🌍✨ A Voice from Gaza: Fighting for Hope ❤️🩹
Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.
Our Journey So Far
When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
🏠 Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.
😢 Loss: The absence of the 25 family members we’ve lost is a pain we carry every moment.
💔 Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
$5 may seem small, but for us, it’s a little relief, a moment of comfort, and a reminder that kindness still exists. ❤️
Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.
Why Your Support Matters Your kindness isn’t just about helping us meet our goal—it’s about reminding us that we’re not alone in this fight. It’s about hope. It’s about survival. And it’s about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude,
Mosab and Family ❤️
amelie must have been used to men like Colt, right? it doesn’t take an Emilie of the world to know pompous, rude, arrogant men. they’ve crowded their father’s study since she was old enough to have that heavy mahogany door slammed in her face, once catching her finger in the jamb. on top of that, their father was one. they’re all over history, these evil-rooted men, and their caricatures riddle all of the books amelie reads—the irony there, however, is that they usually have a satisfyingly grim end. a comeuppance.
I think she’d learn quickly—too quickly—that was saved her all of those years under the GDV roof was her status as an heiress, a daughter, a backup to her sister, the rumors said. a wife, however? that’s owned. dowry, land, bonds, your allegiance and duty and subservience is no longer to a family with roots but a man with a fist and a lineage to build.
you can’t sell off your daughter with bruises mapping her body, but no one blinks when the wife blames her fatigue and soreness on pregnancy troubles, or when she wears long sleeved shirts. that’s modesty—what a good wife! the prized pig get sold to market.
so I think there’s an early version of amelie fathom who dared to talk back. who, thanks to her sister, knew how to quip. amelie is quick witted and sharp, after all. and I think that’s where my mind goes, that moment before she’s first hit. you never expect it, sometimes you’re ironically smiling, like you’ve actually won. and then your ear is ringing and there’s bile in your throat and if this is real, why isn’t she in her body anymore? weightless, floaty, like when her and emilie would hang their heads upside down from tree branches.
The Stranger has that quote like, the best thing the condemned can hope for is that the blade doesn’t fail the first time. I think she suffers that long, protracted death. I think a lot about that moment, the last one where she thinks she might be able to handle Colt.
this song is so ladrien coded i am NOT normal about these two
It probably says something that Adrien says that his father's pancakes were perfect. Now that he's dead and supposedly died defeating Monarch, he's beginning to idolize him.
