if you've been with me since the beginning of this sm au, you know exactly just how much I've loved and enjoyed yet also struggled to work on this beautiful piece. It's definitely the one smau which took me the longest, mostly because life got in the way and i kept taking breaks in between but also because the pressure got to me at the end and i will gladly admit that. at the end of the day, i'm just human and i'm a writer, i'm someone who tried to cope using literature snd writing and when things got too much in all aspects of life, i just couldnt pour as much of my heart into this smau as i had initially intended to.

regardless of everything that has happened towards the end, i hope you guys still enjoyed it very much and mostly i hope you all know just how much i love and appreciate you all. the ammount of love, support but also immense patience i've received is something i will forever cherish and keep close to my heart. you guys are the best and i genuinely can't wait to start new journeys with you all by my side.

“You comfy?” Jungwon asked as you hugged his side, nuzzling your face in his neck. You nodded as you inhaled his scent, the familiarity making you feel more warmth than the blankets over your bodies. “Thanks for letting me stay over,” you mumble.

Earlier you'd gone to your boyfriend's place to do some homework, but you hadn't anticipated the thunderstorm. Concerned about the flooded streets, your parents sent you a text advising that it would be safer for you to stay with Jungwon for the night. You two had cuddled multiple times before, but you'd never actually spent the night at each other's places. So, needless to say, your boyfriend was being all nervous because he wanted you to be as comfortable as possible.

He'd lent you some sweatpants and a hoodie for you to sleep in instead of your clothes, and he could've sworn he fell more in love with you by seeing you engulfed in his clothing.

You two had decided to watch a movie since it was still relatively early, bringing you closer to him a few minutes into the film. You could hear his heartbeat as you rested your head on his chest, the soft thumping bringing you peace. His hands gently playing with your hair and him occasionally leaning down to leave a kiss on the top of your head was something you loved.

You looked up to see him facing the screen. Silently, you scanned his features, from his fluffy hair down to his rosy lips. Bringing up a hand to brush his bangs away from his eyes, you smiled in thought, “Sunghoon’s right, you really do look like a cat.”

“He told you that?!” Jungwon groaned, embarrassed. You laughed at his reaction, running your hands through his hair to reassure him that it wasn't a bad thing. “Why are you embarrassed? Cats are cute!”

Letting out a whine, he buried his face into your neck, hiding the blush on his face from you indirectly calling him cute. You wrapped your arms around him, pulling him closer and letting him rest his head on your chest. Now more confident, Jungwon hugged your waist, feeling comfortable in your embrace.

Usually, he'd be the one cuddling you, but for once he didn’t fight it and let himself be cuddled instead. He liked the warmth you provided, the smell of your body wash- inhaling the scent and closing his eyes, he allowed himself to relax. You felt like home to him.

“You should spend the night more often,” he mumbled tiredly, “I want to stay like this forever.” Now it was your turn to lean down and give the top of his head a kiss, noticing how he hugged you tighter as he made himself comfortable. “Me too,” you ran your hands through his hair.

Jungwon let out a yawn, but kept fighting himself about sleeping. “You can sleep Wonnie; I’ll still be here when you wake up.” He looked up at you and lifted his pinkie in front of you, “Promise?” Chuckling at his childish act, you connected your pinkie with his, “I promise. Now go to sleep, I know you’re tired.”

You lulled him to sleep by playing with his hair and occasionally rubbing his back softly. “Won?” you whispered when he felt heavier on you, “Jungwon? Did you fall asleep?” The little snores that escaped his lips were enough to answer your question. Biting back a smile, you adjusted the covers on both of you, making sure you were equally covered.

You pressed a kiss onto his cheek, feeling sleepy yourself before whispering, "Good night, love."

“whoa, today was quite a day,” sunoo brushed his hair back with his hand. moving away his bangs as he put a headband on. he glanced at you in the mirror, a smile quietly forming on his lips as he watched you wearing your own headband, “how was your day?”

