Israel's Deliberate Starvation of Palestinians in Gaza & its effects on Children

Palestinian children have begun starving to death in Gaza, where the United Nations has warned a famine is "almost inevitable." Israel, which has been attacking Gaza by air, land and sea for five months, is not allowing water, food, medicine, fuel and electricity to be delivered to the blockaded territory. Approximately 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza are now struggling to survive — not just in escaping death amid constant Israeli bombardments and ground assaults, which have killed over 30,000 people, but also in trying to access enough food and water in order to stay alive amid dire humanitarian conditions caused by Israel’s total blockade. 700,000 Palestinians are currently facing the threat of severe hunger, and a quarter of the population, or 576,000 people, are one step from famine – a direct result of Israel’s all-out war on the enclave.  Here is what you need to know about the hunger crisis, particularly among children, in Palestine's Gaza.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

i thought my laptop was on its last leg because it was running at six billion degrees and using 100% disk space at all times and then i turned off shadows and some other windows effects and it was immediately cured. i just did the same to my roommate's computer and its performance issues were also immediately cured. okay. i guess.

so i guess if you have creaky freezy windows 10/11 try searching "advanced system settings", go to performance settings, and uncheck "show shadows under windows" and anything else you don't want. hope that helps someone else.
