed, he’d call you up to sit on his lap, facing him. sometimes it happens randomly that he doesn’t need to tell you anymore. it all started when he came home late one night and was so exhausted from practice that you had to check if he was alright. his head fell rested on the backrest of your shared couch while staring at the ceiling, his body wanted cuddles at least and that’s why you came up sitting on his lap to hug him. he flinched the first time you did it but all he did was to blush and hugged you back, burying his face on your shoulder, leaving a kiss on it. your boyfriend couldn’t help but smile, plus you were also wearing one of his shirts.

as you step slowly into the room you see the light shining through the door from the bathroom

As soon as Chan set foot inside your apartment, you were quick to pull him in for a hug, clutching his shirt tightly in your fist. He didn't need you to say anything- he could immediately sense that you had a bad day.

Wordlessly, Chan bent down, picking you up as your legs wrapped around his waist. He moved to the closest couch where he sat you both down. There, he pulled you to his chest once again, rubbing soothing circles on your back.

"You're okay?" he asks softly, and you shake your head no.

"It's okay, you don't always need to feel good. It's normal to have a bad day. You've been working so hard, my love. It's okay to let it all out," he reassures, and you tighten your hold on him, tears falling freely from your eyes at his words.

"You did well today, baby. You did so well," he soothes, his gentle voice making a familiar warmth spread in your chest. "Thank you for waking up. Thank you for getting through the day. Thank you for breathing."

"It was so hard, Chan," you choke out a sob, and he shushes you quietly, rocking you in place back and forth.

"But you did it. You are home, and I'm with you. It's over now, yeah?" he reassures, planting a sweet kiss on your temple. You wrap your arms around his waist, further sinking into his comforting hold.

"I'm proud of you, I'm so proud of you. Always will be," he leans away a bit from you so he'd be able to look at your face. You know he's telling the truth- you can feel the love he has for you through his shining eyes.

"You hear me? As long as we're existing, then I'm proud of you. No matter what."

in reality, as soon as heeseung noticed the makeup artist who insulted you to your face, he instantly remembered how she made you cry last week and couldn’t stand the idea of having to see you hurt again

“heeseung!” you giggled quietly, as if you were reprimanding him for the PDA that made you shy, but the hand you brought up to his neck said otherwise.

“you’re too pretty to be a robot.” he declared, as if that made absolute sense, kissing your cheek before getting up to get back to the photoshoot, “coming!” leaving you blushing in your seat.

sometimes, if he can, he’ll try resolving conflicts so that you don’t have to.

even though he knows you’re better at arguing than him or more persuasive than him.

if he knows the friend who’s not agreeing with you, he’ll offer to talk to them so you don’t have to.

even if you say no he’s probably going to act so different around that friend or vaguely mention that you were trying to do the right thing to where they would know he’s on your side anyway, always.

jay;

if you asked jay if he was protective over you, he would probably say something like, “yeah, sure.”

but if you asked anyone else who knew him, it would be an ABSOLUTELY!!!

it’s second nature to jay to physically protect you.

whether that be through standing on the outside of the sidewalk so you’re not too close to the street;

or literally feeding you food from his chopsticks when he feels like you didn’t eat enough;

it’s so natural for him to be close to you and nurture you that he doesn’t even realize what he’s doing when he gets up just to move his chair at the restaurant next to yours.

“yah! she’s not gonna run away from you!” sunghoon teases him from across the table.

you laugh and jay’s just like ? “why would she run away from me?”

“you didn’t need to move your chair so much closer to hers.” sunoo laughs too.

jay just shrugs, “she was too far. right babe?” he turns to look at you, placing his hand on your thigh under the table and caressing it, like he always does.

you smile and resist the urge to kiss him. “right, baby.”

despite the fact that he should be grateful you didn’t kiss jay on the spot, sunoo cringes at how adorable and smiley you two are, right in front of his salad. “eww…”

jake;

jake is such a loyal guardian puppy boy that he’s always being protective over you in the way he hovers.

because creeps don’t even want to think about approaching you when jake is always touching or holding you somehow, hanging onto every word you say and laughing a little too hard at your half-assed jokes.

but if you’re feeling upset or sick, and jake can’t necessarily be bright and giggly, you’ll notice the intensity of his love for you and the protectiveness that follows.

even though he knows and loves the fact that you can take care of yourself, you won’t be lifting a finger as long as he can help it.

usually you’d go visit him at the dorm late at night when he’s finally free from his schedule, waiting on the couch with whoever else was there until he appeared

but if you had just been released from surgery, jake expected you to be knocked out at home and was planning on going to visit you instead.

“ahhh!!” jake practically screamed when he saw you chilling on the couch with jungwon, as if there weren’t a 8% chance you wouldn’t have survived the surgery (you tried to tell him it was a tiny number, but that didn’t stop him from freaking out). “what are you doing here?!”

“nice to see you too,” you laughed.

“oh my-“ jake rushed over and grabbed your face, kissing your forehead quickly, “god, baby, you should be lying down.” he kept kissing all over your face, overwhelmed with how incredibly relieved and concerned he felt at the same time.

