I recently drew this maneki neko cat that I bought on a cat fair it was so hard , it took me 2 failed attempts to finally get it right but here it is ✨ btw if this is your first time seeing a post from me I don’t only draw realistically I also do stylized drawings and even cute cartoons so if you might be interested check it out
This is one of the three drawings in a series that I made some time ago, I will post the other 2 soon and possibly make more, creating them was a challenge because they are full body drawings and not just portraits with tons of detail and different textures but I wanted to try something new. I wanted to draw women who wear baggy and oversized clothes because I like to dress like this and I don’t see women like me represented in art enough so these drawings mean a lot to me

To celebrate the year of the snake, I wanted to combine the snake with my other favorite scaled animal, the goldfish! Growing up as little kid in China, I was always fascinated by the goldfish and koi ponds that are scattered in every park and apartment complex. I would stare at them for hours, mesmerized by their shiny scales and graceful movements. Hopefully I was able to capture that in this painting :D

Mesmerizing fluorite on quartz with 3 visible generations.
The 1st gen has blue color with green zoning, and 2nd gen is a light purple layer that formed the purple edges of the main cubes, and the 3rd gen are baby fluorite cubes with cute purple windows.
