Another affirmation: Sometimes, by asking someone to help you, you actually make them happy. Because they know that you trust them, that you trust their knowledge and abilities. Because they know you aren't struggling alone.
"People are inherently selfish--" wrong. People crave being helpful. They get sad and feel unfulfilled and unwanted when they're not allowed to be helpful. Especially when it comes to those closest to them.

posts that make you go "wait why was Abu in Hercules"
like God knows us inside and out, yeah? He knows the things we love and the character traits we have and the weird things we do and whatnot? and so maybe you're hopping on leaves playing the floor is lava secretly even though you're a grown adult and if people knew what you were doing they'd like, scoff, but God is watching and He's smiling!!! He's going "aww I'm so glad they're enjoying those leaves and this nice weather and they're so cute when they do that"!!!!
and like. how amazing is it that we little pebbles down here are cared about so much by GOD that the little things we little pebbles do make Him smile and light up and be so glad He made us :)
isn't it amazing how we can bring God joy?
posts that make you go "wait they hired a person each and every single time they needed an animal to make animal noises in a cartoon? don't they have a soundboard for that yet?"
posts that make you go "wait why was Abu in Hercules"
You don't have to know exactly what you're feeling or experiencing. You're allowed to give it your own interpretation or take a best guess. You're allowed to simply leave it undefined. Whatever works best for you.
okay the big one that I guess I only mentioned in the tags is how WILD would it be if I could search through my likes? Or like when I searched on tumblr there was a filter of "Your Likes" that would narrow down the results
because the amount of times I've been like "oh I have the PERFECT thing to show you" from something I never expected to come up and subsequently never reblogged / tagged
...and color coding, that could be fun though I very much understand why that's not a thing
you know how AWESOME it would be if tumblr let me like. make folders n stuff? like here is where I put all my writing posts so you only see them if you click on the folder. here are the sorting methods I use for my liked posts. can I tag them without reblogging? so I can access them later without cluttering up my blog? tumblr staff are you listening?
