hi!! i just got this sweet boy (his name is Oscar) a few days ago and im curious about him. he's got solid gray on most of his spots, but has a faint stripe by his eye and some on his tail! he's also got some funky skin pigmentation going on i find personally interesting; he has a black nose, pink ears, and mid-tone pink/gray beans on all his toes

He’s a dashing blue (solid) and white van Domestic Shorthair. I love his cheeks and his tummy looks soft as a lamb!

“Ghost” markings on the extremities are very common and more easily visible on the dilute colors, like blue, so that’s what you’re seeing here - although sometimes it can be tricky with high white cats if they don’t have enough good markings elsewhere to compare!

They’re also more noticeable in youngsters and may become less distinctive with age.

His nose looks dark gray and the stark pink areas of flesh are where the white spotting paints over the base color, the dark toe beans are consistent with a blue cat
