~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ashlynn:
- First Death (Tree): When the reader dies for the first time, Ashlynn is completely shattered. Her immediate response is disbelief, unable to comprehend the reality of it. She cradles the reader’s lifeless body, tears streaming down her face as she screams for help, her mind racing with the thought of how she couldn’t save them.
- Second Death (Aiden’s Sacrifice): When the reader dies again to save Aiden, Ashlynn’s grief turns into something much darker. She’s angry that the reader sacrificed themselves once more, furious at the universe for forcing them into that situation again. Ashlynn starts blaming everyone around her, even Aiden, for "taking" the reader away from her.
- Hospital Reaction: When they finally get the reader back in the real world, and she’s taken to the hospital, Ashlynn refuses to leave her side. She’s terrified that if she takes her eyes off the reader, they’ll slip away again. The relief that the reader is still alive is overshadowed by the obsessive need to protect her from any future harm, making her more possessive than ever.
Tyler:
- First Death (Tree): Tyler is frozen in place when the reader dies the first time. It takes him a moment to process, and then he’s overwhelmed with guilt. He feels like it should have been him—he should have protected her. His grief turns into self-blame, and he becomes consumed by thoughts of what he could have done differently.
- Second Death (Aiden’s Sacrifice): When the reader dies again, this time saving Aiden, Tyler completely breaks. The guilt from the first death is nothing compared to how he feels now. He becomes erratic, angry at himself for not being the one to die instead of her. Tyler feels helpless, like the universe is conspiring to take the reader from him repeatedly.
- Hospital Reaction: At the hospital, Tyler refuses to leave the reader’s bedside. He’s constantly watching her, terrified that something else will happen. His yandere tendencies intensify, and he becomes almost paranoid, wanting to shield her from everyone—even the rest of the group. He’s determined never to let her out of his sight again.
Taylor:
- First Death (Tree): Taylor is heartbroken when the reader dies the first time. She immediately becomes a mess of emotions, sobbing uncontrollably and lashing out at the Phantom World. She’s consumed by the need to undo what’s happened and tries to cling to any hope, even if it’s impossible.
- Second Death (Aiden’s Sacrifice): When the reader dies again, Taylor’s reaction is even more chaotic. Her grief turns into a frantic desperation to "save" the reader somehow. She’s constantly talking about finding a way to keep the reader alive, as if it’s something she can fix. She becomes consumed by the need to prevent another tragedy from happening.
- Hospital Reaction: Taylor is relieved when they return to the real world and find the reader alive in the hospital, but the trauma of losing her twice makes Taylor more obsessive. She clings to the reader constantly, trying to bring them gifts and stay by their side at all times. Her emotions become unpredictable—one moment she’s cheerful, and the next she’s panicking at the thought of losing them again.
Aiden:
- First Death (Tree): Aiden is numb with shock when the reader dies for the first time. His analytical mind tries to rationalize the situation, but it can’t. He feels an overwhelming sense of helplessness, knowing he couldn’t protect her. This helplessness transforms into an intense need to prevent anything like this from happening again.
- Second Death (Aiden’s Sacrifice): When the reader dies saving him, Aiden is devastated. He’s consumed by guilt, believing that her second death is his fault. The fact that she gave her life to save him breaks something inside of Aiden, making him more obsessive and controlling. He vows to never let the reader sacrifice herself for anyone again.
- Hospital Reaction: At the hospital, Aiden becomes overly protective, standing guard by her bedside. His calm demeanor is gone, replaced with a quiet but intense resolve. He monitors every aspect of her care, questioning the doctors and nurses at every turn. His possessiveness grows, and he becomes determined that no one will ever harm her again—not even herself.
Ben:
- First Death (Tree): Ben is silent when the reader dies the first time. He doesn’t show much outward emotion, but inside, he’s boiling with rage. He’s furious that something like this could happen and is already thinking about what he can do to prevent it from happening again.
- Second Death (Aiden’s Sacrifice): The second death hits Ben harder than the first. When the reader dies saving Aiden, his rage turns inward. He blames himself for not being able to protect her and becomes hyper-focused on ensuring her safety from that point on. Ben’s yandere tendencies evolve into an obsessive need to control every aspect of the reader’s life.
