‘Labours.’

Calex - Alex Cabot x Casey Novak.

It was official. Alexandra Cabot was dead. Casey had seen to it, who put it on the front page.

They have fifteen minutes; Casey couldn’t help but yearn for their wasted hours. Tracing each other outline, converting dreams to memories. Freckled arms weaved behind the other woman’s neck. The blondes hips pressed firmly against her body as they swayed, clad in university sweats, jerseys and blood stained power suits. Casey had changed the blondes bandage when they arrived here, they picked her up at the office - Alex had packed alone. A hotel on the outskirts of Manhattan waiting for Alex’s ride to arrive. Destination unknown, future undetermined.

It could be years and that thought alone makes Alex feel deathly ill, her chin resting upon the redheads jaw. Claw clipped hair resting against upon her shoulder, the metal teeth grazing against her flesh with every turn of Casey neck.

“This is not the last time we will see each other.” Alex promised, her mouth hot against the other woman’s ear. All but risking the blush of her skin against her lips. The blondes eyes fell heavy, Casey’s back flush against her chest. Her knees drooping towards the ground. “However it may be the last time I am greeted with this.” Another sigh followed as a hand creeped around the back of her throat, pulling them closer.

“I can wait.” Casey vowed, red curls pushing into the taller woman’s view. The heady sent of vanilla clinging to her shoulders. Alex couldn’t help but reach forward, burying her face within Casey’s hair. Fingers scratching at the roots of red.

“I would never wish such purgatory on you.” Alex sighed, turning to kiss upon the shell of her ear.

“There is something in knowing you care.” Casey snarked tilting out her head. Bearing the span of her neck towards the other woman. The divination of teeth, fresh indentation upon skin the moment it became available to her. Yet she did not kiss nor bite, merely skimmed her lips along the surface. As though to trace the composition of her chest.

“I cannot promise the better parts of me after this. I am temperamental at best, I do not wish to know myself without of you.” Alex confessed her mouth finally pressing down to kiss at the notch of Caseys collarbone.

Casey was all but panting as her hand rose to grasp the windowsill. Fingering running back to grasp the blondes hair, tugging the head back promptly - switching their gaze. Casey frowning over her shoulder.

“The worst parts of you are the very best of me.” Casey stated, her gaze suddenly stone as she turned to gently pecked at the blondes cheek. Alex’s hands wandering down the trail of her arms, tracing the freckles which littered the path to her fingertips. “Do not allow these labours to affect how you know, you feel about me. How I feel about you. I could not bear it Alexandra. There is not a moment of you unglorified by me.”

“I fear I must love you.” The blonde admitted the brief glimpse of ache passing across her features. Her hands shifting to grasp the redheads face. “and I curse those that allowed me to, I will never be the same.”

“Allow me this.” The redhead begged, her thumb brushing against the hair at the back of her lovers neck. Their chins suddenly pressed together as Alex reached to a hand full of flesh, pressing them against the window. Casey shivered lightly at the fresh condensate that glazed her flesh as the linen of shirt stuck to the glass.

One hand pressed beside her head, nails flexing against the damp glass, the sleeves of Alex’s Harvard sweatshirt brushing against the apple of her cheeks. Casey’s thigh rising to wrap around Alex’s waist. The other woman’s gasped against her open lips, each argument between breaths.

“Tell me.” Alex smirked against her lips, a hand wrapped along the underside of Casey’s jaw. Her flesh was cool to touch, but the heated glow of her approaching arousal bloomed beneath her fingers as the pressed dents into her skin.

The redhead grimaced lightly, a moan cutting through tension promptly as Alex tightened her grip upon her arse. Alex paused for a moment drawing back, the drop of her bottom lip grazing against Casey’s. The redheads tongue darting out to gently sooth along her own, dampening their frustration.

“Tell me.” Alex whispered, giggling gently at the swoon of Casey’s body as she stepped into her, cupping the back of her head, lips just threatening to touch her. The redhead whined in anticipation, frowning at the blonde, they didn’t have time to fool around. Alex was leaving.

“In fear of misinterpretation.” The blonde cleared her throat, tiling her head slightly pressing their foreheads together, till each word painted upon Casey’s. “Tell me baby.”

“Kiss—-“ Casey gasped out, the blondes lips plucked at the edge of her own. “Kiss me.”

A knock at the door.

The silence followed.

Apparently she’s asleep and i havr to talk to myself 🧍🏻‍♀️ hehehehee