“i'm beat,” you put just the right amount of toothpaste on your brush. your eyes caught sunoo's in the mirror, “it was fun, a little absurd, but fun.”

his smile grew bigger as he watched you brush your teeth, “oh, really? tell me about it!” sunoo picked up his own toothbrush and started brushing his own.

you took your time to brush your teeth while sunoo patiently waiting for your answer with a smile on his face, “i accidentally met my old friends on the way home,” you said after you spit out your toothpaste. you wiped your mouth and excitedly continued, “apparently one of them moved not so far from here, and they asked me to come to have a housewarming party with them. i'm not even that close with them, it was really awkward and a soul-sucking moment. gosh, it was totally t—”

out of the blue, sunoo abruptly kissed your cheek. leaving a tiny toothpaste foam on it. he was smiling from ear to ear.

you gasped, “WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!” you touched your cheek, jokingly annoyed by the kiss. though, it's actually woke up a lot of butterflies in your stomach.

sunoo laughed thrilled at your reaction. he washed his mouth and his toothbrush before putting it on the glass next to yours, “oh my god, you're so cute.”

“excuse me?” you asked as if you were offended by his words but you couldn't hide the redness on your cheeks and ears.

sunoo obviously noticed your flustered face. he was grinning as his soft hands went to cup your face, “i said you're cute,” he giggled before giving a peck on your lips, you could smell the mint from toothpaste he used before, “and you're so pretty,” he left another peck on your lips, “and i love you soooo much,” sunoo put his lips on yours once again. but this time it lasts a little bit longer.

you didn't know how to react, so you just stood there totally giving in to his touch as he pampered you with kisses. maybe it's by the rule for sunoo to kiss you at least three times before going to bed.

Your eyes were covered by Heeseungs large hands. He told you he had a surprise for you. He wouldn't disclose what the surprise was though. You didn't expect the cold outside air to hit your face. Your nose scrunched up as you shivered from the sudden chill.

Your boyfriend uncovered your eyes. "You can look now, angel." He whispered in your ear.

In front of you was the city of Seoul covered in white. Your eyes widened, seeing snow for the first time. Quickly, you covered your mouth with both your hands. Snow had fallen while you were at Heeseungs house and you hadn't even noticed. You were way to busy hanging out with your boyfriend to realize that the moment you had waited for all your life had finally come to fruition.

Small flakes were still falling from the sky, some landing on you. You held your hands out to catch the cold snow. Hands wrapped around your waist from behind as you felt a warm breath on your cheek.

"Isn't it beautiful, Seungie?" You giggled, showing him the snowflakes you had caught.

"Not nearly as beautiful as you." He said, kissing your cheek gently.

Jay led you out of the apartment building, holding your hand. He had told you not to look so your eyes were closed and your free hand covered your eyes. You heard a door open and cold air engulfed you.

"Hurry up or it's going to melt." He said sarcastically. You tilted your head in confusion. You felt hands wrap around your waist from behind, making your cheeks red not just from the cold.

"Is it raining?" You asked as what felt like a raindrop landed on your cheek. Jay laughed from behind you.

"Even better. Open your eyes." You did as you were told and removed your hand from your eyes.

Your lips parted as you took in the sight in front of you. The city was covered in pretty white snow. You put your hands up to catch the falling snow. It was more pretty in person than seeing it in pictures.

"Once you're done looking, let's go inside and I'll make hot chocolate. We can drink it on the balcony and watch the snow."

Your door slammed open, causing you to flinch. In the doorway stood your boyfriend, Jake, wearing a huge grin.

"Isn't this so cool!?" Jake squealed, skipping around in the snow. You laughed in response to his childish behavior. He stopped in front of you and grabbed your cold hands. "I'm so glad I get to show you snow for the first time."

"Come on we're gonna be late." Sunghoon yelled from the doorway as you quickly tied your shoes. Sunghoon still hadn't told you where you were off to. Whenever you would ask he would say it was a surprise.

When you got into his car, he handed you an eye mask, insisting you wear it until you arrive. You reluctantly put the mask over your eyes with a huff.