- Hospital Reaction: At the hospital, Ben is a silent but constant presence. He rarely leaves the reader’s side, his protective instincts on high alert. He’s colder and more distant with the rest of the group, focusing entirely on the reader’s well-being. Ben’s possessiveness grows, and he becomes determined to shield her from any future harm, no matter what.
Logan
- First Death (Tree): Logan is a wreck when the reader dies. His usual cheerful and kind nature is shattered, and he breaks down, sobbing uncontrollably. He can’t handle the pain of losing her and is consumed by the thought that he should have been able to protect her.
- Second Death (Aiden’s Sacrifice): When the reader dies a second time, Logan’s grief turns into desperation. He feels like the world is playing a cruel trick on them, taking her away repeatedly. He can’t understand why it keeps happening and becomes consumed by an obsessive need to protect her in the future, should she come back to them.
- Hospital Reaction: When they finally return to the real world and find the reader alive in the hospital, Logan is overjoyed but also terrified. He never leaves her side, constantly checking on her to make sure she’s okay. His yandere tendencies intensify, making him cling to her emotionally, unable to cope with the thought of losing her again.
Ashlynn (First Death):
Ashlynn cradled the reader in her arms, her voice trembling as she whispered, "Please, don’t leave me. You can’t leave me. I need you." Tears mingled with the rain as she held on tighter, as if refusing to let the world take the reader away. "I’ll never let anything hurt you again, I swear."
Tyler (Second Death):
Tyler screamed in agony as he watched the reader’s lifeless body fall to the ground after saving Aiden. "Why? Why did you have to go again?!" He pounded his fists against the crumbling walls of the Phantom World, his heart shattering into a thousand pieces. He would never forgive himself.
Aiden (Hospital):
Aiden sat by the reader’s bedside, his eyes glued to the monitors beeping rhythmically. "I’m so sorry," he whispered, his voice cracking. "It should’ve been me…Im sorry, I didnt- You shouldn't…im sorry…"
*The gang is left with deep emotional scars from watching the reader die not once, but twice. Their love for her turns obsessive, each member pushing their protective instincts to new extremes in their desperate attempts to keep her safe. Even as the reader recovers in the hospital, the trauma of her deaths will haunt them, fueling their yandere tendencies.
Taylor (First Death):
Taylor knelt beside the tree, her hands shaking as she reached out to touch the reader’s cold skin. "No, no, no..." she murmured, her voice cracking as tears blurred her vision. "This can’t be real. I’ll fix it. I’ll find a way to fix it. You can’t be gone, not like this." Her fingers gripped the reader’s hand tightly, as if she could pull them back from death with sheer willpower. "I’ll bring you back. I’ll do anything."
Ben (Second Death):
Ben stood silently at the foot of the hospital bed, his eyes fixed on the reader’s unconscious form. His expression was cold, but his mind was racing with thoughts of revenge and control. "I won’t let this happen again," he muttered under his breath, his hands clenched into fists. "You’ll never have to sacrifice yourself again, because I’ll make sure no one gets close enough to hurt you." His gaze darkened, his possessiveness growing stronger with each passing second. "I’ll protect you... even if it means keeping you from everyone else."
Logan (Hospital):
Logan was paralyzed with horror as he saw the reader push Aiden out of the way, taking the fatal blow in his place. He dropped to his knees beside her body, sobbing uncontrollably. "Why did you do that?" he choked out, his hands trembling as he touched her face. "You didn’t have to... I was supposed to protect you!" His heart shattered, a raw and aching pain spreading through his chest. "Please, come back. I can’t do this without you."
I didn’t know you write for Cursed Princess Club now, that’s exciting! Would you write for Syrah? If so, would you be able to write Syrah trying to find ways to use her curse to help or have fun? Since the ending of the series and seeing how she used her nose as a weapon, maybe she could use it for helping outside of fighting. I hope this is alright to request. Thank you for taking time to hear my request out 🙂
What If...
Syrah (CPC) Idea/short story
Yesss! I love Syrah, she cracked me up through the story, she was one of my favorites. I'm sorry if this is too short and that it took so so long to post! I've got 5 other requests on the way as well!! Again, im sorry if it's too short but I feel like these ideas would be super cute :(
-Writer Icy<3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Syrah stood in front of her mirror, staring at her long nose. It had always been a source of insecurity, but recently, after realizing she could use it as a weapon, she started to wonder what else it might be good for. She had been telling the “Im fine” Fib but her nose was betraying her so she decided to think of a way to put it into good fun.

