When he explains his nightmare to Katniss, he tells her they're mostly about her and he's okay when he knows she's safe. I don't believe him. Based on his paintings, I think his nightmares are a lot more often like hers than he lets on But Katniss completely bases her self worth on how much she can provide for others. SO I think Peeta tells one lie in the moment to tell the bigger truth: Her existence is enough.

I've seen a lot of people with tags like this, and that is wonderful! Please do what you can. If you cannot do everything, that is completely fine! Some people are not able to call off of work or get out of school. Some people can't stop buying things, and that's all ok.

So I reread the jabber jay scene and the scene after to draw this

and holy shit I'll never get over how much of Peeta's dialogue and character got cut in the movies

Most of his role in these scenes was cut entirely or given to Johanna of all people?? (love Johanna, I just think it's kinda funny)

I wonder if part of it is because Peeta notices and cares about the details and the movies cut out most of said details lmao

I’ve heard some people complain about them changing Fiyero’s introduction scene, and I get that, but I LOVED it!

Changing it from a very public meeting with Elphaba to a 1 on 1 meeting made it so, instead of him trying to make the crowd laugh (at her expense), he was trying to make HER laugh which is so so good imo

I realized we never got to see Finnick in an outfit he would have chosen for himself :(

I think he would like "grandpa" style clothes: -Comfortable and loose-fitting -Warm, soft colors -Fun but cozy patterns