“i feel fine!” you laughed, long and slow, and jake noticed something was off. “i’m still under some anesthesia sooo…” you tried to reassure him, but it only sent him into overdrive.

in no time, jake carried you off the couch, kicked his roommate out, lay you down on his bed, fed you dinner you both didn’t even realize he was capable of making, and gave you a massage until you fell asleep.

he continued squeezing and kissing your shoulders even after you were asleep, glasses on and phone in hand as he googled the best way to take care of someone who had just gone through your surgery.

because if you weren’t going to be gentle with yourself, at least he was going to be.

and god help anyone who tried to enter the room or be louder than a single decibel…

sunghoon;

sunghoon is a free-spirited person, a free-spirited friend, and a free-spirited lover. he has always been independent and loved your independence as well

which is why it was shocking to see the way a switch flipped in him whenever he sensed you were uncomfortable, or in danger

“what is it?” sunghoon asked worriedly, as he saw you frown over your phone for what felt like the 100th time that day

“it’s just… you remember what I told you about that guy from class?”

“is he bothering you?” the stern tone he asked this with alone made you feel protected

he rubbed your back soothingly as he took your phone from your hand, scrolling through hundreds of creepy messages from the classmate who had been harassing you

when his caller id appeared, sunghoon didn’t even think twice before answering, “hello.”

“did you change your voice?” the boy stupidly asked. “i know this is your number. you can’t hide.”

hearing that pissed sunghoon off so much. he couldn’t stand knowing that someone was stalking you to where you felt fear, and like you couldn’t escape them.

sunghoon would do anything to make sure you always felt safe, which was part of why he immediately got up and stepped outside to finish the phone call, not wanting you to hear the aggression in his tone.

you would never find out what sunghoon had said to him. he didn’t want you to know— that’s just how he rolled. all you knew was that whatever he had said was so powerful that you never saw the boy ever again. anywhere. he had even dropped out of school.

“please tell me if anyone ever causes you trouble, okay?” sunghoon made you promise.

jungwon;

jungwon is someone who greatly appreciates things like manners and propriety, which is why it was almost amusing to witness him throw all respect for someone out the window the moment they hurt you.

“you’re not sitting there.” jungwon said to the man who had taken a seat on the opposite side of you in the waiting room of a music show. jungwon knew he was pushing it by saying that to someone older than him, who he worked with, but he didn’t really give a shit if he knew they were scaring you.

“excuse me?” the man asked. “who are you to tell me where to sit?”

jungwon was incredibly rarely the type to do any form of PDA, but he instinctually wrapped his arm around your shoulder and pulled you into his chest.

“who are you to be a creep towards every girl you work with?” he retorted without hesitation.

the man had no choice but to grumble and leave, knowing it wasn’t a good idea to piss off the leader of the group he was working with, but little did he know it was wayyy too late. jungwon decided right then and there that the man was done.

you were so afraid of the man that you were still shaking after he got up and left, and jungwon was surprised by the intensity of your reaction. it broke his heart and made him tear up a little as he held you. he had a feeling you didn’t feel comfortable telling him the full reason why the man scared you, but he never pushed you to tell him.

jungwon rubbed his hand up and down your arm, pressing a long kiss to your hair and whispering, “you’re okay, i’m here,” until you stopped shaking.

he did not hesitate to get that man fired with his leader card the second he had the chance to speak to the managers, to say the least.

sunoo;

sunoo can and will end a motherfucker for you.

he’s not afraid to speak his mind, but especially when it comes to you.

however, his first priority is to validate you and wipe that frown off your face.

you sat across him at a cafe explaining what your so-called friend had said about you with tears streaming down your face, and sunoo was nothing but gentle as he squeezed both your hands in his, thoroughly listening to every word you said

“i’m so sorry he said that to you. you’re amazing and he’s stupid.” sunoo’s praise of you and insults of your ex-friend made you laugh. “he wouldn’t know how to do your job even if he had five years of experience. he’s an idiot. and he looks like squidward.”

you giggled. “he does kind of look like squidward…”

sunoo reached up to wipe your tears away with his thumb, pausing a bit to stare at you. “ugh. he wishes he had even 2% of your beauty.” he was being sassy, but he meant it.

you laughed again, forgetting all about your ex-friend the more you hung out with sunoo

and if you let him, sunoo would lovee to say all those things to that guy’s face. but only if you let him. (please let him.)

niki;

niki can be compulsive when it comes to you

as opposed to sunoo, who wouldn’t say anything unless you let him, niki will be throwing hands as soon as he finds out something happened to you.

okay, maybe he won’t always literally fight someone, but he will not think twice about confronting your manager himself if he notices you’re being overworked, or telling your friends their offensive jokes aren’t fucking funny.

he’ll even tell his own friends that, and he won’t care if they’re older than him if they’re talking shit about you.

“hey, stop talking about her like that.” niki said, the second he heard some trainee friends having the audacity to objectify and complain about you in the same sentence. “that’s my girlfriend.”

“and? your girlfriend’s hot, but she’s a fucking bitch sometimes.”

they should NOT have said that.

if jay hadn’t entered the room moments later, it would have been a lot more difficult for him to lie to you about his knuckles being red from exercising with a punching bag.

you didn’t even know niki wasn’t friends with those guys anymore until you saw them on the street a couple months later.

you pointed at them openly, “hey, isn’t that—“

niki grabbed the hand you were pointing with. “don’t point at people, it’s rude.”

“but aren’t those your friends?”

“no.” as they got closer, niki glared at them and subconsciously squeezed your hand tighter.

for a moment, his jaw had set, he started seeing red again as he remembered what they said about you, and he genuinely thought about hurting them again until—

“ow, hey, you’re gonna crush my fingers!”

niki was so angry that he didn’t realize how hard he was squeezing your hand. he immediately turned to you and brought your hand up to his lips. “i’m sorry.”

you paused a bit, stunned by how unlike himself he was being “it’s… okay…”

niki pat your head, deciding then and there that he not only had to protect you from other people, but from himself, as well