"Okay, Syrah," she said to herself, determination shining in her eyes. "Time to turn this curse into something fun and helpful!"

The Ring Toss Idea

She wandered outside to the palace garden, where Gwen was playing with a small group of children, looking for something to do. Inspiration struck her. Syrah quickly grabbed a few rings from a nearby game set and walked over to the kids. With her nose already long enough, this should be a piece of cake! "Hey, how about we play a new game?" she suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

The kids looked at her, intrigued. "What game?" one of them asked.

"Ring toss!" Syrah grinned. "But with a twist."

She bent her nose slightly upward and held the rings up to each. The children gasped in awe as they realized what she was planning. Syrah stood still, her nose acting as the perfect post, and the children took turns tossing rings onto it. Laughter filled the garden as the rings landed one after another, some falling off, others staying on. "This is so much fun!" a little girl exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy. Syrah beamed, feeling a sense of pride and happiness she hadn't experienced in a long time. "See? My nose isn't just for show!"

The Crochet Experiment

Later that day, Syrah found herself in her room, thinking about what else she could do with her curse. As she sat down on her bed, her eyes looked around her as if responding to some subconscious thought as they landed on a ball of yarn. "Wait a minute..." she muttered, an idea forming in her mind. She grabbed some yarn and a crochet hook from her crafting supplies and began experimenting.

Since her nose was already extended, she carefully used it to loop the yarn, creating a surprisingly neat chain of stitches. "Hmm, I think I’m onto something here!" Syrah said, smiling to herself. She spent the next few hours practicing, and by the end of the day, she had managed to crochet a small, albeit slightly wonky, scarf. It was far from perfect, but Syrah was thrilled with her progress. "I can't believe it! Who knew my nose could be so useful for crafting?"

Over the next few days, Syrah continued to find creative uses for her curse. Whether it was helping her friends of the club with chores, making new friends with fun games, or crafting unique items for her loved ones, she was determined to prove that her curse could be a blessing in disguise. With every new discovery, Syrah grew more confident, learning to embrace her curse not as a flaw, but as a unique and valuable part of who she was.

