Sorry for the lack of art guys! Who knew that the beginning of the year would be so busy? 😩 I'm trying to get back into a groove of drawing everyday, starting with yesterday's Cognitive Drawing exercise: draw a flexing man from memory (no references). How do y'all think I did? 🔹 Honestly I feel like I'm looking at one of my high school drawings. Not that bad, but not that great either. Let's see how much I learn with the next exercises yeah? 😁

Here's a WIP of what I've been working on this past week for my Illustration class. 🔷 This assignment is another collage, using very detailed life drawings from a specific book. I've taken images that I liked, collaged them together, photocopied them, then used a special marker to transfer the images on to Bristol paper. (Looks like magic, no? 😆) 🔷 I haven't drawn anything yet, but I plan to later. I haven't been feeling that great, so I think I'll go get some more rest. Hope you enjoy!

Finished my self-portrait! I’ll admit I made a mistake when I colored in the skin tones on the original, so I edited it in Photoshop. (2nd pic is original drawing) I need better skin tone colored markers… But that aside, I’m pretty proud of it. This was also my first attempt at coloring hair in a different style than I usually do, and I’m liking it a lot better. Again, this is part of a bigger piece that I wanted to do; I’m making a Meet The Artist page and drawing myself in my style is a big part of it. (*cough* spoilers.