The car stopped and Sunghoon hopped out of the car, running over to your side and opening your door. The two of you walked a few feet- Sunghoon holding your hand to guide you.

Light flooded your vision the second you took off the mask. The city was covered in perfect white snow. In front of you was a skating rink. You looked up at the snow still falling from the fluffy clouds above. Cold flakes landed on your face making you giggle.

"I've always wanted to see snow, Sunghoon." You turned to your boyfriend, squeezing his hand gently. He smiled at your excited expression, his favorite sight in the entire world.

"I've always wanted to take you to see snow, princess." He brought your hand up to kiss it. "I knew you would love it."

Once you were outside, you realized exactly why he wanted to capture this moment. Snow was falling in the city of Seoul. The fluffy snow covered the city from the streets to the tops of the buildings. You smiled brightly as the tiny snowflakes landed on your head.

You turned around to face Sunoo as you pointed at the city. "Am I seeing this properly!? It's so pretty!" You said in awe. He laughed at how cute your excitement was.

Sunoo walked up to you putting an arm around your waist. He began showing you the pictures he took of you. Your nose was red from the cold and your hair was slightly messy from the gentle wind. Snowflakes rested on top of your head.

"I've taken many pictures of snow, but none as beautiful as these." Sunoo claimed, staring at you with stars in his eyes. "You make any picture beautiful because you're the prettiest girl I know." You smiled at his words and rested your head on his shoulder.

"You're not gonna believe it. This is the best surprise yet." Jungwon giggled as he pulled you by your hands. He had a surprise for you that he was supposed to wait to show you until the boys arrived but your boyfriend couldn't help himself. "Wonnie, can you tell me why we have to go outside though?" You asked. You're eyes were closed- Jungwon being your only source of navigation.

"Well if I tell you, it won't be a surprise anymore." He explained. You could tell he was pouting from the tone in his voice.

The sound of the door opening rang through your ears before you were hit with a gust of cold air.

"Wonnie, it's cold. Why is the surprise outside?" You whined, pulling your hands away to wrap around your body.

"Then I'll warm you up. Open your eyes now." His arms wrapped around you from behind. When you opened your eyes layers of white snow were covering the city. You looked up with stars in your eyes, watching as the tiny specks of snow fell.

You turned to face Jungwon who had a big smile on his face, showing off his cute dimples. "Just don't tell the boys I showed you the snow without them." He said while laughing.

Niki had asked you to come to the store with him so you quickly complied. You loved walking around the city with your boyfriend. Today was slightly different though.

He wrapped his brown leather jacket around your shoulders. His hand slithered around your waist as he led you outside. You saw a small smile tug at the corner of his lips. You wondered what that could be about.

"Hey, Ki, what store are we going to?" You asked curiously. You held onto his large jacket to prevent it from falling off your petite shoulders.

"You'll see." He responded briefly.

The cold air made you shiver as soon as the door was opened. Outside it was bright and everything seemed to be covered in white. Snow. It was beautiful fluffy snow.

You were quick to cover your face as you gasped at the sight in front of you. The snow crunched under your feet as you hopped around, giggling like a little kid.

"It's snowing, Ki! Look!" You squealed, staring up at him with a wide grin.

"I know. We were never going to the store. I just wanted to show you the snow for the first time." Niki said quietly before pulling you by your waist to kiss your cheek.

“hey, you okay?” jake asked when he saw your empty eyes. he shifted his attention from the group's conversation to your tired face.

you blinked, “huh? uh, yeah,” you tried to smile assuring him. but his eyebrow frowned, he started to caress your hand.

“do you feel sick?” his fingers found their way to hold your hand, “is the headache coming back?” now his soft hand is on your forehead, trying to check your temperature.

“no, i'm just a little tired,” you said with another smile, “thank you for worrying me, jake.”

“are you sure?” he scanned your eyes as he caress your hair, “you do feel a little too warm.”