Asylum Patient! König x GN! Doctor! Reader

Warnings⚠️: Posted here

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The quiet hum of my apartment felt almost unnatural after the weight of the asylum. The dim glow of my desk lamp cast long shadows as I flipped through König’s file, the pages slightly worn from being handled so many times.
I had read through his basics already—his history of violence, his refusal to remove his hood, his resistance to treatment—but it wasn’t until I dug deeper into his medication list that my brows furrowed.
Several of his prescriptions made sense—antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-anxiety medications—but a few names stood out.
{High doses of sedatives. Heavy tranquilizers.}
I muttered to myself, running a finger down the list. “Were they trying to sedate him or tranquilize him?”
I had seen this before. In facilities like Winchester, when a patient became too “difficult,” the solution was often chemical restraint rather than actual treatment. But König wasn’t an animal to be put down when he got too aggressive—he was a man. A man with a fractured mind, one that had been pushed to the point of breaking.
Sighing, I leaned back in my chair and scrubbed a hand down my face. I’d figure that out later. For now, I needed to prepare.
I got up, threw a microwave dinner into the machine, and let it spin while I grabbed my notebook. König’s file had listed his three biggest diagnoses—**PTSD, Severe Anxiety, and Bipolar Disorder.** None of them were uncommon for someone with a history like his, but combined with past military experience and hallucinations? It was a volatile mix.
I started writing.
PTSD:
- Triggers can vary (sounds, environments, smells).
- Hypervigilance—may react aggressively if startled.
- May experience flashbacks—important to ground them in the present.
- Do not corner or restrain without necessity—could escalate panic.
Severe Anxiety:
- Constant state of heightened awareness.
- Likely has difficulty trusting others—especially in a place like this.
- Resistance to medication may stem from paranoia.
- Routines might help stabilize his mood.
Bipolar Disorder:
- Mood swings—manic episodes vs. depressive episodes.
- Manic: Impulsive behavior, possible aggression.
- Depressive: Withdrawal, possible suicidal ideation.
- Medication regulation is critical.
I tapped the pen against my notepad, thinking. König wasn’t just violent—he was reactive. His entire life, he had been treated as a monster, as something to be subdued rather than understood. It wasn’t surprising that he lashed out.
The mircowave beeped, but I barely noticed it, my mind too focused on the task ahead. If I was going to handle this right, I needed to know what not to do.
What NOT to do around König:
- Sudden movements or loud noises—could trigger defensive aggression.
- Forced eye contact—may make him feel challenged or threatened.
- Overuse of restraints—will increase distrust and worsen anxiety.
- Talking down to him—he’s not *stupid*, and treating him like a child will only piss him off.
- Forcing medication—there has to be a reason he refuses it. Find out why.
I exhaled, closing the notebook.
Tomorrow was going to be my first session with König. I wasn’t walking into this blind.
I was going to be prepared.
————————————————————————
The asylum always felt colder in the mornings. Maybe it was just the old building settling, or maybe it was something else—something deeper. Either way, I felt it in my bones as I made my way to the lockers, stopping when I saw Miss. Nessi leaning against the wall, arms crossed.
"Morning," she greeted, offering me a small but knowing smile.
"Morning," I replied, twisting open my locker and grabbing my things. "Anything I should know before I see him?"
"Yeah," she sighed. "Jacobs is already in there."
I paused, my fingers gripping the edge of my clipboard a little tighter. "Of course he is."
"Be careful," Nessi murmured, lowering her voice. "You ever notice how some of the staff here act like they enjoy this place a little too much?" I glanced at her, noting the concern in her eyes. She was right. There were people here who weren’t just desensitized to the work—they thrived in it. Jacobs was one of them.
I gave her a nod, silently assuring her I’d be fine before heading to König’s restricted wing.
The moment I stepped inside, I knew something was wrong.
König was restrained, held down by two guards, his entire body tensed like a coiled spring. His breathing was sharp and uneven, chest rising and falling with barely contained rage. Jacobs stood in front of him, holding a small paper cup filled with pills.
"You gonna take 'em, or are we gonna have to *help* you again?" Jacobs taunted, his voice laced with amusement. "Come on, big guy. Open up."
König didn’t move. His hood obscured most of his face, but even from here, I could feel the intensity of his glare.
I flipped through my notebook, skimming my own notes. "Intimidation tactics don’t work," I said aloud, not bothering to hide my disapproval. "Neither does *antagonizing* the patient, but I guess that’s too much to ask."
Jacobs turned, his cocky smirk faltering slightly. "Oh, look, the new doc finally showed up." I didn’t rise to the bait. Instead, I met his gaze with a calm but firm stare. "Leave."
Jacobs scoffed. "Excuse me?"
"You’re excused," I replied evenly. "I’ll be handling his medication today." Jacobs’ jaw tightened. "You’re new. You don’t know how things work around here." I smiled, sharp and polite. "I know enough to recognize unprofessional behavior when I see it. Now, leave."
For a moment, I thought he’d argue, but something in my expression must have told him I wasn’t budging. He rolled his eyes and stepped back, shoving the cup into my hands before walking off with an irritated huff. I turned to the guards. "Out."
One of them hesitated. "Doctor, we’re required to—"
"—Stay out." My voice was firm, leaving no room for argument. "You’re not helping."
They exchanged looks but, eventually, backed away. The heavy doors clicked shut behind them, leaving just me and König in the room.
I finally exhaled, looking up at him. His breathing was still uneven, but now that Jacobs and the guards were gone, it wasn’t as ragged. His shoulders remained tense, but his fists had loosened slightly.
I took a slow, deliberate step forward. "They always treat you like that?"
Silence.
I held up the cup of pills. "I read your file. I know you don’t like taking these. I’m not going to force you. But if we’re going to work together, I need to understand *why* you refuse them." König didn’t speak, but he was listening. That was a start.
I placed the cup on the small table beside us, keeping my movements slow and non-threatening. "I’ll leave these here. Your choice. No threats. No force." I took a step back, giving him space.
"Can I take these off?" I gestured to the restraints. His fingers curled slightly, muscles twitching, but he gave a small nod. Carefully, I reached for the straps, undoing them one by one.
As the last restraint fell away, König didn’t move. He just *watched* me. For the first time since I walked in, I met his gaze, though his face remained shadowed beneath his hood.
"I’m Dr. Y/N," I said softly. "And I'll be taking care of you."
This is sadly true... very...very true
I have no shame
Well, I’m supposed to be sleeping. But ✨thoughts✨
Separated/Villain Au Donnie idea:
Starts off the same as most separated aus (Lou fleeing with the turtle tots, drops Donnie, and Donnie grows up on his own)
After some kinda of horrible accident that scars him, preteen (-ish) Donnie conducted a DNA test to determine how he was created and he hacked a database full of DNA samples, he finds he’s a match to Lou Jistsu.
After digging through numerous tabloid articles and dead-end “sightings” of the missing movie star, he discovers Lou is actually Hamato Yoshi.
He does little with this information until he’s forced onto the edges of New York by some opponent. That is where he discovers the foot Clan.
He does not join, no-he stalks and hacks-tearing apart and sinking his claws into every corner of the clan.
Eventually, he does the same to the overseas remainders of the Hamato Clan. It’s his vengeance on who he perceives to be the one who hurt him most-Yoshi. (Donnie is unaware of his brothers’ existence or that his father is not in fact dead.)
Afterwards the mutant becomes apathetic to the world, he doesn’t spare a care for the world that harmed him from his first breath. So, the mutant retreats into himself, playing the world outside his apartment no mind. Aside from growing his technological empire through puppet leaders and experimenting with mystic technology. (Does not end well, ima say that much)
And when he discovers his brothers existence? Well…He’s cut off two of Big Mama’s limbs for (stares a the blurry scribbles on my palm) breathing to “harshly” and insinuating SHELLDON was a “interesting use of his” (Donnie’s time), he won’t be happy.
He possibly might off Splinter, idk.
Going to sleep, might add onto later
Poly! Yandere! SBG Gang x reader who dies 4 times
The Gang!
Warnings: Extreme yandere tendencies, possessiveness, manipulation, veiled threats
OOOhhh jeez this wassss a good request! Im so sleepy guys lmao buuuttt im almost through with th requests, then ill make the announcements :') ANywayyy hope this meets expectations!
-Writer Icy<3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The tension in the air after the fourth time the reader dies is suffocating. Each death shakes the Yandere School Bus Graveyard gang to their core, and with every life-threatening moment, their fear of losing the reader forever becomes unbearable.

