Jason Todd and Percy Jackson are the same in the important ways(Miles and Gwen moment)but people miss important ends of spectrums they're on when doing crossovers.Which are 1)The point of Jason's story is he's a self-made tragedy who hurt a lot of people and had to get over himself and own up to it and change and not be coddled and to his credit he textually hates that last part and the point of Percy's story is she's never done anything wrong but everyone treats her like a monster yet she never falls into darkness as she's too aware of what it looks like to ever do that to herself and 2)Jason is transmasc-coded and Percy is transfem-coded.And i think that's a lot more interesting and in-character of a relathionship for them than them as 'bros' and 'stanning eachother' tbh.Fun but responsible popular pastel punk mom friend and Bad influence but good friend goth older brother dynamic