“jake, i'm fine,” you look at him right in the eyes, “i might be in need of a kiss, though.”

you feel his chest rise and deflate against your head as he lets an overly dramatic sigh.

you knew tsukishima kei wasn’t one for pda. hell, it was one of the things you loved about him. he knew how to make you feel loved without having to scream it to the world.

like that one time on one of your first dates, when you had accidentally fallen asleep on the soft grass of the park while waiting for his weekend practice to end. you woke up with a hand massaging your scalp.

“how long have you been waiting there?” you giggle, rising from your slumber as you rub your eyes awake. he pulls away, casually avoiding your gaze. “why didn’t you wake me?”

kei only shrugs, “you looked peaceful.”

or that other time you got sick for a week and couldn’t make it to school, so he immediately visited you as soon as you got better and brought his backpack with him.

“i got two copies of all the homeworks due next week, so you don’t have to ask the teachers for them.” he unpacks his notes and fishes out two pens from his bag before turning to you. “come, i’ll teach you everything you missed.”

your teachers praised you for how responsible you were, and told you how much they appreciated that you took the initiative to study.

or like right now, and all the other nights you’ve spent at his place. because unbeknownst to you, tsukishima kei sets up his bedroom every single time you visit. he tidies up, cleaning even spots that you would never think to look at. but most importantly, and tsukishima knows this routine by heart, he turns the a/c to the highest setting so you’d be forced to cuddle against him underneath his sheets.

“the former,” is all replies with, and you scoff, rolling your eyes.

“but seriously though. how lucky are we to never have fought even after seven months.”

tsukki sighs again, before reluctantly revealing, “we don’t fight because i make it a point to always agree with you.”

you’re taken aback by his words, sitting up slightly as you look him in the eyes, though his are still closed as he tries to focus on sleeping.

“...huh?”

“idiot,” he teases. maybe he thinks calling you names will cover up for how unbelievably sweet he’s being right now, “why would i want to argue with you?” he shifts, trying to subtly move his face away so you don’t see him fully.

“but i can’t always have my way, you know. a relationship should be 50/50, right?”

“not ours.” he presses your head back against his chest, and you hear his heartbeat fasten a little. “you’re the boss.”

at your very random question, jungwon turned to you, giving you a funny look as he furrowed his brows.

“baby,” he started, taking his hand and placing it on your leg, caressing his thumb softly over your lower thigh. “what kind of question—“

“i know it might sound weird, but just answer the question,” you said, trying to sound serious as you tried to hold back a smile.

laughs only escaped his lips, but you tried your best to remain strong and serious, furrowing your brows at him, “it’s not funny.”

“sorry,” he started, “but it’s really funny.”

you pouted, looking at him as angrily as you could make out without bursting into a fit of uncontrollable laughter.

“aw,” jungwon began again, feigning sadness, “is my little wormie sad?”

“no, but imagine,” you started, suddenly back to as excited about the idea as when you first brought up the question, “what if we were both two little worms, right?”

he looked at you, very skeptical before he nodded slightly for you to continue.

“we’d be—love worms,” you finished, followed by a fit of giggles.

“y/n,” your boyfriend groaned. “seriously? that was so bad.”

you acted offended at his statement as your jaw dropped dramatically.

“fine,” you replied. “but—okay—if we were two little worms though, you know what i would call you?”

he gave you a displeased look before letting you continue, acting as if he wasn’t looking forward to the answer you had for him.

“jung-worm.”

there was a silence that somehow came out to ironically feel very loud before you let out a fit of giggles that you unsuccessfully contained.

“okay,” jungwon ‘fake laughed,’ “i think that’s enough bad jokes and dumb questions for the day.”

he began standing up, about to walk away.

“don’t pretend as if you don’t enjoy it,” you said playfully. “i know you love it.”

“no,” he said, stopping in his tracks, “no, they were quite terrible to say the least.”

he turned around and you waited for him as he continued after letting out a small chuckle, “but you know—even if it meant hearing all these worm jokes from you every day—i’d still choose you any day, in any form, because i guess i just love you that much.”

“thanks, wonie,“ you giggled “—i mean—wormie.”

he rolled his eyes jokingly before coming to you and placing a short kiss to your lips, pulling away with a smile, “shut up.”