But the fourth time? The reader’s seemingly miraculous ability to cling to life begins to take its toll on both them and the gang. The reader, worn down physically and emotionally, struggles with the trauma of dying again and again. Each time they come back, it’s harder to find peace in the world around them. Sleep is elusive, memories of each near-death weighing heavily on their chest, making it hard to breathe.

But for the gang? Their love and obsession take a darker turn. Witnessing the reader's deaths leaves them unstable, hearts racing with anxiety and a need to protect. Something in their minds snaps. They can’t let it happen again. They **won’t** let it happen again.

Yandere Gang’s Reaction After the Fourth Death:

Ashlynn:

Ashlynn’s breakdown is quiet but devastating. She paces back and forth, wringing her hands until her knuckles turn white. Every time she closes her eyes, she can still see the reader’s lifeless body. It's a replay in her head that she can't turn off. She becomes obsessed with the idea that they need to keep the reader isolated, constantly muttering under her breath about ways to keep them safe.

“Away from everyone… from the danger… no one can hurt them in the graveyard.”

She starts sketching out plans in her notebook, a frantic scrawl detailing how they’ll live in the bus graveyard. “It’s safer there. We’ll make sure they never have to leave. Ever.” Her obsession with protecting the reader takes over every thought, and she clutches her notebook like it’s the key to their survival.

Ashlynn’s hands tremble as she clutches the reader’s face, her eyes wild with desperation. “You can’t leave us again,” she whispers, her voice breaking. “I won’t survive it. None of us will. You belong with us now.”

She presses her forehead to theirs, her breath coming in shallow gasps as tears spill down her cheeks. “We’ll protect you. We’ll keep you safe. No more dying. No more pain.”

---

Tyler:

Tyler is furious—at the Phantom Realm, at the world, at everything that keeps pulling the reader back into danger. His anger is overwhelming, and he spends hours punching the side of the abandoned buses, his fists bleeding. He can’t control the rage he feels for being powerless every time the reader dies. But beneath all the anger, there’s fear. Fear that one day, the reader won’t come back.

“We have to lock them away,” Tyler says, his voice gruff but laced with desperation. “No more risks. No more chances. We keep them with us, where they belong. Forever.”

