As a rule of thumb, don't reblog donation posts or people asking for donations unless they've been vetted and reblogged by Palestinian bloggers. We usually go to lengths to verify this shit because we know scammers have been faking to get people to send them money, using the urgency of our genocide as bait.

It's disgusting this is what we're dealing with, but people are losing money because of some truly evil people out there.

Accounts don't just randomly spring up on tumblr without gofundmes while asking for someone to help them create a campaign. Fuck out of here with that shit.

They look like how it feels to walk across a parking lot on a 98° summer day without a speck of shade in sight.

They look like heaven but also like you'd burn your bare feet on the ground.

Even when you can see shade you know it's not enough and the minute you step out you'll be burnt to a crisp like a vampire.

Khadija Al-Habil (@girlquee) and Yousef Al-Habil (@saveyouseffamily) are a lovely couple who truly love and care for each other.

They also have the cutest baby named Majd! He is their pride and joy. Like any loving parent, they will do everything to keep him happy, healthy, and safe. (I would protect him, too, even though I'm not a parent! 🥺)

Unfortunately, while the airstrikes have destroyed their home and everything they love, Majd suffers the most. Not only his initial exposure to the world is the constant fear and horror, but he is chronically ill with a severe respiratory illness (AND he recently got an eye infection from a bug bite!)

Khadija and Yousef have shared the latest update, as well: Majd has a chest infection, and he is currently in the hospital in the due to the lack of oxygen. The poor baby has to use an oxygen tank. But this is only a temporary solution. Khadija, Majd, and Yousef need to evacuate NOW!

The air is NOT safe for Majd and his tiny lungs!

I am not going to ask anymore. I DEMAND you to donate. Even as little as £5 can help this beautiful family. You may think it is not enough, but trust me, it is enough. I have contributed £5, too!

Khadija and Yousef would also be happy with it! It is BETTER than nothing. If you are unable to donate, then reblog and share. Spread it far and wide. Make it like wildfire. It is the least you can do. You owe them (and the people of Palestine) this much.

Getting back into drawing in my sketchbook more often with some fan art of a webcomic I've been reading!

This drawing specifically was for an art group I'm a part of. The prompt this week was "tropical," so I drew Marina in a wrap-around skirt with a bunch of hibiscus flowers on it!

Hey guys, life and work issues keep piling up for me, and I realized I'm not doing well mentally atm.

So, I decided to take a break from uploading new comic pages until things have gotten better, or until I'm in a better headspace

The comic's gonna go on hiatus for one month, so it'll be back on July 14.

Hopefully, I should be doing better again by then.

I'm gonna keep asks open just in case, but I won't be drawing much for them.

I know it is very bitter sweet, but this is the end of Reconnecting. Thank you all for coming along on this journey with me. I plan on making a behind the scenes video on my YT sometime soon. Feel free to send any asks you have I want to answer them all!

Please know I am not going to dissapear! I still plan on making content consistently, and my original comic RULE 5 is already underway, and if you’d like I’m certainly not against writing some exposition fics for Reconnecting 💜
