As a person who has shipped Percico the moment they said Nico likes Annabeth, this is soothing my heart, i can't-
No one attack this post or I will curse you
Nico as Percy's unintended Ace in the Hole. Nico is his secret weapon, able to give him the key to victory when he feels lost or that death is a certainty. Whenever Percy is in danger or destined to die, it's Nico who gives him what he needs to keep going, to survive. He's such a secret advantage that not even Percy knows he has it.
Think about it, everyone just gave up and accepted he would die at 16, Nico didn't. The battle of Manhattan was a lost cause, with them heavily outnumbered, and Nico arrived with Hades and the Cavalry. Nico finds out where the Doors of Death are, he talks up Percy to Bob and he's key in helping him and Annabeth go through Tartarus. Nico is always there, and he's the reason Percy is successful.
And the moment he realizes this, the moment he sees that Nico is his greatest asset, he'll also turn into his greatest treasure. Nico might have fallen first, but Percy definitely will fall harder.
So I was just thinking. If Sally, like, told Percy to join Kronos, I'm pretty sure he would have. I mean, idk about Percy but I would have if she told even if I knew the ending. Like, if Sally believed in it, then I'll fight for it. Would you too or are you weird?
holds your face very gently. listen. listen to me: Grover and Percy are soulmates. Their lives are very literally tied together and they cannot exist without the other. Canonically, if one of them dies, they both die. They literally share a telepathic link that they can use to communicate from literally anywhere and they can feel each other's feelings. They are best friends and their lives are physically bound to one another. This is so important to me.
Son of Sally Jackson, Supreme Lord Of The Bathroom
Nico: now, with this goddess you introduce yourself using titles, with the most important first. So I'd be Nico di Angelo, ambassador of pluto, wanderer of the Pit.
Percy: ok.
Percy: hi, I'm percy jackson, boyfriend of Annabeth...
The "imaginative little kid" to "little girl who's in her own little world" to "shy girl with no friends" to "oc lore writer" to "weird kid" to "social recluse" to "reality shifter" pipeline is real
the absolute audacity of these kids in this episode alone is insane like annabeth just casually pickpocketing hermes, the god of thieves, and percy immediately rear ending said god’s fucking car into multiple concrete walls oh my god i love these terrors
and then grover was just happy to be there
unpopular opinion but i dont think annabeth should have thrown the dagger at luke.
she should have stayed invisible and during the fight luke and percy suddenly hear clapping coming from nowhere and annabeth's voice singing "oh golly the road's getting bumpy.."
totally would have stopped the rest of the events from the next 4 books happening
When I tell you I judged myself so bad for being that attracted to, like, a guy. And that too a Greek God.
I mean he's fictional so at least there's that-
“the sea does not like to be restrained”
i squealed
entering 2023 being obsessed with neteyam, entering 2024 even more obsessed with neteyam 🥰
you’re right, my favorite fictional character would never.
😭🤌🏻
Rereading parts of Queen of Nothing and when Cardan confesses his love and said "you probably guessed that already" really makes me want to read Cardans perspective even more.
Because the more you reread the more you see how much he clearly loves her and started taking his guards down around her.
Like when she came to him when she was released from the Undersea and he just pulled her to bed and held her.
The literal budding and blooming flowers when he said his vows and she said hers.
Fighting tooth and nail when Madoc came for her. Coming to get her and making her promise to be safe when he came for her at the war camp.
Like I could go on. And the entire time Jude was thinking what? He hates her and he is thinking he's wearing his heart on his sleeve and letting his feelings known