Tyler is the first to suggest that the reader never leave the bus graveyard. He’s willing to do anything, even if it means confining them. As long as the reader is alive, that’s all that matters.

Tyler pulls the reader close, his grip almost too tight, his chest heaving with barely restrained anger. “I swear, if anything tries to take you from me again, I’ll destroy it,” he growls. “I don’t care what I have to do. You’re staying with us.”

He buries his face in their neck, his lips brushing their skin as he speaks, his voice low and possessive. “You belong to me—to all of us. Don’t even think about leaving again.”

---

Taylor:

Taylor has been crying nonstop since the reader’s fourth death. The fear of losing them has shattered her completely. She can't handle the thought of watching them die again. Her normally confident demeanor is gone, replaced by a fragile, scared version of herself. She clings to the reader, holding them too tightly, not wanting to let go even for a second.

“We need to stay in the graveyard. It’s safe there,” she whispers, her voice shaky. “We’ll make it home. We won’t let anything hurt you again.”

Her possessiveness deepens as she becomes more attached, unwilling to let the reader out of her sight. Taylor's need for control grows stronger, fueled by the fear of ever seeing the reader disappear again.

---

Aiden:

Aiden’s calm, composed facade finally cracks after the fourth time the reader dies. He tries to stay calm and fake a smile, but his hands tremble, and there’s a haunted look in his eyes. “This can’t keep happening,” he murmurs, pacing the floor of the bus. His mind races with thoughts on how to keep the reader safe, and he becomes consumed with the idea of trapping them in the graveyard permanently.

“We can make it comfortable,” he insists to the others. “No more risks. If they stay here, they’ll live. We’ll make sure of it.”

Aiden begins drawing up plans for turning the graveyard into a livable space, obsessively organizing every detail. He’s determined that the reader will never leave again—and he’ll make sure they’re kept safe, no matter the cost.

Aiden’s fingers trace the outline of the reader’s wrist, his touch light but filled with silent possessiveness. “We’re never letting you go,” he murmurs, his eyes dark with unspoken threats. “Not this time. You’re ours now.”

His lips curve into a smile, cold and sharp, as he leans in close. “We’ll keep you safe. No one will take you away from us. Not ever again.”

---

Ben:

Ben’s response is chillingly silent. He hasn’t spoken much since the fourth time the reader died, his mind spinning with dark thoughts. Ben’s anger has always simmered beneath the surface, but now it’s boiling over. He’s not just angry at anyone who looks at the reader—he’s angry at the world itself for trying to take them away.

“We’ll keep them hidden,” Ben finally says, his voice eerily calm and out of earshot.

His possessiveness intensifies as he starts planning how to keep the reader hidden from the world. Ben is the one who suggests using the bus graveyard as a permanent home, a place where the reader will never be in danger again—and no one will ever find them.

---

Logan:

Logan’s reaction is all-consuming guilt. Each time the reader dies, it feels like a piece of him dies with them. He believes that if he were stronger, faster, smarter, he could have prevented it. Now, his guilt mixes with desperation. He’s the one who suggests that they don’t just live in the graveyard—they trick the reader into staying on one of the buses.

“No one will find them there,” Logan says, his voice shaking. “We can seal it off. They’ll be safe. We can protect them.”

Logan’s willingness to imprison the reader comes from a place of overwhelming fear. He’s terrified that the next time they die, it will be for real. And he can’t live in a world without them.

---

The Plan:

The gang agrees unanimously that the reader must be kept in the bus graveyard, away from the dangers of the Phantom Realm and the real world. They can’t risk losing the reader again. They become obsessed with transforming the graveyard into a permanent home, where the reader can live in isolation with them.

Each member of the gang takes on a different role—Aiden and Ashlynn make the plans, Tyler and Ben handle the physical labor, and Taylor and Logan ensure that the reader never tries to leave. Every time the reader expresses discomfort or fear, they’re met with soft reassurances and veiled threats.

“This is for your own good,” they all say, their voices filled with devotion. “We won’t let anything happen to you again. You’re safe now.”

The reader’s trauma from dying multiple times only makes them more vulnerable, and the gang takes advantage of that vulnerability, keeping them close at all times. They’ve already lost the reader too many times—they won’t let it happen again.

Ever.
