Girl help, I’m falling into another obscure interest that absolutely nobody knows about!

Hello, hi! This is the main cast of a personal project of mine I’ve been working on called Dream Along With Me! They’re from a childrens’ tv show that served as a series of bedtime stories as told by puppets in the 70′s and 80′s! Something in the shadows starts twisting their story into a nightmarish limbo however, and they find themselves facing off the void, or much worse. The story will follow (in order of appearance): Archie Aster, Mister Dream Maker and his living Shadow Mae Flowers the Rainbow Goblin Early Early Oxenfree the Soothsaying Trickster Honeybell the Counting Sheep Darling Fiona the Wayward Siren Teddy O’Stara the Merrymaker Magician and Mufflin Mallow the Big Rock Candy Dragon I’ll be making mostly content of them on here and across my social media in various mediums just because drawing them and working on their story brings me great joy :o) I hope you enjoy them too!

I know it’s not hard to point out reactionaries hypocrisy when it comes to like safe spaces or hug boxes or whatever but genuinely how much of an echo chamber do you have to exist in for you to think this is a reasonable thing to say

genuinely i love infinite i think he's extremely well executed for what he is. his character is so perfectly portrayed (ramble incoming!) Infinite is the "loser who masks his insecurities with big power" done PERFECTLY. hell, he wears a literal MASK to seem big and strong. he shouts i am not weak and he MEANS it. he talks in this overly pretentious tone to come off as badass. his theme song has him proclaim himself to be not only the tallest of mountains, the roughest of waves, AND the toughest of terrors, but also the darkest of days. he repeatedly states his power is without peer. but you wanna know the most fascinating part of his egotism? throughout most of the game he's using the Phantom Ruby to create copies of Metal Sonic, Shadow, Chaos, and Zavok. but during the siege of Capital City during Operation Big Wave, he specifically sieges the city with these giant golems of himself. there are like 10 or 11 of them throughout Capital City's runtime as a level. and then he gets absolutely wrecked by sonic, another sonic, and a character he described as a trembling child. it's so so good.

The only time the neighbors can 'wake up' during the night is when Home controls them. But it seems Julie somehow took control herself while this happened.

However, when Home's arms leave the hand puppets again so does their energy. Without a puppeteer they fall asleep again...

WHAT?? WHO WROTE THIS REPORT?

i'm convinced part of the reason a lot of people misinterpret ford's character is because they can't conceive that the twins were raised different

stan was the runt of the family, the failure, he got kicked out and strayed off the path in an effort to make up for his mistakes, to regain the family he lost, his story is tragic but easy to understand and digest, the link between his upbringing and his life is clear

ford on the other hand was the golden boy, the ticket out, he was the one responsible for the ultimate success of the family and he was praised non stop and raised to unattainable heights, he has spent his entire life chasing that same height after he lost it in college, that's why he's so mad at stan, he ruined that success twice, he made ford fail, and ford is not allowed to fail

i feel like it's harder for people who haven't gone through similar things to get ford's character, yes he's arrogant yes he thinks he's the smartest man in the room, can you blame him? he needs to be! it has been drilled into him from the very start that if he is not enough the fate of his entire family (and later the entire universe) is on his shoulders, his personal failings are equivalent to worlds collapsing, he needs to be the best because if he's not he's nothing

so when bill comes along and promises him everything, promises to make him the very best he can be and fix all that is wrong, can you blame ford for trusting him? for being manipulated? in his mind he had literally no other choice

ford and stan are two sides of the same broken family, they're both trying to fix the same mistakes in opposite ways, stan by proving he's not the worst, ford by showing he has always been the best
