No, but considering my nearing superhuman ability to not be able to tell if someone looks mad might come in handy😂😂
Percy at ease
Percy calm, but a little on edge
Percy when mildly angry
Friendly reminder that Percy jackson - our beloved silly adorable seaweed brain - is absolutely terrifying. When he’s angry, when he’s scared, when he’s on edge - he’s not warm and fuzzy.
No other character gets that reaction from people. Jason (the sweetie) is perceived as calm and in control, nico (our favorite self-outcasted outcast) is perceived as solemn and creepy, reyna (girlboss queen slay) is perceived as confident and assertive, and annabeth (our girl) is perceived as fierce, clever, and formidable. They are all intimidating to an extent.
But not like Percy. No. Becasue even when he’s at ease, he’s described as wild and disobedient. And when he’s not at ease, even if just little bit, he’s perceived as powerful, dangerous, and scary. Someone who NOBODY wants to mess with. Nobody even questions his power. One look from him has literal gangs running the other way. One look from him has Leo so scared that he’s literally shaking, and feeling the same innate fright and alarm that he does when jason summons an ear-piercing, earth-shaking, deadly bolt of lighting.
like… HELLO??? can we all just sit on that for a moment?? good lord
One angry look from percy has people thinking one thing: Run.
Percy is, canonically, the character that people find the most frightening and intimidating.
And unless he’s in a good mood - which you better hope he is - the reality is that most of us would be completely terrified of him if we met him.
*slowly slides friendship contract towards you*
(The contract literally only says food and delulu)
I need a shifting friend pleaseeerr
Madoc: you think Cardan will just hand over his power? To you?
Cardan: come home and shout at me. Come home and break my heart if you must. Just come home
And I couldn't just ignore when she asks if Percy saw her. Like, the little look that says "Oh that's why" and proceeds to spot Clarisse without missing a beat. That lil moment of dissapointment
In this scene he was so sure she hated him and his guts to no extent. And then the scene proceeds off to her with her knife on his throat. I can't-
(Art's not mine. Idk whose. Tell me if it's yours and you want it taken down. I 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 be sad tho)
Oh, yk what else they have in common? So much suffering and them not ending up together:')
I was today years old when I realized Percico has the exact same age gap as Romeo and Juliet.
It means absolutely nothing, but it's neat to think about.
on one hand i’m interested in what the rwrb movie is gonna be like but on the OTHER hand i’m Not interested in what the general public is gonna say about rwrb
Most unrealistic part of 1x04 is that when Percy said the stinger was poisonous, Annabeth didn't immediately correct him to venomous
there’s something strangely gutwrenching about the solstice having already passed. there have been minor changes in the “side adventures” of the trio.
they know they’re entering medusa’s house. they go to the arch for sanctuary against echidna and chimera. they go to waterland to help ares and convince hephaestus to stop being like his family. they go to the lotus hotel to get help from hermes.
in the books they’re getting tricked and distracted and losing all of that time on their quest was an accident. but they still made it in the end.
but in the show? they did everything right. they were aware of where they were at all times. but then they go and ask for help.
they try to ask for athena’s help and she lets monsters into her temple because they “embarrassed her.” they try to ask for hermes’ help but he doesn’t tell them until it’s too late that the lotus hotel messes with time.
they basically did everything right on their quest only for their biggest failures to occur because of the gods.
but poseidon gives him four pearls. four, instead of three. one for sally too. but we already know that she gets left behind.
they tried so hard only for the deadline to lapse.
Where do I sign?
petition for them to release like a deleted scene or something that shows the Gods on Olympus reacting to Hermes delivering Medusa's head at the end of 1.03 so we can see specifically how Athena and Poseidon's faces were pls and thank!
OR WHAT IF ITS THE PERCY FROM, LIKE, POST LAST OLYMPIAN?!?!!??! Either one would be fine, but imagine. They use a clip here of an older, stronger Percy. And later, even though Walker would have actually grown up, they would use the same clip because foreshadowing?????
I just realized the PJO show runners could do something so sick and twisted and amazing during the Circe scene.
What if, the image that Percy sees in the mirror, the “cooler” version of himself, is like book accurate Percy. I just think that would be such a funny, messed up little Easter egg.
