Kokichi and Kaito are brothers and it was erased from their memories for the killing game because if Kaito remembered growing up with Kokichi; Kokichi's antagonist role wouldn't work well

Texan Shuichi.

He's still Japanese but grew up in Texas and moved back to Japan when he was like 13/14 so he has an accent he just desperately tries to hide
